We called on Tuesday prior to attempting a 20 mile drive just to go to their store. Glad we called. So we drove to another town where the owners DID answer their phones and we had an excellent shopping experience. The owner of this shop in Honey Grove needs to get up to speed on better marketing practices. And at a minimum the phone message should include days and hours of operation instead of only a very negative message of not answering the phone anymore. This kind of negative put off can NOT be good for business.

While I don't see myself shopping here daily, I will say that I will never buy a Halloween outfit anywhere else but here. Why would I. We enjoy looking through the store to find the "color of the week" tagged items for the 50% of discount. The color changes every Sunday. We went today, on a Thursday, and the store workers were pulling all of the red tag (color of the week) items off the shelves and racks. I asked one of the workers why they were pulling the items already since the color doesn't change until Sunday, and she replied with, " I do what the boss lady tells me!". I don't think it is fair of them to advertise a 50% off color tag and then take that color tag out of the store four days early. The Goodwill prices are incredibly high as it is, and many people look forward to being able to shop for lower prices. This is the 2nd time that I have gone into this Goodwill when they were pulling the sale colors early.

This amazing store specializes in true vintage ranging from 1940's fashion to 1980's. At the front of the store is where you'll find some of their older pieces, however if you are looking for something "newer" they have a nice selection of 80s Levis and other leather jackets towards the back of the store. I usually don't like to shop at vintage stores because I don't have the patience for it, but this store was so uniquely curated and everything was placed in an order that didn't feel overwhelming. My friend and I were able to find some very unique piece and during the process fell in love with the staff working there. Besides clothing, they also have a lot of vintage accessories as well as home decor. Last but definitely not least, they have an amazing selection of cowboy boots for men. I can't wait to bring back my husband and get him a new pair of boots at this store!

You know, I feel like I rarely step into a vintage shop and think "wow this stuff is actually vintage, cool, and in quality condition" -- but Les Muses is everything you dream of a vintage boutique being. And the prices are fantastic on top of it all. There's clothing and accessories and trinkets and more, from 1920s-era tailor-made, beaded flapper/cloche hats to colorful 1970s-era peasant blouses. There's tons of mannequins brilliantly styled in incredible pieces. A fabulous collection of vintage wedding gowns. Fur coats. Negligées. Stunning hats and scarves and shoes. I discovered a gorgeous deep purple shoulder bag/purse from the 60s while Jon found a 1970s-era button up with tiny rainbow colored pinstripes. We're both really excited about our new pieces! I feel I'd need a special occasion lined up to justify buying most of the dresses and hats I admired, at least until I'm ready (and wealthy enough) to exclusively dress in vintage pieces. In the meantime I'm happy with purchasing a single treasure every now and again. The woman working during our visit was lovely and kind and I could tell she enjoys her work and this beautiful shop.
