The infestation was out of control for us. We had large salads in bowls as well as a large assortment of exposed fruit. By the time guests noticed, the ants were all over the salads and the fruit...and we, as hosts, felt so ashamed. Guest were worried whether they had eaten infested portions that they served themselves. I mentioned the ant infestation to the manager the following day but he just surmised that the infestation was mostly likely because of the warm weather (?). (Personally, I think that I should have been offered at least some of my money back that I paid to rent to facility.) Anyway, that was a real spoiler for us. Other than that, everything else was ok. What could have been great, wasn't.

From there, we boarded a comfortable bus that took us through some of the most incredibly decorated houses and streets I've ever seen. What made it even better was being able to get off the bus at stops to view the lights up close and take photos. Throughout the tour, we were treated to holiday music, fun jokes, and interesting local history, which kept the energy high and everyone smiling. There were also refreshments on the bus, and the surprise visit from the Grinch was the perfect touch--such a fun moment! This was a magical, well-organized, and joy-filled experience. And they also asked for booking almost 10 months ahead of the tour day...in conclusion, most parents thought it's to expansive and not enough registration and they said if the minimum number is not reached, they will either be charging for those who already registered or cancel it after all...the tour got cancelled and most parents are relieved. Not bc parents could not afford it; it's just bc the costs do not match up with what it offer especially a lot of the spots on the tour are either free admission or offering student/group discount...

Dan was so amazingly helpful and now I truly understand why everyone books him for Honeymoons and all trips. At first, I was really overwhelmed, didn't know where I wanted to go, and didn't know how much to budget. Plus there's a million hotels, how can you tell which one is legit...I don't have time to read every single review! All I did was answer a few questions for Dan and he really helped narrow down the choices. PRICE: I know this is cheesy but after my trip was booked, I looked up the exact same hotel with the same dates - IT WAS THE SAME PRICE as Expedia/Travelocity, actually a little cheaper than them. But it felt good to know I wasn't just a number like I would have been to those other sites. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Every time I had a question, I was able to email Dan directly and get quick response. I really trust his expertise advice. He even sent me a preparation type package of what to do and what not to do, depending on where you book your trip. We went to Cabo and he advised us to avoid the timeshare people in certain sections. They were so tricky and I really would have fell for it if Dan didn't tell us about it. The list had things like what to bring, not to bring, how to keep your house safe while traveling, etc. BONUS: He surprised us with a LIMO TO THE AIRPORT! It was so nice of him to hook us up with a limo to really start off the trip right! Thank goodness too because after crazy planning, we didn't even think about how we would get to the airport.
