It was really disappointing paying over $30 for delivery and only being able to enjoy half the order. I know Crumbl can do much better because when the cookies are made right, they're amazing. Hoping this was just an off day, but quality control definitely needs improvement.

On the left side, there were caramels and almond bark - just a great variety of stuff. The guy hooked me up with a box of 6 for $ 12 for the lady and even offered me a free sample. I tried the creme de menthe, which was excellent - I'm a big fan of mint. The dude behind the counter, Sammy, was super friendly, humble, and genuinely seemed like a nice guy. I'd definitely come back here again for some chocolate from Sunny. If you're in the area, stop by. There's coffee nearby too, so if you like your coffee and chocolates, go for it!

I would stop by every Friday morning before high school. This place is filled with memories and EXCELLENT donuts. They offer the typical yeasted and cake donuts. I love their maple bar and glazed and sugar donuts. Their old fashioneds are great. And I loveeeee their bear claw. My very favorite is a bag of donut holes, they're irresistible! It's a family run business and they treat everyone like family. They have seating inside but they also have a lot of regulars who take up most of the seating, so I usually get my donuts to go, but you definitely can find a spot if you want to stay! It's your typical donut shop, casual, with good vibes. I'm not the biggest fan of the parking lot. But Donut Star (and Baskin Robbins which is in the same little complex) are worth the parking headache. Sometimes you get lucky and the lot is pretty empty, other times it's pretty full. But you can also park in a neighboring lot like the parking at Carl's junior and just walk over. I hope Donut Star stays around for even more generations to enjoy!

I let the shop owner choose the variety of donuts to include in my box, and I ended up with plain sugar, plain glazed, chocolate, maple bar, cinnamon, apple fritter, chocolate braid/twist...all great! Next time I might try the cream filled, jelly, cake, or donut holes! Happy to support local small AAPI businesses, while satisfying sweet tooths (sweet teeth?) at the same time.
