Came for the couples massage which was very good! We came in and were seated in the waiting area with some snacks/tea/water. They they took us to the room where we could take off clothes and start the massage. They had heating of the sheets which was very nice. Definitely was not cold. Massage was done very professional, they did not put too much oil/lotion which could be annoying. Music was super relaxing and pleasant. We also got a Valentines gift from them. Took my mom and I today for a 90 minute massage. We decided to have 60 minutes and 30 minutes foot reflexology! We were treated like royalty! First went to a room for water, tea or coffee, they had cookies, candies and protein snacks. We were given hand made soaps to take home. Next the massage rooms, my therapist, Gina, was amazing! I like deep tissue and she delivered. I was visiting from San Diego and will come back here when in town. My mom will definitely return. We will buy her gift certificates for special occasions. First time here and loved it! I got the hot stone massage and the lady did an excellent job. Ive done plenty of massages but the hot stone gave an extra soothing feel. The heat and the stone just great. After she cleaned my back I was sad bc i thought it was over then BAM she lifted my blanket and went down! I hsve NEVER dont a massage where they massage your legs and things ans hip. OMG i felt weird bc I fell asleep while a stranger massaged lmao -1 star for a $5 fee to use cards. I saw all the reviews and was excited to get my stone massage. I have never had a worse massage then what I experienced there! The "masseuse" was not there to relax me. It was so bad I almost stopped it in the middle. She was sooo rough and fast and continued to burn me with the stones. She rubbed them down my spine. Hands yes but stones NO WAY!! I have been getting regular deep tissue massages for many years, which has helped me survive in my sport of bicycle racing. I can say unequivocally that Miriana Day Spa offers a wonderful choice of massage therapists, all who are extremely professional and knowledgeable in massage artistry. I have no doubt that I could not have survived as long as I have in this sport without their assistance. The spa itself is very well appointed and has very comfortable massage and shower rooms. The manager is very friendly and always greets me upon entering and makes sure that I leave with a bottle of water and some sort of sweet, if I so desire. I recently hosted a corporate event where I hosted 8 people and had a lovely lunch catered in from a local deli in the area. It was great. The space was the right size without getting too big and lost for the quaint feel I was going for. As the women went in and came out from their Thai Herbal Massages and Hot Stone Massages they each looked like they had gone on a weeks vacation.. Each participant came out looking more and more relaxed as the day went on. This was such a relaxing experience! Parking was very easy, it was very clean and quiet, and the massage and facial and service was amazing. When you enter there is a common room where there are snacks, fruits, candy, and drinks while you wait for your room. The staff was very friendly and the massage was very relaxing. It was the best massage I have gotten out of so many different spas. I also got the lavender facial and my skin looks so youthful and it feels so hydrated! I went to this spa with my husband last week and we both walked away very happy. First, our appointment was set for 4:30 and they were so accommodating and understanding when we came a half later. They were warm, welcoming, and professional. In fact, I liked it so much that I went back yesterday and treated my niece to not only a massage, but also a facial, and again, we could not have been happier. 5 stars does not seem to be enough for this establishment. I have been going to day spas for over twenty years, so I am very choosy about my spa experience. I need my privacy so I can decompress, reflect , and meditate. Miriana's day spa is the closest you come to feeling as if you are off the grid. The services meet my expectations. I have never had a bad experience at the spa. The prices are decent considering what other people are charging for the same services (which do not measure up in my opinion). I went to Ariana Spa for my first time during Spa week and received a hefty discount. The ambiance is nice and there is privacy. I was able to relax and tune everything out. I enjoy the silence. Monica provided my microdermabrasion facial. It was fantastic. She was gentle and pleasant. she made sure I was comfortable and also offered me water. I LOVED my experience here and am so sad that I hadn't discovered it earlier. I booked a facial for my mom and myself and also got a 30 minute foot reflexology for my dad at the last minute. My mom had the lavender facial while I did microdermabrasion. The owner is the one who worked on me and she was the best. My facial was great and she was so detailed and focused on making sure she did the best job. The entire atmosphere of the place was wonderful and relaxing. Since I had booked my dad's appointment at the last minute he had to come in at the tailend of our appointments and the owner said that since my mom and I would have to wait for my dad to finish his appointment anyway, she would throw in a free foot massage and what was almost like a mask for your feet for us. This place is amazing. I've had facials and micro derms several other places and Miriana Day Spa is by far the best. Everything was just amazing from walking in the door and being greeted to the extremely clean and comfortable spa room. The facial was very thorough and the attention to detail great. I also had a full body message with the most amazing message therapist who was right on with just the amount of pressure. It was two hours of pure bliss! Not professional massage therapists!! My boyfriend and I went here for a couples massage because the nicer more reputable spas were all booked so we took a chance with this place. First red flag, they took us immediately and when we got there it was completely empty. Second, they didn't have us fill out any paperwork. The place looked like a decent nails salon spa, nothing high end and not a particularly relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of Halloween candy on the tables and gift certificates taped up on the walls. But the massages were the absolute worst! The "masseuse" rubbed down my entire body and her "technique" was unlike any I've ever experienced and I've received a lot of massages including 2 years with a licensed massage therapist. At one point she kept digging her knuckles into my neck and I had to ask her to stop because it was so painful! At another point she actually got on top of me while I was laying on my stomach and straddled me to rub my back. During the session another staff member came into our room and carried on a conversation...VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Afterwards I told the staff member who greeted us about my experience and she said my back had a lot of knots and that's why I feel sore. The "masseuse" didn't work on my knots at all she gave me a back rub and a beating! I asked her about the professional experience of the women giving the massages and at first she said they have 10 yrs of experience, then 6 yrs, and then she said she wasn't sure. Now 5 days later my back still aches and I'm out $240 for the WORST MASSAGE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Don't make the expensive mistake I did. If you want an actual spa experience...DON'T GO HERE! read more

Pick another place becouse 1. Some say its not licensed 2. The massage was not all that great. 3. The person massaging me didnt speak english and didnt understand when i asked for more pressure. 4. All i felt was like she was just puting oil on me thats all and lots of it. 5. They charged to much. Only went there because it was a gift card. 6. When i walked in there was no one there,you ring the door and they come to u but really i was the only one there. Pluse i didnt see the massage lady at all till she came in room. She didnt even great herself to come in the waiting room to meet her client. 7. The manager is the only person i spoke to becouse i think my massage lady dosnt speak English but why is the manager asking me questions about how i want my massage if she isnt working on me. 8. I got the scrub and the warm water ran out YES THE WARM WATER RAN OUT, first my massage lady takes salt scrubs fir back but when its time for the front she says after scrubing thst i need to wait five minutes but she never comes back. After not coming back the manager comes back to explain that the warm water went out up stairs and says 5 minutes more, leaves comes back again and says that theres not enough hot water for the lady to do her job but enough for me to do it myself. So ok im not staying with that on so when i wash myself there is no warm water at all. read more

I've never gone to a spa where I wasn't first brought to a rest room/spa area to change into a robe, use the rest room, and relax. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and was immediately sat in a waiting area where I waited 15 minutes in my street clothes, then brought directly to a small and HOT massage room, where I was asked to undress there-- leaving my clothes and jewelry and shoes piled up on the floor. Strangely there was no health form, no waivers, no questionnaire or conversation about treatment/areas of focus/etc. Hardly even a greeting or a hello whatsoever! The massage began and was good for the first 30-40 minutes, but the hotness and tightness of the room triggered my claustrophobia, and then I felt I couldn't breathe. The masseuse tried to get me to relax, which was appreciated, but the remainder of the massage had to be spent sitting up. After the time ended, she very awkwardly 1-by-1 handed me my jewelry, my t-shirt, my button down shirt, my underwear, my shorts, and my socks and stayed in the room. Bear in mind, I was completely naked under a blanked and trying to get dressed without revealing my privates. Of course, I was shocked to be handed my clothing vs maybe given a robe and being escorted to a locker room-- where I would have loved to have showered (keep in mind, I was covered in oils and lotions, and had a strangers hands all over me). Never in the years and years I've gone for massages have I not undressed in a locked room, not showered and relaxed in perhaps a sauna or steam room afterwards... We were supposed to go straight to a fancy restaurant after the massage for my birthday dinner. But certainly couldn't do that with me covered in oil and sweaty from the HOT massage room. I've never ever ever experienced such a factory type feeling without an opportunity to relax, unwind, shower (let alone, put my clothing in a locker beforehand vs putting my stuff on a floor in a tiny massage room. I'm surprised-- given the place has gotten good reviews. Maybe they aren't used to men being there and only have a women's locker room? Even the payment experience at the end-- there's no cash register area of "checkout". The masseuse walked me to the front door and I handed her cash. I foolishly gave a $20 tip on an $80 massage-- since I felt bad about the claustrophobia incident-- but in hindsight I wouldn't have been claustrophobic if it wasn't so HOT in the room. In any case, it was extremely disappointing-- and really depressed me on my birthday. Had the complete opposite effect it was supposed to have, and my poor wife feels so bad about this gift. My husband and I went in for a one hour swedish massage and we absolutely loved it! We have received massages all over NYC and Westchester County and hands down, I can say we were transported to some other universe of pure bliss! The massage therapist that worked on me was a miracle worker and my husband felt just the same about his massage therapist. We both came home feeling so refreshed and relaxed. Also we just LOVE that it's so convenient if you live in the Westchester County area. Reading some of the other comments here, I agree that the massage therapists did not speak very good english, but in the very beginning when the massage therapist started on me I asked her to add more pressure and I know she immediately understood because after that she was spot on! I had a great experience at Miriana. I booked a couples massage for me and boyfriend as a way to decompress after a stressful couple of months. The owner of the spa greeted us and was so sweet. She took us into a room where there were refreshments waiting for us and chatted with us about what we were looking for, what areas we wanted them to focus on, and what areas we wanted them to avoid (if any). She was so informative and explained to us a little about the massage technique they would be using. When we got into the room it was peaceful, tranquil, and just very relaxing. My friend and I decided to check out this spa recently. We both got 1 hour massages. The experience was mediocre. The massage was good, however the masseuse was haphazard and several times she startled me out of my relaxation by banging things around the room as she was pulling out towels, hot stones etc. This felt a bit insensitive given that the whole point of the experience is to relax. The first time I let is slide, as mistakes happen, however she did this about 3 times and each time I was startled so it really disrupted my whole experience. The woman who greeted us, was also the person who collected the payment and the tips. She was pleasant, but seemed anxious and both my friend and I felt rushed after we were done. For example, after massages we went to sit in the tiny lounge area for some water and cookies (It would have been nice if they had some herbal tea, but oh well). We were the only ones in the room. The hostess came up to us to collect the payment twice in 5 minutes, so we got the hint and gave her our credit cards. Then, as we were figuring out the tip to put in the little white envelopes, the hostess came in again, and WAITED for us to put the tip together. This felt very awkward. As if that wasn't bad enough, then she escorted us out to the front door and held the door open, mind you this was last week, during an unusually cold and rainy day. I stopped to grab some hard candy from a basket in the waiting area, but seeing her hold the door like that, just totally turned me off, so we just walked out. I've been to many many spas, and I've never felt so turned off by the service. It felt as if she was just rushing us out. And by the way, as we left, there was only one customer in the waiting area.
