We ended up picking a Princess Cruise and related land tours. Dave Branson is our consultant and he took it upon himself to arrange the cruise and our land tours and flights. He did a superlative job. One can only hope that a cruise meets the expectations that the advertisements often pique. In our case, Princess came up short, being that the ship seemed to be out of date in terms of decor and amenities. Food was also inconsistent. The tour advisor cannot be blamed for the failings of the cruise line. Without Dave Branson our experience would have been far different, and probably much less enjoyable.

I've been many times for over 25 years and booked direct and with travel agents. Direct is ok for something simple, you know the cruise line maybe and maybe repeating a trip...say Carnival for the Christmas weekend to Ensenada...but my experience is that the pricing is the same whether buying direct from the line or buying with a travel agent. The travel agent gets a small commission from the line, obviously but they are buying at a discount so the pricing is consistent whether buying from the travel agent or going direct. But what you get FOR FREE from the travel agent is often invaluable in the form of advice about a particular line, the cruise, the ports, where on the ship you want you state room and a dozen other question that these experts to provide. The team at Expedia Laguna Hills is great at this. Old school customer service, actually answering the phone personally and helping you RIGHT NOW, not a website, not endlessly clicking for answers you can't find, real answers when you need them. Dave, Chris and others are responsive, knowledgeable, experienced and very easy to understand, very hard to find in our modern world and so great to have them right here in Orange County.

Instead of taking a few minutes to investigate, Andrew became visibly frustrated that I was asking questions and refused to look into the issue. Throughout the interaction, he was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. When I explained that I didn't realize I needed to remove my old address from my renters policy, instead of simply helping me, he responded, "These are the things that you should just know. We're not responsible for that." That response felt more like a lecture than customer service. I came into the office because I had questions and needed assistance. I wasn't expecting to be talked down to for not knowing something. A customer service representative's job is to help customers resolve issues, not make them feel uncomfortable for asking for help. Fortunately, Blanca later assisted me. She was courteous, professional, and resolved everything--including updating my renters policy--in less than 10 minutes. Her willingness to help highlighted how unnecessary Andrew's attitude was. I hope AAA addresses this because no customer should be treated this way for simply asking questions about their own policy.

For every trip that we have booked with Vicki, she has always advised us to purchase travel insurance. Thank goodness for her insight as our France trip had to be cancelled in March of 2020 due to Covid, we recovered every cent that was prepaid when we cancelled. This summer, we booked a 3 week trip to Italy for our family of five. I knew that I wanted to visit the Puglia region, Amalfi Coast, and Tuscany. Aside from these three general regions, I left it up to Vicki to help decide what cities within these regions to stay. We also wanted to have a car rental to explore but also travel by train because my husband loves to travel by train. Our 3 week journey went seamlessly well. We visited Matera, Bari, Lecce, Positano, Sorrento, Florence, Lake Como and Milan. Vicki made sure our car rental was large enough to fit our five carry ons suitcases and three teenagers for 11 days. Vicki suggested not having a rental car in Lake Como as it's better to use ferries to travel in the area. Our hotels was always centrally located to allow us to walk to restaurants and sights. When we took the train to our next destination, our hotel was within a7-10min walk from the train station. Transfers from train station to hotel was planned, transport from hotel to airport was set in place. Everything that needed to be planned, Vicki was on top of it. From reminding us to renewal our passports to obtaining an international driver license, no stone was left unturned. The best part of working Vicki is that she knows our family likes and dislikes and was able to help us planned a trip that fits our personalities and needs. We did not get a generic itinerary, our itinerary was carefully curated with Vicki's expertise in the region. Our accommodations were top notch, always centrally located, and close to transportation. Even after arriving in the various cities, Vicki was sending restaurant recommendations for each city we were at. It was reassuring to know that she knew where we were while on our trip and that she was a text/call away if needed. I'm grateful to have an amazing travel agent in Vicki. She has made every trip we've had effortless, enjoyable, and memorable. I can't imagine planning a trip without Vicki's assistance. She's truly a gem.

They were friendly and welcoming and made sure that all of our questions were answered. The whole experience is neat because in such a small area, there are so many things to see, smell, and read! They have their own section of a gift shop as well. I can't wait until they expand their location and I'm so glad they our family had the opportunity to experience the Museum of Make Believe.
