When I asked why, they said you had to schedule online for that price. I pointed out that the website said phone or online, with no mention of price difference. ZERO STARS!!! My vehicle was towed from a non-parking area in my complex (my fault). I called Aria to see if they had my vehicle, they did. I went to the address they gave me and when I arrived I called them to notify that I was there. They told me to wait as someone was coming. I called back after a while and they gave me a different address, I went there and called them to tell them I was there. They told me someone will be there soon. I called back ~20 min later and they didn't pick up my call. I called from a different phone, they answered right away and told me 10 more minutes. They showed up 15 min later. The car was towed 1.5 km, they charged me $384. I understand the tow charges, hook fee $145, storage (2 days) $70, dollies $40. What I don't get is the Service charge $55 and Fuel Surcharge $57.52. The lady on the phone was incompetent and very rude and would not explain the charges until I paid. I would not use this company for any services they offer. They are very unprofessional and rude and I feel I was severely price gouged. read more

The worst customer service I have ever been found on my life they were called through BCAA to charge my battery, my car was perfectly parked over marine way in the parking line and they come by in a big towing truck, I asked to charge the battery and he asked me for the car key, he then proceeded to start my car and taking it out from the parking to stop it over marine drive to tow it, I ask him where are you going? Where are you taking the car? He said I have orders to tow the car, I asked him where? From who did you get your orders, I asked for battery charge, he then disconnected the charger, stoped the car in the traffic line and left, leaving my car again out of battery and in the transit line for me to push it back to the parking spot where it was before, not before screaming at my face and pointed his fingers at me, he also took pictures of my car, stay away from this guys. read more

I phoned and got a quote from Aria towing. It was 89.00 plus 3.65/km. The tow was 5.7 kilometers. They billed my MasterCard 174.27. When I called to complain they told me there was a 38.00 charge because the driver went to the wrong address, blaming me for giving them a wrong address. I did not. When I went outside I could see him about 6 townhouses down. He had just phoned me and gave me my address correctly and said he was outside my home. He was not. The numbers are prominently displayed on every townhouse. I was charged 38.00 because he could not read addresses. Then they charged me 18.00 because the Prius sits low. They did not tell me this in the phone though I did tell them it was a Prius. There was a gasoline surcharge (that's fine) and a service charge of 18.00 that I was not told about. 174.00 to go 5.7 kms. Do not use them. If I could give them -10 stars, I would, but it doesn't give me that option I phoned them regarding a tow from Bridgeport Road to Maycrest place in Richmond British Columbia. The girl on the phone quoted me $89 +2 dollars a kilometre plus tax. When I got my bill, it was over inflated My fuel surcharge was almost 50% of $89 quoted by the towing company. Pick up was supposed to be between 11:15 and 11:30 AM. I got a call from the tow truck driver. He asked me where the key was at approximately 9:30 AM. I said what time are you supposed to tow the car?? The dispatch was for 11:15/11:30 AM pick up. Invoice; towing charge $89 km charge $4 a kilometre @ $16 Fuel surcharge $33.61 Dolly hook up fee $40 Taxes gst $8.93 Total cost $187.54 I was quoted $89 +2 dollars a kilometre they never mentioned anything about a fuel surcharge at 48% and they never mention anything about a dolly hook up fee at $40. Those are very important things to mention, but they choose not to do that and they blame it on the incompetence of the employee, not giving those valuable charges to the customer. I would highly recommend not using this company because of their dishonesty. I explained to them I would pay them what I was quoted. Her answer was I will tow your car back to the origin. Not a very good business practice. Now regarding the key, the driver didn't listen to the dispatch or read the time of pick up so now he's got a double back to pick up the key for the vehicle!!!!!!! not professional at all stay away from this company!!!!!!!! He came in a reasonable time, and was very courteous with his customer service skills. Even dispatcher was empathetic, kind and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company to many. Professional and good service. I just didn't follow through with the service as I didn't have a spare tire and didn't want to pay another 200 something (? I'm not sure how much) to have it towed and then have the tire put on. The guy also couldn't give me an exact or near exact quote. Unreliable and Unprofessional service from both Tow truck driver and Dispatch. If you love your car, do not call Aria Towing Ltd. My car needed to be towed to a service shop. I called a bunch of local tow truck services and settled on 'Richmond Towing Service'. They quoted me at $89 and $2.50 per km. Over the phone, they asked and I informed them that my car was a 4 wheel drive. All the other towing services mentioned the dolly charge of $35 but they did not so I assumed they were offering a special price. During the tow, the tow truck driver repeatedly pulled my centre console trying to engage the Neutral. It's a Mercedes and he was brutal in trying to rip the leather out of the gear shifter. I had to ask him to stop and jumpstart my car so I can change gears. Not only that, but when the tow truck driver was inserting the metal portion in front of the front tires, there was a large cracking noise. He seemed concerned but shrugged it off. Next after he was fitted the Dolly on my car and started to drive off, the dolly collapsed, causing another large cracking sound, this time to my rear tires and suspension. The driver called someone from his truck and then later informed me that the incidents due to the shape of the road and the fact that it was not his truck. As a professional tow truck driver, I was not expecting such negligence and unprofessionalism. When it was time for payment, I was surprised by the new charges and called the dispatcher to double check. It was the same dispatcher, only this time, he denied the initial quote and told me the new charges. By this time, the tow truck driver had already driven my car away. TLDR: Aria Towing offers incorrect quotes and surprises you with hidden charges. The two truck driver that handled my car was not careful. He tried pulling the welded leather aspect of my gear shifter, cracked the front end of my car and dropped my car from an unsecured dolly. Please do not use Aria Towing's service as they are incredibly unprofessional, unreliable and rude. read more

I emailed them to schedule a pick up for my old vehicle. They said it would be fine, but asked me to call to book an appointment. So I called the next day and they said they'd send a tow truck in about an hour. Three hours later, still no tow truck. I called them multiple times asking for an ETA, but they kept screening my calls. Eventually the tow truck driver called saying he would be 20 minutes away, despite being on the next street. I ended up cancelling on them. They then called back saying they would arrive in 10 minutes (despite me cancelling on them 5 minutes previously). I had to cancel AGAIN and tell him the I did not want him to come. Honestly, I can't help but laugh at how horrific the entire experience has been. I needed a jumpstart for a dead battery. It was a cold night, so the driver said he would come as quickly as possible. He contacted me halfway to update his arrival time and reassured me he was coming as fast as he could. I appreciated his update and he did come as fast as he could. He was very friendly and sympathetic of the situation and got the car started quickly. The cost for the service was what I was quoted (although I was charged extra for fuel). The next day I realized I had not received a receipt so I called the dispatch and was promptly emailed a receipt so I could get some of the cost reimbursed through roadside assistance. Overall, I was very satisfied with both the driver and the response of dispatch to email the receipt. I would not hesitate to use Richmond Towing Service again and would recommend this company. read more

They charged $50 more than they quoted on the phone (they told me $79 plus $3.95 per km - the garage was 3km away - they added all the additional surprise charges after the fact that they hadn't mentioned). They aLao told me it would be about 45 min, and it actually took them about three hours. I wasn't in a rush, but an accurate window of arrival time would have made it easier to plan around. This company is a huge scam. We had a van stuck in the grass anD couldn't get it out so called aria towing. We then received a quote of 79.99 for towing and 3.50 per km. However we only needed it to be towed out of the grass. The company then told us that it'd be a half an hour wait... Tell me why it took over 3 hours for the tow truck to get here??? I understand that there might be a lot of people who need a tow truck but don't guarantee over ttje oh home that it'll only take 30 minutes... When the tow truck finally came, the driver said it was a "very very hard" job and that it would be difficult. He then said that it would cost at least $350 plus tax. There is no way that towing a van would cost $350. The driver was clearly ripping us off but was trying to justify himself with random excuses. We called back and reported the driver to the company to which the receptionist said that they would talk to the driver. The driver then said that he would walk away with 175 and we agreed since we wanted the van out. Once the van was out (thanks to the truck not the driver), the driver then proceeded to hav up the price again! He wanted $206 but said that he would take off the tax if we paid in cash... I called my roadside assistance. They arranged for aria towing to pick up my car. That should've been between roadside assistance and towing. After he had made a little dense inside of my car he got my vehicle to where I need it to be for the repairs. At which point he unhinged my car and proceeded to request payment for me but my roadside assistance assured that this is something that they take care of. When I had said what the situation is going to be, She said I should've told him that upfront. And he also said that he would not have touched my fucking car and then I shit you should've left it where it was. Dispatch send proceeded to continuously calling me saying that I need to pay otherwise they were going to hold my vehicle ransom at which point I told them too bad you already left the vehicle at the place and the tow truck is gone to suck it and deal with roadside. read more

They were an hour late. no problem. the driver handed me my transfer papers and began to hook up his tow truck to my car. i told him i'd like the cash first before. he told me he had no cash. i told him to etransfer first than before taking my car. he began to get rude saying it's just 200$ you need the money that bad? you think i steal cars. i say well i don't know you or your company i just want to make sure i get a the money for it. he started getting really rude and direspectful. etransfer 200 instead of 250 which i was told i was getting for my car from the dispatcher. calls his "boss" in front of me says im complaining and brings out his wallet angrily and gave me 240 because he didn't have 50$ cash extra. horrible service, i felt very uneasy. and mostly just felt like an emotional punching bag for his bad day he was clearly having. would not recommend and will not use this service again. read more
