Recently, I attended a party at Ariana South and I will tell you that the food is ok. The chicken, the eggplant everything that comes out of the kitchen was ok. Unfortunately, the party I attended there, the bar staff was incompetent and the set up for the bar was not proper or clean. The bartender didn't know how to make drinks. I don't even think he was a bartender. They had big containers full of soda and beer and they were like scooping it out with a ladle into the cups. That was very trashy. The beer was disgusting. It left a dirty ring around my glass and the mixed drinks were awful too. It's a shame because of the people that threw the party (who were friends of mine) had to pay good money for open bar and it was terrible. I would never recommend anyone rent this place for a party. Once you meet the owner you'll know he's a con man and he doesn't care about your party. He only cares about the money coming out of your pocket. This place is a failure. read more

The location is great! My family lives in Ocean County and Monmouth NJ and some in Staten Island, this location is a perfect middle ground location for our parties . Food was way too salty. People were late to the party because the valet was so backed up. Was told the room fit 75, I had 65 and it was very right. Guests couldn't move around comfortably. Worst of all the family is just downright nasty and arrogant. They lie about compensation that they say was given during the party but in reality it never happened and they wouldn't show me camera footage to prove it. And if you post anything negative on their social media or give negative reviews they harass you to take it down. Totally unprofessional!!! read more

Went there tonight for the NYE party - let me say first this was a cash ONLY ticket- no wonder so people coudnt dispute it on their credit cards. This place was over packed and they were serving under aged kids there. We stood in line 40 minutes for the buffet and many items were out when we got up. I am a family of 6 , 2 kids and 2 seniors. we ultimately had to leave at 10pm due to lack of food and service. The line for an adult beverage was also a 40 minute wait. This was not as advertised as a family NYE party this was a cash only money grab. I had a horrible time and had to get my family McDonald'. read more

At first glance, the place is very nice and has a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there! The 16oz plastic cups were a nice touch as opposed to real glassware. So tacky and unappealing. The salad was plated at the table, probably sitting there for 2 hours, resulting in it being wilted and doused in dressing. It resembled a wet Caesar salad, which was disgusting and tasted more like the lemon rind than the actual salad. Next, we were served penne vodka, and it seemed like the wait staff was just trying to push food out without paying any attention. They were wearing blue hospital gloves, which was off-putting. What happened to white-glove service? The waiter even reached over everyone to serve, with his dirty gloves almost touching my face. Very unprofessional! The pasta was mushy and had zero taste, covered in what seemed like tasteless soup. The garlic bread was delicious and the only redeeming quality of this meal. Our table was never cleared, and when it was time for the main course, the waitress started bringing over our meals while we still had salads and pasta in front of us. When we asked politely for the table to be cleared, she couldn't be bothered and just handed us our dishes, rushing us along, leaving us to clear the table ourselves. The unidentifiable chicken dish was covered in some sauce and mushrooms, resembling a shake and bake chicken cutlet. It was terrible; I took one bite and found it to be cold. The green beans were tossed in salt, pepper, and granulated garlic, and the flavors were overpowering, turning the beans into mush. The potato croquette only tasted like the prosciutto inside, lacking other flavors. Overall, the dining experience was disappointing, with several issues ranging from the quality of the food to the unprofessional service and table management. read more

Attended a cocktail party at Arianas South. Buffet style food of eggplant rollatini, calamari, chicken francese, penne alla vodka and caesar salad, few other stuff I can't remember but everything tasted great. The cake however tasted absolutely awful, it was butter cream frosting and filling and all you tasted was butter no sweetness at all. Room was set up perfect the DJ was above the dance floor on a balcony which gave the extra space for dancing and there was enough room in between tables. Cool place would definitely look forward to coming back. read more

Please Note: This review is for Ariana's South. We recently had a party there and I usually don't have bad reviews to write, but this is something I think future patrons need to read. We had a typical 4 hour party with cocktail hour there, so I'll start off with cocktail hour. We had a little over 100 people to fit in the small cocktail room where there was one bartender helping all of these guests. Also, when guests first arrive, they look forward to cocktail hour, and I heard many disappointed comments about the little food that was served. Ariana's assured us there would be a good amount of food for our guests during this hour, but it seems as if that was opposite. Fast forward to our 4 hour reception where the buffet was opened. I was extremely upset with the quality and taste of the food during the buffet. This is strictly my opinion, however, I felt as if the food was sitting around and put on the buffet table over the sternos where it was not properly heated up. I heard multiple complaints from my guests that the food was cold and bland. The waiters who served and cleaned up at the party are good workers, however, I feel as if they were not trained properly due to poor management. My biggest pet peeve at parties is when water glasses are taken off the tables prior to closing time. We had our water glasses (not other drinks) taken away during dessert. Most guests, including myself like to hydrate themselves with water after having dessert. I believe this is something to be enforced by management and do not blame the employees whatsoever. Finally, what brings me to this unfortunate review is myself, and multiple guests have reported to me a coincidental sickness that may have sprouted from Ariana's. I do understand there is no way to pinpoint food borne illnesses, but I do believe with all of our same symptoms within the same timeframe I may conclude it is because of Ariana's. I will not be having nor recommend anyone to have a party there in the near future. read more

This place is a money hungry sh*thole. Excuse my language but there's no other way to put it. Had a group of 20 people for New Year's Eve with table service. They made us wait outside in the cold until every person on the table arrived- mind you, the GA walked right in?! That's just the start. The place was so over crowded, and our table was thrown together in probably 10 minutes and in the worst spot of the hall. It came to about 180 a head and that included 6 SMALL bottles. No food included. Waitresses were nasty and the floor was an absolute mess with no staff cleaning it. Place smelt like a dump. Not to mention it was at least 85° INSIDE. To top it off they even messed up the countdown to 12:00. Neither or nor anyone I was with will be giving this place another nickel!! read more

Absolutely terrible!!! That lady Debbie should be FIRED would never want her to run my business!! She was beyond rude and nasty, always had to constantly remind her of things we already spoke about. This is a money hungry business and did nothing but hound me for my money, and then took it all when some of my guest canceled on me. Bartender was on phone all night while my guest were trying to order drinks, told me i can't take food home. We're they planning on re-using cooked food?????? Would never recommend this place to anyone looking to have a party. Save your money and go elsewhere, you'll get better service and more for your money :) read more

I had my daughters bridal shower at Ariana's South and I must say the night couldn't have been any more perfect. The food was phenomenal, the maitre-d Joe was extremely welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. Planning with Debbie made it run so smoothly. Just went to celebrate NYE 2019....worst New Years EVER! So packed, it was dangerous....100% ILLEGAL. 2 Bartenders in the whole place, couldn't get a glass of water. 1 bathroom. 2 Valet workers? Most horrible experience. Waiters couldn't clear the tables. Dance floor was an ice skating rink...people falling left and right. Little kids that were getting pushed around. Food was sub par. Clams on the table tasted like they just came out of Jamaica Bay! We were a table of 14, and one was more miserable than the next. I will never return or recommend the place. Ariana's New Year Resolution should be to get her act together. Shame. read more

Attended the NYE 2019 at Ariana's South and had a horrible experience. You had to wait at the bar to even get a glass of water- there were only 2 bartenders for hundreds of people and the bartenders could not keep up with drink requests- we paid for an open bar and you received drinks that were half filled. They completely overbooked and nobody could move. You had to carry your plate of food through a hallway, across the completely over-packed dance floor to get to your table. No dessert was provided. Would not recommend to anyone. This place was a fire hazard and nobody was able to get drinks. Not having water readily available was a disgrace. read more

My wife and I recently attended a wedding shower at Ariana's Loft. Very elegant setting only made better by the outstanding food and friendly staff. I would rate the food higher than 5 stars if I could. Seriously great food! Best meatballs I have ever had. I highly recommend for special events or your catering needs. read more

I came here for a Baby Shower recently. They had the shower in a nice size room & had a buffet. The food was pretty good. They had penne vodka, veggies, mozz & tomato, really good caesar salad, eggplant parm & calamari. The only gripe I had about this place was that it was absolutely FREEZING in the room & my table was right near the vent. Other than that, I had a very nice time. read more

Attended Ariana's south on south bridge street for New Year's Eve 2019. A party of 12 $1800. I never had a worse time anywhere!!!! I was truly embarrassed that I brought my family here!! We were packed in like sardines. There was no way this was legal. There were tables around the perimeter of the dance floor and tables against the wall., we were against the wall and it was nearly impossible to get to and from the table. Buffet was limited they supposedly put clams, shrimp and other platters on each table but we never saw them. Workers couldn't even get to the tables to clear plates. Open bar? Yes, but good luck getting a drink with hundreds of people trying to get drinks and only 2 bartenders, it literally took at least 20 minutes to get a drink. The dance floor was so crowded people were spilling drinks all over the dance floor and nobody ever came to clean it, there were literally puddles everywhere. When we tried to complain to "The manager" all she said was " I'm not the owner don't yell at me" this was truly the WORST New Years ever and will never return not even for a party. read more

Was recently there for an engagement party at Ariannas south bridge st.the food was fresh and delicious. The shrimp was huge and delicious. The eggplant rollatini was one of the best ive ever tasted. Besides mine lol. stuffed mushrooms were awesome.the pepper steak was off the charts. The penne vodka was soo good.and those stringbeans ummmm the best..to much more to list.overall if your looking for a Manhattan feel go check out the hall.also it is family owned and managed by family. The food was very good but the service was terrible. They also could not wait to close up the buffet. I have been to a lot of parties with buffets and never experienced this before. The parking is terrible at Ariana's South. They rushed the serving of everything so that the party ended an hour early. That did not offer guests a second cup of coffee or tea. One guest complained about the taste of her seltzer and was rudely told that is what you ordered That is how all the guests were spoken to by a man that was either the manager or owner. Would never use this venue again or recommend it. read more
