Run, run far away. I ordered 4 counter stools the end of October. I was told 10 weeks for delivery. We are now up to 16 weeks. You have to really push to get any kind of information about them. I had a unique situation when I walked into Arhaus at Easton. I was furnishing two houses in two different states. Natalie Romano was my in-house decorator that made the experience very stress-free. She helped with the room design, the accessories and the delivery dates. She took my house plans and the rest is history! Of course there were snags but she was available for every hiccup along the way. Coordinating delivery dates to a different state was a challenge but her reassurance that all would work out was enough for me. And it all worked out! My two houses finally feel like homes with all the beautiful Arhaus furniture that is so respected. I was even able to take advantage of seasonal sales that helped the wallet! My experience is worth sharing and I'll be returning to add to my rooms! read more

It broke apart, and looks like it is 10 years old. We only had it for 5 months. We have spent over 4 months trying to get them to take it back and that was their response above. They originally said they would replace it then decided they were not going to do that. No we are stuck with a $10,000 crap sofa. We have purchased thousands of dollars with this company and have had our clients use them for purchases. My husband and I ordered a custom leather sectional, custom leather recliner, and ottoman from this store and it was trouble from the beginning. As other Yelpers who have actually shopped here have mentioned, this place isn't cheap, so one expects two things from the get-go: great customer service and high-quality furniture to match the high prices. The issue with "custom" orders is that you're stuck - no returns unless the items basically show up set aflame on the delivery truck. I was accidentally overcharged by nearly a thousand dollars, was originally told my furniture would arrive weeks before it was actually supposed to bc the salesperson who'd been with Arhaus for years was "confused," and the delivery team then showed up on the wrong date anyway. When they did arrive 12 weeks after I'd ordered the furniture (truly not bad for custom,) the sectional was nearly 2 feet shorter than the salesperson told me it would be. The brochure said the couch was one length but online it stated it was several inches difference. No wonder the sales rep was confused! (I didn't uncover this difference until after I received my furniture and no one at customer service was aware of this, either! SCARY!) The length I requested of this very costly couch was part of the custom build. Furthermore, the leather on the chaise was damaged and required a new cover being sent out. Some other parts of the sofa needed replaced immediately as well, and my new recliner was badly damaged, of a freakishly tiny size, and the lumbar support was non-existent. It was a custom order as well, but only in the sense that the leather upholstery color was special order. It was evident there were major quality control issues with that chair in several areas, so a new one was ordered immediately. Of course I was told that the chair I'd paid for 3 months prior would take ANOTHER 3 months to receive. FOUR months later I received my new chair and the measurements were still way off. I'm 5'4 and when I reclined in it my entire head hung off the back. When I sat in the same chair in the Polaris showroom, this didn't happen, so clearly this was either another chair entirely or their vendor is having major problems. I refused delivery of this new chair along with half the entertainment center they delivered because they sent half the boxes to the store and delivered half on the truck to my home after making me wait 3 months for that item as well. I'd already given my old furniture to someone else, so now I have a huge hole in my living room where the chair was supposed to be, and I'd paid for this sucker 7 months ago. Also, my ridiculously expensive sectional's back cushions are deflating at a horrifyingly rapid rate. The end chairs and center seat are of an odd shape and never had the appropriate amount of filling in them to begin with. Twice I sent emails to customer service and fulfilled their request for numerous pictures in specific lighting and angles to see what I was talking about, only to be sent the exact same flaccid pillow inserts again. I have a 16 year-old sofa that's beat up and cost less than 1/6 of the Arhaus sectional. It's back cushions have more firmness and rebound than the 4-month old Arhaus sectional I have in my living room. The entire purpose of us buying this sectional was to have quality furniture we'd not have to replace for many, many years to come. So much for that. I will say the leather is gorgeous and pretty resilient so far, and most of the customer service people I speak with on the phone are friendly and try to be helpful. The store employees are clueless due to a lack of training that is corporate's fault entirely. The fact is that Arhaus doesn't manufacture any of its furniture, nor do they use any especially fancy manufacturers that validate their high prices. I flipped over the ottoman I ordered with my sectional and the vendor that makes it is the same vendor Joss & Main and Wayfair sell directly through their sites. That doesn't mean it's not a slightly nicer version made just for Arhaus in terms of fabrics used, etc., but I'm sure the same craftsmanship applies regardless. Considering I've bought furniture from all 3 places, I can tell you I'll buy from everywhere but Arhaus again. Arhaus is also not BBB accredited, either. That's something to consider before you drop a significant chunk of change on furniture, which is obviously a major commitment. There is no recourse legally if you're unhappy. These are all things I wish I'd have known about before I ordered my furniture. The only Arhaus exposure I'd had prior was a friend who's house I'd gone to years ago. She has an Arhaus couch that I loved. The Yelp reviews were limited in number and everything in the store was so beautiful and looked to be of such amazing quality. I hope this review helps someone considering buying from Arhaus. Their stuff isn't all bad, but buyer beware and do your homework thoroughly. read more

Loved my purchase-new custom chair for my living room. AWFUL corporate customer service! Was treated like a second class citizen. Even though MY credit information was put on the account for purchasing, NOW they say they are only authorized to speak to my husband, whose name is also on the account! Interesting! I'm giving this 3 stars not because I've purchased anything from here but because of the furniture in here. It ranges from a bit strange to OMG I would love to have that in my house if I could afford it! Which leads me to the next part of this review...they are pricey!!! Even with a sale they are pricey (as in regular price $2000 now on sale for $1700) but if you can afford it you will have some amazing furniture in your home. As soon as I walked past the service desk they asked if they could help and I told them just looking for ideas which was the truth. I just wanted to see what they had and if they could give me any ideas for the redecorating I'm working on. The biggest problem with this store is my champagne taste with a growler of beer budget. We order a sectional on March 7th, and was told it would be delivered within two weeks. Two and a half weeks later we call and are told that we were supposed to have called ourselves to have it shipped? Huh? So they literally ask us if we want the couch we just paid several thousand dollars for delivered? We say "yes", and are then told right before the quarantine that it's in the New Jersey warehouse, shipped from Ohio. We call THEM again and then are told that by the end of the week that it's coming in 2-3 days. So deliveries are decreased but not cut off and we call again after day three. Now, it's allegedly stuck in the warehouse with only the single operator of the warehouse available. So we ask if we send our own moving company if we can pick it up. No. We get an email from Gabriel and call a week later and that's the last of the responses as we are on full quarantine. We are called by another woman and told that we will receive it in May, and no later than early May is when they expect for it to be delivered. May comes and goes and we send out an email and call. Nothing. So we wait trying to be understanding given the pandemic. Now here we are in June call the store manager Chris who is attitudinal and asking if we called the store before because that was our responsibility and we were in a pandemic. Yes but we have updates from every other company bug and small and other large deliveries coming in and out constantly. He wants the order info. We explain how many items of furniture have been delivered throughout the pandemic that we h e received and how now that the delivery sanctions have been lifted as of the week before, we have been waiting to hear from them. Nope! My fault. I had to tell him excuse me twice, for trying to talk over me. Then I receive the email of all emails. The couch was NEVER available when we purchased it, it was allegedly on backorder then, never was sent to the Jersey warehouse - the second lie, and every lie thereafter. Now we are being told that the couch will be shipped to Ohio from out of the country and then we will get it possibly in July unless we want a refund. Sorry not sorry and no response to my last email. I told them that we would have purchased another couch for $4000-$5000 if we could have actually received it, and asked why telling the truth wasn't easier? All of those lies from all of the staff members??!!!! We receive every sales ad twice a week but not a peep about a purchase with a receipt and pending delivery from a store in the Meat Packing District in NYC. Incredible incompetence. No reason the previous reviews are so damn accurate, we know what we need to do. I'm filing complaints with a few agencies AND getting my money back. read more

I love all the pieces I've purchased from Arhaus. Evan, the sales representative I work with, always goes above and beyond helping me find exactly what I need. If there is ever an issue with something, its always resolved quickly. Whenever there is a good sale or something he thinks I may like on sale he'll contact me. The have lots of pieces on display, but you can pretty much customize items in several different fabrics, and color combinations. Definitely my go to local store for home furnishings. read more

Approximately a year ago my husband and I started building a house. Excited about our new project we started exploring our furniture options. We went into Arhaus and we met the best sales associate ever Evan Evan has provided us with great design advice and helped us coordinate all our purchases. Arhaus and Evan were very accommodating about us purchasing furniture and holding the items until our house was going to be completed. It became a joke because we often just went in the store to visit Evan and update him on our project-he was always interested in the progress of our project So our house is almost completed and we have a delivery date for all our furniture we have purchased the past year. We are very excited. We feel so fortunate that we met Evan on that random Sunday and would highly recommend him! He not only assisted us greatly but became our friend! Thanks CB read more

I'm really torn about Arhaus. I've spent over $15,000 there over the past 4 months, as I was new to the area. Their furniture is high quality. A little on the expensive side, but solid and well-made. Arhaus's problem is, hands down, their customer service. Their inventory controls are awful. It takes forever to get things you've ordered, and when you do, they're likely the wrong items. They have no clue how their own finance/credit arm works. You'll hear one story from Comenity Bank (who runs their store credit program) and another one from Arhaus customer service. Arhaus never seems to have any idea when things will be in stock, or which items should be paired in stock (i.e. why sell a queen-sized mattress if the box spring that goes with it won't be available for another month and a half). If you compare Arhaus and their customer service to, say, Value City Furniture, the difference is like night and day. After delivery from Value City, the sales person who sold you the furniture will call that afternoon to check and make sure you were happy with the delivery. At Arhaus one hand has no idea what the other hand is doing. My sister waited nearly 2 months for a /comforter/ she order while in the store with me. Again, Arhaus, your furniture is great. But I will only shop with you again in the future if I have no other alternative. You need to send your store associates and fulfillment associates to your competitors and have them take notes on how a top-notch service organization is run. You can't just rest on your high-margin sales laurels and expect that people will keep coming back to you, no matter how many times your inventory and delivery people screw up. Evan has helped me for years...with everything from furnishing entire rooms, to finding the perfect accessories to complete them, and even helping me find fabulous gifts for my friends and family. I love Arhaus! I've purchased furniture from them for over 20 years . Their furniture holds up. It's well made and upholstered pieces are very comfortable. I've purchased from other stores but after a short time the cushions don't hold up or the wood used is not of quality. I just had furniture delivered today from Arhaus, the delivery gentlemen were polite and careful when placing the furniture. The even took one chair I was replacing to the end of my drive for me! It was gone in 15 min. I will always be an Arhaus customer! read more

I Walked around the store several minutes and was never approached by a salesperson. Once I finally spotted someone she looked at me and walked away I called out to inquire if she worked in the store. She walked over to me and said "Oh, have you not been helped." I informed her that I had not been approached by anyone. I know why I was never approached but I refuse to go there. The assumptions that people make. smh!!! She did suggest I check out the clearance center though. Nice going Arhaus employees offend and indiscreetly disrespect customers when they come into your store. Customer service is horrible. We ordered a table, when it was delivered we got the wrong color. We weren't even told it came in another color. Second table took another 2 weeks. Broken!! Called customer service to get the part because the sales rep wouldn't. After calling, we emailed her to let her know we took care of it ourselves. Her response, " good job!" Another 2 weeks and another table, scratched and broken. Returned it and the sales reps response was "I guess it wasn't meant to be!" There's no communication in this store! I have purchased furniture, lighting and accessories in the past from Arhaus and have loved them. One year ago I paid $2,500 for a Dante sofa from them. It has pilled terribly and the cushions are thin and have not held up. I purchased it as a floor sample (I think it was on the floor for two weeks). Arhaus will not do anything about the cushion or pilling. I do not recommend Arhaus anymore. They have become too expensive and customer service is terrible. read more

I have loved all our furniture from Arhaus but I wanted to leave this review to say that service at this particular Arhaus location has been outstanding. Evan at Arhaus is amazing!! Since the minute we walked into the front door, Evan has been an invaluable help in selecting furniture for our home. I am so happy that he happened to be the sales associate who walked up to us. We are in the process of trying to furnish a new home and so we have bought several pieces from Arhaus and plan to buy more. The level of professionalism, responsiveness and customer care that Evan has shown has been outstanding. We had a few issues with our furniture delivery (not a fault of Arhaus, more so a fault of delivery company) and I contacted Evan and he immediately had the issues rectified. The quality of furniture from Arhaus has been excellent and I think that the customer care provided by our sales associate, Evan, has been the icing on the cake. He contacts me when good sales are coming up and has gone above and beyond to help make the furniture buying process seamless and stress free. I continue to be impressed by the top notch service provided by Arhaus, and in particular, Evan. He is my go to person! read more

Purchased a wood Arvada dining table with metal base in 2014 along with their (worthless) warranty that the salesperson told us covers "everything and anything". She went to great lengths to tell us stories about all kinds of damage the warranty would cover. They must be heavily incented to sell these warranties. The table is beautiful but gets easily scratched and gouged. When I tried to file a warranty claim in 2017, it was denied. I called Arhaus customer service and emailed them pictures (that they requested) and they couldn't have cared less. We own a lot of Arhaus furniture and I can say with confidence that I will never purchase anything from them again. Too bad for them because we just moved and need a lot of new furniture. They used to stand behind their products but clearly they no longer do. Their customer service ranges from indifferent to non-existent. Interestingly, they stopped selling the wood Arvada dining table top. So they must have had a lot of problems with it that they refuse to acknowledge. They only sell it in copper and other metals at this point. Arhaus used to be a great company but it seems like they have expanded too much and no longer care about quality and service after the sale. Shop here at your own risk. read more

I have to say, the furniture quality is great. It is well made, and lasts forever, I'm giving it a 2 because their customer service is really terrible. No inventory, and absolutely no follow through, I had to call them to find out when and where my furniture was. When I asked for someone to follow up with a delivery time, no one did, I called customer service, and the woman I talked to was very rude, and ended our conversation with me having to call them back again!!!
