Before you buy anything of value from this company, research who is providing the warranty on the back end. We bought our kitchen table, dining chairs and bar stools from this company and they hoodwinked us into the extended warranty coverage we paid an arm and a leg for all of it but because the furniture was so expensive, we wanted to take extra precaution to protect ourselves under their guidance. Torrence saw us come in & just stopped by us to ask if we needed help, if there was anything in particular we were looking for n yea a coffee table & thats it. He quickly looked it up for us & took us to it upstairs. He let us browse on our own but stayed by the stairs in case we needed him. He answered all of our questions and even let us know if we found an end table. We wanted to pick up from the store. We could buy it off the floor.. so cool. He had excellent customer service and we ended up getting the coffee table! Liking forward to more purchases in the future. When you go online, it will tell you how long it will take for delivery so please don't be surprised if you're searching for something immediately and it can't arrive for 12 weeks. I shop ahead of time so I really don't even need my coffee table for about 16 weeks so it's perfect. Also, there is another showroom in Carlsbad off of La Costa and El Camino opposite side of equinox parking lot but I can't find it on yelp. We did meet Joey the district manager. I've had the worst experience and it's been a complete nightmare. I've never seen a furniture store that runs their facility like this. It's unacceptable. I am still waiting on pieces that I have paid for eight months ago and dealing with a regional manager however, I'm not receiving my furniture. I've had eight couches delivered that were damaged with holes and notated with the delivery team. I am very unhappy. I have no one to speak to except a woman by the name of Sarah Coller, which is the regional manager of the Northern region. It's been extremely difficult to even getting a hold of her. We discussed a situation and it never transpires however due to that I have lost a lot of patience. I have extremely had furniture pieces returned both on credit cards in little increments where I've had to sit at my bank waiting for my refund. It's been a complete nightmare however, I suggest if you want a piece of furniture from the store, make sure you work with the sales person that gives you accurate dates and times are receiving pieces they have lied to me. They have manipulated me. They have taken my money and returned it slowly and it's just been a complete horrifying experience so please be cautious of of Arhaus Looking forward to remodeling your place and trying to get some nice furniture. I would definitely consider going elsewhere if you want peace of mind. One thing to keep in mind that I learned from this whole experience they do not have their furniture pieces. They actually have them shipped out from manufacturers in different countries and half of the time when they do arrive they're completely damaged. They basically tried to tell you to keep the furniture until you receive the new pieces but that's a way for them just to Buy more time where you won't have your piece up until nine months after the fact, just be very cautious if I were you go somewhere else it's not worth it and the price increases and they decrease according to their little manipulative. You know sales that they have it's just very frustrating. It's very awkward this company should really be considered out of business. They have so many people that are calling in for their furniture that have not been received or damaged and they have no patience for customers like us however, go somewhere else. An honest story. "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." After a previous disappointing experience with Arhaus, I made the mistake of trusting them again. Our initial purchase was for two living room chairs. At the price we paid and given Arhaus's supposed reputation, we expected quality craftsmanship. Instead, one arm fell off just a month in - held together only by glue, not screws. See the attached video- kid you not. Although they sent a repair crew, this quick fix didn't make up for the poor quality. Foolishly, we decided to give them another chance and ordered six dining chairs (including two end chairs) and an additional bedroom chair this season. This time, the problem was delivery, an issue that, based on other reviews, seems to plague Arhaus customers consistently. Our salesperson, Kim, assured us the furniture would arrive well before an important work party. It didn't. We waited two weeks with no communication, only to hear of a "hiccup" in the Red Sea. The vague answer made us question where these chairs were even built - China, perhaps? No subsequent follow-up was provided via email or phone. When I eventually reached another manager, Rebecca, she confirmed that the remaining chairs were now "back-ordered" and couldn't give a clear timeline. Mind you this was after we're told they were en route. The vague apologies, along with phrases like "I don't understand what happened" and "What would you like to do?" were all they offered. Our order was placed on 9/2/24. It's now 11/13/24, and we still don't have our furniture. They claim it will arrive by Thanksgiving, but at this point, I have no confidence in Arhaus or its promises. Don't be fooled by the slick staging or showroom appeal. In the furniture industry, quality and service should be a given, especially at a premium price. I now understand that Arhaus doesn't prioritize either. As a way of recompense, they said they would give me 20% off the price. Two months later I checked and they never gave me the refund on my credit card. We've had 3 attempts to deliver furniture and the first time, the couch showed up dirty and looking used, along with a leather recliner. They ordered replacements that we waited two months for and when they arrived, they were even worse. We also order bedroom night stands that showed up cracked and in pieces (see picture). 5 stars for Sandi and Kathryn for all their help over the last 3 days. After a disappointing visit to Pottery Barn, we walked into Arhaus thinking our somber mood would continue. We'd been in Arhaus before but everything was out of our price range -- but apparently, we are a glutton for punishment. We casually browsed the store and noticed there was an extended President's Day sale on sofas so our search intensified and we began trying the couches one by one. We found one that we were quickly drawn to. When we went to seek assistance, Sandi was available. (THANK THE HEAVENS ABOVE!) She pulled several fabric options for the couch and gave us all the specs with the configuration we'd likely order; straight 96" sofa. The problem with this couch was the longest it came in was 89", which was short of our preferred width. She suggested two other couches; the Ashby and the Brentwood. Both super comfortable but I was immediately drawn to the Ashby. That was THE ONE! It took awhile for the hubby to come around but he eventually agreed. It had clean lines, was more modern and SUPER COMFY! Also, with the sale price, it was within our budget. And the hubby says I can never stay within budget on a project. Ha! We left on Sunday with a handful of large fabric samples to take home. Each swatch has a $50 rental fee so if you check out 6 like we did, you will be charged accordingly. Once the swatches are returned, that money will be refunded. We felt confident one of them would work but unfortunately, it took another visit to nail down the right color. Depending on the fabric selected, it might add to the cost of the couch. After much back and forth, we pulled the trigger on two beautiful couches and thanks to Sandi we could not be more confident and happier with our purchase. Sandi is an AMAZING designer. She's knowledgeable about what pieces work well together, how to blend textures and colors - and overall, has a keen eye for design. We brought a flooring sample to help us make the selection and we just felt she was honest and helped make sure we were making the right selection at every turn. She wasn't trying to make a sale, she was genuinely trying to make sure we were making the right choices. The lead time for the couch is 20 weeks but that seems to be the standard with furniture these days. It will be a long 20 weeks waiting for these beauties but they stressed this delivery time frame so there were no surprises. I appreciated that there was a $199 delivery fee for both couches, not per item. As a new customer with Arhaus, I will update my review in 20 weeks with pics and post purchase customer experience; delivery timeframes, communications and delivery processes etc. Fingers crossed all goes well. If I could give them zero stars, I WOULD. First off, the couch came and did not look at all like it did in the store. The top had been smashed down so hard underneath other furniture and it doesn't look anything like it's supposed to. I understand that -- but when I brought it to their attention -- they flat-out ignored me. This wasn't a cheap couch. Even Jerome's gives much better service than this. AND -- the sales guy talked me into getting the warranty. That is also a scam. They don't cover anything. It's a "fine print" warranty. Don't order from Arhaus! I can't believe this is a HIGH-END FURNITURE COMPANY based on experience POST SALE! All was great up to the point when we ordered $50k of furniture....but it has taken about a year to get all the furniture and two leather recliners that were originally delivered were used and had stains. It took another two months to get replacement chairs only to have them delivered broken (electric didn't work). Another two months to send out repair person who said yes, it's broken and I don't have replacement parts. Another month to find out that chairs were discontinued and I have no means to get new working chairs or a fix from Arhaus. Then Arhaus concierge offers STORE CREDIT ...which we don't want since Arhaus doesn't have equivalent chairs that we would want. Arhaus has, I think, some of the worst customer service practices I've experienced from a higher-end furniture retailer. I purchased an item covered by insurance. It got damaged. Montage, the insurer, covered the claim, and per the agreement, I was provided the option to replace it with a like item from Arhaus. I had many challenges: The chair was part of a matching recliner set and couldn't be matched. There were no suitable replacements. Instead, we opted for something different: A chair with an ottoman to replace the recliner. Both items were under the replacement value. The designated Arhaus manager at the San Diego store (we had purchased originally in Torrance) assured us that it wouldn't be a problem to order the two pieces. After waiting for notification of the order #, I inquired and was informed of a technical problem. Not one person was proactive. In all fairness, the manager at La Jolla (who explained that she was stepping out of that role) tried. But, once it got taken over by the manager of the Torrance store, the tenor changed. He was defensive, snarky, and acted "put upon." Since I wasn't paying for the item, they were out to punish me for opting for a replacement vs. cash. Plus, they had switched to another insurer/ He pointed out that we had been provided the wrong information and that the ottoman wasn't included--this was a month after we selected it. I checked the contract. Technically he was right. From a customer loyalty perspective, it was wrong. We had relied on the information from the original manager that it would be covered. A great deal of time had passed. Plus, he was snarky and defensive. I requested that he confirm with his supervisor, "a very busy, IMPORTANT VP." (As the President of a company, I'm chopped liver, I guess). She denied it. I requested a discount on the ottoman. He asked and never received a response. After following up yet again and hearing more excuses, I canceled the ottoman request. I'm still waiting for an order # for the chair. I guess that by the time I receive the chair (if ever), I will no longer need it. This company has mediocre furniture and terrible service. I'm so in love with Arhaus!! I don't have one in OC so will now come here. I am a die hard Pottery Barn fan. However after my experience on Sunday sold me so fast! We caused quite the scene with a huge dog, 4 kids, 4 grown ups, a stroller. We were trying all the couches and taking pictures of what we loved. It's very hard for me to shop with an entourage but I was taking notes of everything I want at some point. We were gently approached by very helpful and kind associates who let us know they were there but not annoyingly following us. On our way out I purchased a stunning blanket that caught my eye. I have purchased all My blankets at PB all of my life. Never ever buying one there again. The Arhaus one is so soft and actually large enough to me more than a lap blanket. After that I noticed I lost my sunglasses in the store. The store is so huge I knew I'd never find them but looked anyways. The amazing associate that rang me up said for me to give her my number and a description. I knew I never would hear from them again. Not only did I receive a call a few hours later that they found them, when I said I wasn't close and it would be a while before I could get back she offered to send them. I was happy to pay for shipping but they didn't even charge me for shipping. They won me over by treating me like I was spending 20k in that visit even though it was just a blanket. We purchased an Arhaus Kensington table, online, in July of 2022. Expecting durability and quality. This was intended for our Sunday night family dinners. We have taken meticulous care of this table and over a two month span, we have seen noticeable wear on the table surface. We contacted Arhaus customer service for help and we were met with hostility and basically a brick wall. Considering the cost of the furniture and the claim of them being a high end furniture store, we were expecting a different response. They only offered for us to purchase a "touchup" kit. purchased a high priced modern dining table late summer 2021. first delivery (December 2021) was made with the table base damaged. I was told they'd leave the table and deliver another base to swap out. Over the past 8 months I've taken another 4 days off work to await supposed delivery of a replacement base. Even worse, they attempted one delivery with a damaged base; then tried to resdeliver the SAME damaged base a month later. it even had a tag that said "damaged" and another that said "redelivery". This review is a build up of bad experiences and extreme incompetence since the beginning of our purchase with Arhaus. We've spent over $20,000 on furniture with this company, and based on our experience I wouldn't recommend anyone spend a cent. I've dealt with nothing but incompetence and a lack of personal responsibility with this team, from their sales associates, store supervisors, to the logistics company, it has been a horrible experience. Lack of communication, miscommunication, inability to take ownership for mistakes, lack of follow through, and a seemingly entitled and self-righteous attitude towards clients is what I've experienced. We initially didn't want to purchase everything from Arhaus, we fell in love with a couch and a media stand. Once we learned about the Archarge rewards, the warranty, and the quality of the furniture, we figured we might as well just purchase everything from here because of these positives. This is where any positivity stops. In May we decided to move forward with furniture from Arhaus. We wanted to use the archarge card because of the rewards. We were in the middle of escrow on a new construction house and weren't scheduled to close escrow until end of September. No problem, the sales associate Erin Paterson said not a problem, they can change the payment method at any point right up until it's shipped to my home. Of course we want to take advantage of this, we would receive around $1500 in rewards dollars. I receive a call close to the mid of September from Arhaus in Ohio saying that the products are due to ship and based on my requested delivery date (10/1ish) I need to pay in full. I explained to the girl on the phone the Archarge situation, she said "absolutely, not a problem, we can always switch it. Because this is going to the 3rd party shipping company, Berger, we can change it soon." So I paid in full with my original payment method. I've done this many times with other companies and it's never been an issue. I spoke to my lender shortly after making payment, he said everything is good to, that we're on schedule to close within a few weeks, go ahead and get my reward card. So I call Erin the associate, say I'm ready, and she seems confused, and then says no your order is paid in full. I reminded her of the conversation we had, talked to her about the conversation I had with the person who called me and collected payment, and asked what the issue was? Mind you this wasn't some $1k-$5k order. We spent $22,000 at this place. In my mind I would think they would do their best to maybe help me out. She simply says "No, sorry, it's too late, you can get rewards on new purchases, but not on this one" I was so confused. I again reminded her of our conversation, which her response was firm and a "well they shouldn't have called you, and I never told you that." I was referred to Arhaus because of the quality of the furniture and customer service, and I'm being told I was the one in the wrong? I was super confused. I simply asked ok so whats the solution here because she seemed indignant and was basically saying I was screwed. I called the Ohio number, spoke to someone there, who simply referred me to the store, but to a supervisor named Eddie. I emailed Eddie. It took him a few days to respond, but then called me and basically said I needed to cancel my order which would delay my shipment, apply for the archarge, then reschedule delivery. There is now way to change payment method after delivery. What ends up happening is my initial delivery gets delayed because the change in payment method, which should have been a non issue, and if the store was incapable of doing so, taking it to a higher level. I get the delivery confirmation email from, it's a week after we move into our new house. I requested a different date but then heard nothing from the delivery company. I call the store after 5 days and they don't know, they have to look in their system. They send an email to Berger. The response from Berger said that they've tried calling me and I never answer? Erin Paterson put my wrong phone number in. I call her and she doesn't take any responsibility for it. Plays it off. "Mistakes happen" girl you've made a bunch of mistakes so far, including your terrible customer service. Then when the delivery truck does come with my furniture, THEY STILL DIDN'T UPDATE MY NUMBER. The delivery guy leaves and has to come back 3 days later. At this point I'm on the phone with Bruno a logistics guy with Arhaus who's apologetic, but says it all comes down to Erin at the store not updating the delivery company. Eddie calls me because I've complained to Bruno and Bruno sent an email or talked to somebody and Eddie decides to comp my delivery. After all this fuss and nonsense, a $250 delivery fee, which the delivery was screwed up twice now due to incompetence on the store level. I wish we had paid more attention to the reviews before we made the mistake of purchasing furniture from this company. It has been an awful experience and the quality of what they sent to us is poor. When we went in looking for a sofa and several other pieces, we settled on a white sofa which in the store looked great. As you can see from the pictures the sofa, which has light use, is in horrible shape. The material in the cushions appears different from what we saw in the store and the connector is not strong enough to keep the sectional together. We had purchased insurance from Arhaus as we were told everything would be covered but this is not the case. After dealing for seven months with the insurance company and multiple emails, texts, and calls all the claims were denied. The insurance they sold us was also the subject of a report from ABC news in Philadelphia which describes similar cases to ours. When we brought this up to Arhaus we did not get a reply. I was thrilled with my order of outdoor patio furniture from Arhaus. The level of customer service was exceptional. Both Michael and Kat were outstanding in ensuring the furniture best fit on my deck and was in line with my overall style. Both Batman, my little pup of the house, and myself enjoy our mornings on our new Hamptons chairs. These are the most beautiful outdoor chairs not to mention incredibly comfortable! I also got covers for when it snows here in Colorado. The covers are easy to use and help me make this furniture last forever. The pillows are easy to wipe down too. I cannot thank Kat and Michael enough. You have helped in making my condo more of a home! read more

I have purchased a few times online and I do have to say you never really know when your going to get your "in stock" items. Customers service over the phone is terrible yes. However, for some reason that has not stopped me from continuing to purchase online and in store. I always have a good experience in store. I try really hard to purchase in store rather than online. AGREE THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORST IN TODAY'S FURNITURE MARKET! When my husband and I first walked into the store, we loved the design and were so excited to put some Arhaus pieces in our new home. We met with Erin a few times and built what we thought was a friendly relationship. We ordered a lamp online (not through Erin), paid the expensive delivery fee and waited to receive our piece. Because of delays in our remodel, we didn't get to open and install the lamp right away and it turns out the piece doesn't fit in the space. We were past the 30 day return period. We first called Arhaus concierge service and were told that there was no option to return, exchange or get a store credit (even though we would have happily paid the re-stocking fee). We requested to speak to a manager at the concierge service and was put on a never ending hold loop and our call was never transferred. We then called Erin at this store and told her the situation, only to be told that "there is no option" for resolution. They were short, curt and not helpful at all. DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM ARHAUS, even if you work with a designer in-store. read more

walked into this store for the first time last January. I bought a couch. Paid thousands. Also paid for the protection plan. 6 weeks later the couch comes to me in nomad snow (white). They did replace it but I don't recall any apology. when I contacted the woman who sold it to me she told me there was a glitch in the computer and ALL couches had been made in white. They knew about it and did not reach out to me. That was devious. So I waited months to get the couch I actually ordered. What I ordered was charcoal grey. What came was more of a blue Jean couch. That seemed misleading but I kept it. Then today I sat down on my couch and the board broke inside. I've only had this couch maybe two months. I'm not sure about this company. They haven't tried to make amends or reach out to me. It has ALWAYS been me who calls and requests help or updates. I won't buy from them again. read more

So it was that time of life again, furniture shopping time. Not my favorite to say the least. So we decided to check out Arhaus at UTC in La Jolla. I've always passed by and have wanted to go in and browse the showroom, but never really found the right time. Anyhow, we were greeted right away by one of the Designers, Tracy R. He was very polite and interested in helping us, not selling us. As we walked through the showreom we saw so many things that we loved! The furniture and accessories really fits with our collective tastes. He answered any questions we had and he was very patient with us. We ended purchasing several items from there, and have received most of everything so far (our fault because we keep adding). Anyway, we are done for now, and yes it is a bit expensive/pricey but you get what you pay for, the exclusivity, comfort, appearance, and quality is there. Their pieces may not fit everyone's taste/preferences but they fit ours and we are very happy! Again, special thank you to Tracy, and thanks to the rest of the staff there. I would strongly discourage any from purchasing anything from this store. All reviews here about terrible customer service and repeated delays are completely accurate in my experience. Please also refer to their BBB rating of 1.11/5 with 86 new complaints in the past year. I ordered two sofas in January and quoted an estimated delivery of 14 weeks. I am now over 30 weeks out and still waiting. Thus far they have delivered the wrong couch (wrong style, color, size), lost one of my couches, and scheduled and screwed up 2 additional delivery dates. They can't even successfully arrange to pick up this random other person's couch that has been sitting in my living room for over a month. They are poorly responsive to inquires, do not call back despite stating they will, and mostly just seem like no one has any idea what is going on. If canceling my order for a full refund was a possibility (which it isn't) I would do it. The furniture looks nice, but save yourself the time, money, and hassle because you'll probably never actually get it into your house. read more

The worse experience today at Arhaus UTC. I bought a large and heavy metal mirror that was a floor model, final sale, even though it was on sale was expensive for a mirror. ($700) The salesperson was very nice at the time of purchase to make sure I got the mirror and instructed me to pick it up the next day promising that the mirror would be ready to be pickup. The next day I called prior to verify if I could come to get the item, and they told me to go to the store. After arriving I noticed that the mirror was still on the wall, the sales person told me that she wouldn't be able to help wrap the mirror, so she directed me and my 15-year-old son to do it ourselves, to remove the heavy mirror from the wall, without any help, I explained the situation and she said that wasn't the store guidelines to help and wrap the mirror since was a floor model and final sale item. she made me feel horrible for buying a final sale product. The only help I got was a scissor, a tape and bubble wrap, and a dolly that she provided me to work with, I guess I should be very thankful for that! My son and I did all the work and on the way out I was asked to stop and talk to her before leaving the store, I was hopeful that she would send someone with me to the car, but she just wanted to make sure I would bring back the dolly to the store, I asked again for someone to accompany me to the car, to at least to bring the dolly back and make sure I got in the car safe since was heavy item, and they refuse the help, saying again that wasn't the store protocol and told me to make sure to come back and return the dolly myself, after I complained and told them how absurd their treatment was, one of the sales rep accompany and my son to the car to bring the dolly back to the store. I was treated carelessly and was shamed for buying an Item on sale several times. We are extremely disappointed, with the treatment of the customer service of this store, they were arrogant and completed disregard us for buying a sale item.
