Love the styles and beautiful products but I wish I had read these reviews before going to the store. We spent $16,000 before Thanksgiving and we still don't have even one piece that we ordered. Won't be delivered now until last week of April. Their system is terrible and the sales people rather drop the ball once the deposits are taken. We were told there were pieces in the warehouse but everything had to be delivered at once, so nothing in all this time! I am steamed and would not recommend this store based on delivery times only. read more

We purchased a bed and two night stands. One star because the furniture is nice. Everything other than actually choosing and paying for the furniture has been extremely frustrating. Delivery of furniture was not as promised by sales person (over a month late). The drawer in one of the night stands didn't work correctly, and trying to speak to a human being on the phone was nearly impossible, literally impossible. All calls are directed to the Arhaus "concierge", which leaves you the option to stay on hold for a very long time... or have them call you back, if you are lucky. Don't make the same mistake we did. Will not buy from Arhaus again, which is unfortunate. read more

I was worried about shopping here because of the low number of stars on Yelp. I generally pay a lot of attention to other customer opinions. But i was limited in stores that carried the quality, price and availability of a sofa surround set so I walked in. My experience was great, every step of the way. Deborah was helpful and spent a lot of time with me. No pressure when I went to scope out a few competitors. I came back to Arhaus because their sectional met all my requirements, and the sale price made it affordable. Delivery was exactly what I was promised and the two guys had wrapped every piece carefully. Very impressive. read more

Oh boy, where do I start. Let's begin with the dog in the store. Not a service dog or emotional support dog, just a big dog owned by one of the employees or manager. It wasn't a cute small lap dog that kids would want to pet - it should be out running in a field. That was the first time in the store. A week or so later I went back intent on ordering a table and there was the dog again. This time, it was causing a major disruption at the checkout by harassing and challenging someone's service dog. That was an uncomfortable experience and I felt so bad for that older couple. I took my money to another store. read more

We picked out about $40k worth of furniture to furnish our new home, hoping over time to purchase pieces one at a time- We ordered and received the reclaimed wood bench (looks like a church pew) and really like it. We are also very happy with the wool rug we purchased on clearance because it was a discontinued style. The side dining chairs for our kitchen table are sturdy and well made. We were happy with the in-home design service, the store is beautiful and the furniture (at first glance) looks to be very well made. All of the issues started when we ordered our Dune Sectional in a special order fabric. We waited 8 weeks (pretty standard for special order) for a delivery date. The delivery guys came 4 hours late- not until 5:30 PM and they informed me they were over-booked and still had several more deliveries to make. The sectional arrived damaged in 3 places- two rub marks (holes) on the back where it looks like it had been stored on it's side in the truck as well as a box-cutter slice on the chaise lounge side. I signed for it and marked the damage on the receipt. Overall the sofa seemed poorly made with parts of the piping coming off and the back of the piece appearing all ripply. The process for repairing the sectional was going to be Customer Service sending a fabric cutting so we could be sure the dye lot matched. I waited a month and then when Customer Service finally emailed to ask if it matched, I replied that I hadn't. No word back. I then called the store manager who was very apologetic and helpful. Another week went by and nothing. I called the store manager back on a Friday afternoon and said I'd not received nor heard a word. She sounded appalled and said she'd follow-up and get right back to us Monday. Finally I received an email from Customer Service saying the cutting had been sent a week ago, but it could take 7-10 business days to receive. At this point we were done. We have asked them to come and pick up the sectional. We were not going to wait for the cutting only to hope it matched, and then only to wait another possible 2 months to get the sectional, hopefully not damaged. Customer Service said they would refund our delivery charge ($125) and possibly get us a gift card if we would let them make this right. I feel sorry for our salesperson and the store manager because Customer Service's follow through was really half-assed. We have ordered a sectional from Restoration Hardware, where we've had much better luck in the past. Not sure if others have had similar experience with special ordered upholstery... but maybe stick with what they have "in stock." read more

We have purchased in the past from Arhaus (Cherry Creek and now Boulder), and find the quality of the furniture and accessories to be very nice, the customer service (Teri) wonderful, and followed up by on-time and friendly delivery. We had to delay the delivery as we were out of town when it was supposed to happen. The re-schedule worked out perfectly. The order was exactly as ordered. read more

Let me first start by saying we have bought over $15,000 worth of furniture- the furniture is beautiful and high quality so you don't mind spending a little more than other places. Our sales person Donna who helped us was awesome. She came to our home and looked at the space and then helped with recommendations. She also went out of her way to make sure I got a chandelier in time and hand delivered it. The stores policy is the problem- first you pay $150 per delivery. If you get it home and don't like the way it fits/looks/etc, - they only give you 2 weeks and will charge you a 10% restocking fee even if you exchange it with a more expensive piece of furniture! Then they charge another $150 for the redelivery! In addition, I ordered a mattress and bed frame and had to wait over 6 weeks and exchanges are still out 3 weeks! I overheard some people talking in a store about the same issue with Arhaus and they told me to go thru other quality furniture companies in Denver as they don't charge a thing for delivery or restocking and they give you 30 days to spend with the furniture before you need to send it back with a full refund irregardless if you buy another thing from them. I called a few of them and sure enough (Room and Board for one). Orders are delivered within the week -I will be buying elsewhere unless they change this ridiculous policy! We ordered over 11K worth of furniture. All the pieces look amazing in the home. The Table we ordered came with the incorrect screws, and then our adventure with Arhaus client services began. After numerous calls with client services and visits to Arhuas, we finally got an install date a month later. Unfortunately they arrived not in window and we had to jump off important client calls to let the team in, to install the table. After being told we cannot install the table ourselves, my biggest fear occurred, the Arhaus team installed the table unleveled, using just basic screws! Now I have to go home and correctly install this beautiful table. I'm not sure how a company at this price level can deliver worse service! Not Happy at All! So far we have missed dinner evenings with guests in town, have had a wonky table which could've come off its base at any point and now it is fixed at sloped angle. We had a wonderful time with the sales lady, but once you have payed, expect the worst service imaginable. You may be better off going to Target or Ikea. Waiting 3 months for furniture from Arhaus and then waiting another month to use the furniture is not a great experience. read more

I was surprised to see such low ratings of this store, as my experience with them has been great! On a whim, my husband and I ordered a leather couch and chair and it was delivered just a few days later. However, I immediately knew we purchased the wrong items for our new home and they had to be returned. I went into the store the very next day and everyone was so kind, understanding and helpful. I ended up taking some fabric swatches home that night and then ordered and entirely different couch (and a bed too!) a day later. I've been into the Boulder store multiple times and have never been helped. I am younger than what I assume is their usual demographic. I went in today to look for a sectional. One salesperson was helping a customer, and the second salesperson came out from the back room, walked past me while I was looking and testing out a couch, and immediately began busying herself with paperwork behind the counter. I walked around the whole store multiple times, with no acknowledgement. Another customer came in, and she asked that customer how she could help almost immediately. Customer service is so important and can win or lose business forever. Please be mindful of all customers in the future. read more

Short version: Arhaus sells medium- to high-end furniture at high-end prices. Delivery management and logistics suck beyond belief. Boulder employees can't sneeze without permission from management; store manager is obnoxious; regional manager doesn't have the pull she claims to. As a consumer, you can do better. I do not recommend this store or this company. Full version: I bought a table and chairs. When the woman taking my credit card info got to the delivery logistics, she asked what day and gave me a couple of options. I assumed that they would be no worse than Comcast, requiring the customer to block off a four-hour window. Nope. A whole day. She explained that they will give me a one-hour window, but really what they do is, 24 hours ahead of time, tell you when they will be there. They don't ask. So as a practical matter, I would have to block out an entire day to be home for their delivery. I said that wasn't good enough. But she said their "system" was set up that way. Realizing I was dealing with someone who didn't outrank the business software, I asked for a manager. Manager wasn't available but would call me. When the manager called the next day, I explained that I needed better delivery service. Her first reaction was to tell me that maybe I should shop somewhere else. This is the sales manager. It went downhill from there, so I insisted on talking to her boss, the regional manager. The regional manager began by telling me, as had the previous two people, that it would be "impossible" to arrange a more reasonable window for delivery. I kept at it until she assured me that she would have the delivery made before I had to leave at 10:15am that day. She also assured me that I would still receive an automated call from the warehouse 24 hours ahead telling me the delivery time. At about 18 hours before scheduled delivery, I still had not received a call. When I looked on my phone, I saw a missed call that turned out to be Arhaus, but their system does not leave voicemails. So you actually have to pick up the phone to get told by a machine when they will deliver your furniture. I called the number, navigated the phone menu to get to the delivery department, which automatically put me on hold for about 10 minutes. Finally, an automated voice told me I would have to leave a voice message. I did so, asking for the delivery time. They never returned my call. Since I didn't trust them to call me back, I immediately tried customer service after leaving a message for delivery. Customer service put me on hold for another 10 minutes. When a human picked up, she immediately asked me if I could hold. My "no" answer didn't have any effect. I waited some more. Finally, she came back on and I got the delivery time...which was 1pm. NOT before 10am, as promised. At this point, I realized what I was up against, and rearranged my day (noting that I was rearranging the very next day, it being late in the day before delivery). I then tried to track down the regional manager but could only leave a message with one of her employees. She never called me back. On the morning of the delivery day, the driver called me to tell me they would be delivering at, or just after, 10am. Unbelievable. Precisely the wrong time with two hours notice. I told him, no, show up on time. He assured me they would. They did not. They showed up early, just barely catching me as I returned home for the re-re-re-scheduled delivery window. To top it all off, one of the chairs they delivered was damaged. There is no good reason to shop here. They have plenty of competition with much better customer service. Try Boulder Furniture Arts, who delivered (free in Boulder) during a one-hour window arranged one week ahead of time, and they did it with a smile. And they sell higher quality furniture. read more

I was visiting and popped in to see what Arhaus had to offer; never having been in one before, it had a very nice selection and quality of furniture. I was approached by a sales person/consultant, Donna Phelper, and she was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable, listened to my needs and very creative. We will not shop here again. The nightstand we ordered to match a dresser previously purchased did not match. We went through this process of ordering & waiting 3 different times. One time it took a few months. We asked over & over to buy the floor model because it was the best match, & were told it's against their policy & they would not do it. When we went back to the store this last time to straighten out the problem, we saw that the floor model nightstand was gone & had been sold to someone else. We even had a regional manager involved but to no avail. The colors are not right & may be changing without any admission to that fact either. Lots of excuses being made when called out on it. My experience here was AWFUL. I am an interior decorator and relatively new to the field. I came here on behalf of my clients with literally thousands of dollars at my disposal to spend. I'm also a full time mom who has another full time job. I wasn't dressed to the nines when I walked in this store. I came in in my street clothes and I felt like the associates took one look me and dismissed me as a valuable client. It literally felt like the scene in pretty woman when Julia Roberts walked into the fancy dress store and got completely dismissed. I wasn't dressed like a prostitute and I got the exact same treatment. When I mentioned that I was a designer and if they offered any sort of industry incentives, they acted like they didn't believe I was in the field. The judgement was palpable and I felt completely disrespected. I ended up purchasing a bed for my client because it was on sale. I was told by one of the associates that it was the last day the bed was on sale. I live 20 minutes out of town so it was not realistic for me to run home to grab my client's payment so I ended up purchasing the bed on my own credit card while making sure with the associate that I would be able to come in later and retroactively change my form of payment. When I came in to change the payment, the bed was still on sale. The associate had lied to me, presumably to gain her commission. This time my children were also with me and I received the same sort of snobby treatment. I don't like bringing my children to the grocery store let alone a fancy furniture store but because my husband and I work multiple jobs I had to bring them. Again this is a 40-50 minute round trip for an errand with small children and the associates again looked at me like I was homeless or something. After asking to change the payment they said they could not because it was "in process " and I'd have to come back at least two days after delivery to be able to access the invoice and make the change. So I came back this morning, again with my children, and was there when they opened. I had other appointments and the kept the doors locked until 5 after opening time which started the interaction on a time crunch. This time the manager told me they couldn't change an order retroactively and I became furious. When I voiced my irritation they made efforts to try to resolve the issue but nobody seemed to know how. So I had to leave to make my other appointment and come back at which point they had completed the exchange but still got it wrong because they didn't account for the $150 delivery fee that I also fronted. At one point the manager asked me why I didn't just pay my card off with the cash and I had to explain to her that it would then look like unclaimed income. Overall I feel like this place exudes an air of superiority. The lack of friendliness of the staff combined with the way they sized me up as unworthy makes this an incredibly unsavory place to spend any amount of money, let alone the thousands I would have brought them in business. They should fire their staff and bring over the friendly folks from the Apple Store. read more

I haven't bought any furniture from Arhaus (at least not yet.) But I did recently discover that they sell jewelry and they have a pretty sizable jewelry case with some very nice fancy beautiful jewelry. Rings, necklaces, bracelets, pins... you name it, they've got It! I'm going to buy a very special necklace, bracelet, and a ring for my husband as an anniversary present from Arhaus Boulder. I would highly recommend Manuel B! He's absolutely wonderful and he's very sweet! Every time I've been in the store, he was very warm and welcoming, and he helped me feel very comfortable and right at home! He even gave me a few suggestions in colors and pattern that my hubby would really like, and I think I'm going to go with Manuel's suggestions. Manuel is the absolute best, hands down, no questions asked! If you go to Arhaus and you're looking for cute and stylish furniture, accessories, decorations, and/or jewelry, ask for Manuel! Our gorgeous modular leather sofa at Arhaus in Boulder was delivered yesterday and we couldn't be more pleased. Excellent experience from beginning to end! Morgan worked expertly with us to customize the sofa so we were able to get exactly what we wanted. The sofa was ready 2 weeks earlier than anticipated and it was delivered within the 2 hour window promised. We live on a steep slope and our driveway was still covered with deep snow so the delivery guys carried each piece up the long drive with amazing good humor. This is our 3rd purchase from Arhaus in Boulder. Highly recommended! read more

My husband and I have been looking for a living room piece ( sectional ) and new bedroom set... we have been to at least 5 furniture stores and have have subpar experiences. We decided to try arhaus today and it was literally the best experience ever. Tylor was our sales associate and she was beyond fantastic. She knew her stuff and made every decision so easy. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and informative. We know arhaus has really good quality furniture and are so pleased we found all we needed there. Our experience with Deborah Doyle at the Boulder Arhaus was really great. What separates Deborah is that she truly cares and wants to make sure her clients are happy. She gives honest feedback and advice. She is a designer and really knows colors and taste. The manager at The store helped me with an exchange and she truly went the extra mile to help. I felt cared for and her follow up was great. The only reasons for a review being other than five star is that Arhaus is corporate and some of their corporate policies regarding exchanges and credits are frustrating. The employees are bound by corporate policy but they do a good job of explaining them. read more

I love Arhaus furniture. I purchased a sofa and 2 oversized chairs. I chose custom fabric on the sofa and 1 chair, and the leather chair was a stocked item. Everyone in the store was very friendly. The salesperson I worked with was Deborah. She spent a great deal of time and was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable in helping me make decisions on fabric and furniture choices, and was readily available and knowledgeable if I had followup questions or concerns. All the pieces were delivered several weeks ahead of estimate, and the delivery team was really efficient, friendly, and eager to help with arranging the pieces. read more

Bought 2 sofas that cost around $9,000. They did not look anything like the ones in showroom or other friends who have same thing. They acted as if they were doing me a huge favor to not charging me a restocking fee but insisted that I pay for delivery of an exchange. I do not feel that I should have to spend more money to get what I ordered. They were so accommodating when I was buying them but when I called our sales rep and their "concierge service, their attitude was not helpful. I will need to buy furniture for my new house but I will never step foot inside another Arhaus again. read more

I purchased a RELIC piece of furniture, Made in China, in late 2014-early 2015. At that time I was pleased with the purchase. The 25-1/2" table top of jointed wood developed a significant crack, 1/8" wide x 18" length in the middle. I took two pictures to the store. Number One: the representative said RELIC furniture is not warrantied. I was not told that RELIC is not covered under warranty at the time of purchase. (2) Store Manager Lori pulled from a drawer a 8' x 11' sheet of legalese, from a stack several inches thick, a warranty proclamation, printed so small that I needed reading glasses. (3) The manager said the warranty is on the invoice. I received the invoice copy the AFTER the purchase, not before purchase. I was never shown or given a copy of the Legal Warranty document at the time of purchase. (4) I asked to see the price tag on a current RELIC piece of furniture for sale on the showroom floor. The disclaimer in NOT printed on The PRICE TAG, only Care and Maintenance instructions. (5) I was given the 1-888 number for Clients Services. I have called twice, and was placed into voice mail. The message said you will not lose your place in cue, leave name, phone number and reason for call. Five (5) hours later, I have not received a return call. DO NOT purchase furniture from ARHAUS Boulder, CO unless you bring a lawyer. read more

Beware and take heed to all the below average comments about this company, as I too experienced similar issues. Their marketing department does a great job painting a picture of perfection, and hand craftsmanship, but we experienced quality control issues and logistical shipping changes affecting my work schedule. The dining table arrived with a minor scratch from what appeared to be improper handling from the drivers, or packing in the truck. One of our chairs base support pieces was loose and out of its socket, like it was not glued together properly from the factory. The biggest issue I had was with the mango wood top. It had three relatively small man made gouges in the same strip of would, like it happened in the factory and they stained right over it. Relatively small gouges (1", 2.5" and .5" indent), but big enough that quality control should not have tried to ship this as a near mint piece of furniture. The reps in the store could use some training on customer service. Customer service is exchanging the table and chair no questions asked. I hope the exchange goes well. read more

My wife and I recently spent the afternoon shopping for furniture for our living room in our home here in Boulder. We were starting from scratch and needed a sectional and tables. Our consultant, Manuel, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of style, and he really made us feel comfortable. He found us the perfect pieces for the dimensions and color scheme of our living room. The furniture we purchased is of the highest quality and we are very happy with Manuel's suggestions! The only reason we are giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the delivery process, which was very shabby. The delivery personnel did not arrive as scheduled, and were not at all careful with the handling of our new furniture. Other than that, we would recommend Arhaus to anyone looking for fine quality furniture in Boulder. read more

My wife and I stopped by the Boulder store 2weeks ago and found a lovely white rope pillow on close out. We inquired to see if they had a second one and were told they didn't have one but the Cherry Creek store did. The sales person called but got no response but their inventory said they had one. The sales person promised to follow up with the store the next day and get it shipped to Boulder. After 2 or 3 phone calls to the store and 2 fricking weeks of waiting for an answer, I finally get an email saying NO they didn't have one. Come on now - 2 weeks to get a simple answer on wether another store had something in stock????? Crazy. Extremely poor customer service. Will shop elsewhere next time. read more

I have had the WORST experience at this store. Ordered a mirror that was quite expensive - the mirror arrived almost two months later then they said and had multiple scratches - when it was finally replaced a number of months later - there was a scratch right in the middle again and the sales person argued with me that the mirror was carefully inspected and there were no scratches. I will never go back to this store or recommend it. Truly a disappointment as the products/ furniture are beautiful. read more

I have bought large upholstered pieces for two homes from this store for myself, and as I am a designer, send clients here to purchase for their homes as well. The quality of the furniture is very good and pricing is definitely fair for the nice quality. This is a comment on Arhaus corp, not necessarily Boulder. I have never written a review before but felt the need to do so, and wished I would have seen some of these others before. I ordered a patio couch on line--was told that it was in stock. The delivery company called 2 weeks later to schedule a time--but weren't going to "be in my area" for 3 weeks and only deliver on Wednesdays. They would not even give me a time window when the delivery would be there until the night before--no way to make any other plans that day. Then the morning of, they called to push the time back farther in the day--I am still waiting for it. I emailed Arhaus to provide feedback on their low customer service oriented delivery service and never heard back. From the looks of other comments--they don't seem to care once they have your $. I will not be buying from them again. read more
