She operated in numerous capacities and even took over the activity center and was instrumental with intake and along with Matthew guided us every step of the way. Karla and Vangie came along later but were very responsive with any medicine or administrative concerns or needs. Enrique resolved any maintenance issues that needed attention and always did it with a smile. And Heather assisted my mom tremendously through day to day needs and was stern when my mom was being stubborn. My dad was quite ill, with several complications which made it critical to find a place that could provide 24 hour care for him. The team at Ladera Sunrise took excellent care of him. They did a great job managing his needs and his appointments. My dad commented several times that Ladera Sunrise was the best facility that he had been in, and if he could not be at home, he would prefer to be there. They kept the house very clean, enforced all the rules around safety, and most importantly, took excellent and kind care of my father during the most vulnerable time of his life. I was able to sleep better knowing that my father was in good hands and was being looked after around the clock. I am very grateful to everyone at Ladera Sunrise, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Tracy and any of her care homes to anyone who needs a board and care home for their loved one.

First and foremost, the idea they had to celebrate a fun day, bringing joy and distraction to their front-line staff and beloved residents resonated with us so much and we were struck by how giving and loving of an idea this was. From the planning phase to execution the entire process was a delight in helping bring their vision to life. And the day of the event was something hard to describe in words--it was overwhelmingly magical. People danced and smiled, and posed for photos and enjoyed one-another. Residents felt the love and welcomed this bit of an uplift and distraction, and staff felt honored and celebrated. They all came together to share in the festivities and from what we were told, the magical after-effect lasted days and days. It's just a blessing that they're closed and they're no longer there.. Plus, they didn't pay their bills. They owe lots of people lots of money. And then they just disappear.. Is that a place you'd want a place your loved one?. I think the phone number still belongs to ESTELLE who's trying to manipulate the situation, but I wouldn't use it. ESTELLE was part of the whole problem when they were in existence.

I would love to bring my mother here as I think she'd really benefit with all the social interaction but it's not feasible for us financially at the moment. It's nice to know that Ivy is a good option if and when it's not possible for family to look after my mom. I do wish it were a bit more affordable but there's so much that goes in to caring for someone with Alzheimer's that the cost seems justified just not accessible to everyone I'm afraid. The staff there are second to none and were so friendly and accommodating the whole visit.

However, after three weeks, it's clear that he has settled in very well. The staff are taking excellent care of him, and we truly appreciate the time and attention given by the nurses, IP specialist, social worker, and nutritionist, who all sat with us to discuss his progress and care plan. Their support and communication have been incredibly helpful and have given us confidence that we made the right decision. Most importantly, our father appears comfortable and happy, which means everything to us. Thank you so much for being here for our family.
