Goodby Eddie Bauer; hello Ariat! Dang, this store and its WORK version across the parking lot escaped my attention for too long. Did not even realize the brand's presence. Interestingly, I'd been looking to update my wardrobe for about 8 months and couldn't find anything that I wanted...Macy's backstage, Lands End and others. Just kinda similar quality and nothing unique or interesting to me. That changed here. The cloths are next level, far above expectations. They are meticulously crafted incorporating, different design elements that increase ventilation. Some of the shirts even have a built-in microfiber cloth on the inside bottom of the shirt to clean your glasses with. The stores are beautifully stocked.... Roomy and well staffed with top-notch individuals. As usual, waiting and continuing to keep my eyes peeled has paid off. Located in the Garden Village shopping center right down the street from where I live, the store is located between Jack's urban eats and Starbucks. Whole Foods is just a couple hops away. The materials and prints are just amazing and their online store is crazy filled with variety.... I picked up six shirts and a belt. All of them uniquely designed of a high-quality and unlike what I was seeing elsewhere in the city/online. Just thrilled to finally get quality clothing off my list! And their work pants! Some of the most desirable guys stuff around! The stores are spotless, tightly organized and roomy. IF you sign up online, you can order with free shipping and returns, too. New customers get 10% off for one day. Of note it that the Large shirts here actually ARE large, bigger than what other brands call large. So, be careful..as they run large. Good! I recently visited Ariat to pick out some new footwear and left with a pair of shoes and super comfy slippers. The experience was a bit of a mixed bag, so I'll break it down. First, the associate who assisted me was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful in guiding me through the options and helping me make my final selections. Her friendly demeanor made the shopping experience enjoyable, and I felt well taken care of. Her excellent customer service is one of the main reasons I'm giving this review three stars. When I first walked into the store, I was greeted warmly by other associates, which gave a great initial impression. However, things took a turn when I noticed a manager and another associate staring at me in a way that felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. It wasn't just a casual glance--it was the kind of staring that made me feel like they were suspicious of me, as if I was going to steal something. The staring was so persistent that I felt the need to turn around after making my purchase to make it clear that I noticed their behavior. It's disappointing to feel judged or scrutinized as a customer, especially when you're there with honest intentions. While I appreciate the helpfulness of the associate who worked with me and the general friendliness of the initial welcome as well as the cashier that rang up the sale, the unprofessional behavior of the manager and other associate overshadowed the positive aspects of my visit. There is no reason for anyone working in a customer service role to make customers feel unwelcome or uncomfortable. Ariat, please consider providing additional training for your staff--particularly your leadership--on how to ensure all customers feel valued and respected; the behavior of the manager and the other associate needs to be addressed. read more

Terrible customer service. Attempted to return jeans WITH receipt and was told I could only exchange for equal or greater value. Did not have time to try on other jeans and asked if I was able to come back over the weekend, was told yes by employee (Angie) Returned to store that weekend found jeans that were of greater value and was fine paying the difference and was then told by employee (Garrett) I could not exchange. I explained what Angie had told me (who conveniently disappeared when I entered the store) I was told by Garrett it depends on who I get. I ended up having to call corporate who IS going to replace my jeans, and not even requiring the receipt. I will NOT return to this store, will gladly make all future Ariat purchases from Boot Barn who has amazing customer service! Also website and receipt return policy have conflicting information. read more

I went to the newer work boot store in the same shopping center and got help and found exactly what I was looking for. I had just stumbled upon this store after visiting my son at college. I had been looking for a particular boot and all I have near me in Merced is boot barn. I will definitely make the trip here for boots from now on. Wish I could remember the two that helped me . One man with a beard and a taller women. Both were awsome and very knowledgeable about there boots. I'm glad I found this store. read more

The first thing I noticed was the wonderful smell of leather. It's a classy country chic store. Yes, this place is pretty expensive. However, I did enjoy shopping here for my boys' boots and some tops and skirts for myself. The staff is really friendly and helpful. My boys and I were treated with respect and the staff was patient and attentive with us. The boys enjoyed roping the practice "toro". The quality of the boots is great. The sneakers not so much but then again this is western wear. We will come again to purchase our boots and farm gear. read more

So I'm hoping this is the Fig Garden location In Fresno.... These people were EXCELLENT!! I want to say my family was there Sat. June 22nd ( if I'm wrong it was June 29th) anyhow we walked in there, & believe me, we don't look like we shop western wear!!! But we bought bread at the bakery, walked some shops, when we entered this store, we felt like we've been there everyday of the year!! The associates there were just the sweetest (males included) they found my wife an awesome denim dress & we ended up buying my teenage daughter her first pair of Ariat cowboy boots! Honestly we could've stayed there the entire day just for the fact how welcomed we felt. The dress was great deal & the boots are of great quality. Just real good shout out to those there that day. This is absolutely the WORST Boot/Shoe Company on the Planet. They will take your order and money without debate, but when it comes to delivery, they will cancel your order multiple times and promise you they will fix it but cancel it over and over and over again. I've tried to order the same boots (3) times and have tried no less than 75 phone calls but get passed off to another customer service agent that will need the entire story repeated. I've had multiple managers involved and not one can follow through on their promises. This is the Shadiest Company I have ever encountered. read more

This is a 5 star review but only after I went back to this store in the evening today (Dec 10,2021) I went this morning shortly after it opened. I wanted to get my bestie some boots for Christmas. I saw an employee and started asking questions. I immediately felt I was out of my element. Usually I give zero F**ks and continue to do what I set out but I was so turned off by the associate I walked out of the store and felt profiled. She was not kind or helpful. I believe her name was "Christina" Don't quote me. Anyway my best friend convinced me to go back this evening.... Clearly she wanted her boots for Christmas. I'm so glad I did. Ricardo helped me. He was kind, funny, a very good salesman and patient. I even ended up getting a pair of boots for myself. There were 2 other younger gals working also. They were all Hispanic. 95% of the evening clientele was Hispanic also. In the morning time, it was Caucasian. The vibe was entirely different and welcoming. That morning worker needs to treat everyone equally. I won't ever go to that store in the morning during her shift again. A manager really should pull her aside and let her know, to watch her attitude and bring herself down from that make believe pedestal she's on. I would normally give this place a 5 star rating. Yet, i am DISAPPOINTED to say the least. I went in a couple weeks ago to purchase a gift card for my father in law. While I was shopping around the customer service was great! A taller girl with darker hair helped me pick out some cute boots and a tee shirt. While we were at check out, I asked if I could purchase a gift card. The darker hair girl rung my items and she called over a shorter Hispanic girl to make sure she did it correctly.(I believe the taller girl is new) The Hispanic girl coped a HUGE attitude towards the young lady that was helping me. I went in yesterday to pick up some women's composite toe boots (super hard to find - Boot Barn only had 2 options and this store had at least 3), and Christina helped me as soon as I walked in, even though she was working on something. She was so knowledgeable and helpful, and even cleaned the boots I came in with while I decided which new boots to get (at no charge)! I will definitely be coming back, and while I'm already partial to Ariat (they're the only type I own), I'm definitely skipping the bigger stores if I can! I went into this store a couple of days ago as a first timer. Very rude customer service. I was not greeted nor asked if I needed help with anything. I didn't catch the associates name. Before I walked out, I noticed they had the Ariat boot remover. I purchased it for my boyfriend. All of the boot removers were labeled $20. When I went to pay at the checkout, my total came out to $33 and some change. I told the associate they were labeled $20. Another associate had the audacity to tell me that those were not their stickers (like if I placed a $20 Ariat label on the boot remover.) The first associate, with attitude, asked me if I wanted it for $20. Of coarse I said yes because that's what the sticker said. Eventually another associate walked over to the boot removers and removed them all from the shelf. It's obvious someone is not doing their job right. Never will I go back to that location. read more

Introduced by the boss in circle n saddles. Cuz I really want to real leather paddock boots, not just synthetic leather. The sales is very patient and ask if I am qualified for any discount. And they do give good discount for police officer, firemen and military. I got 25% off on my paddock boots. And besides I bought a shoe polish with the price 4.5 bucks. Really worth it. But their breeches are kind of expensive. Over $150. Unless you are going for the show, just buy the cheap breeches and half straps in circle n saddles in Tulare. read more

I was visiting my daughter this weekend and we decided to do a little shopping. We ended up at the Fig Garden Shopping Loop and came across this wonderful little shop... Ariat is a well known brand of western ware and this shop doesn't disappoint! It's cozy, welcoming and has a wonderful selection for men, women and kids; boots to belts, jeans to dresses.... And the staff couldn't have been more accommodating, friendly, helpful. Love the clothes and so grateful to the 2 wonderful women (so wish I remembered their names) who made sure we hade everything we needed and more. Horrible customer service and very discriminative. I went in after work to buy some new work boots because mine were trashed, they immediately started helping others that came in after me, I'm not sure if it is because I was dirty from work and had tattoos or what but they called security and he stayed watching me until I left and wen I drove to Starbucks he watched me there as well when I asked him what the issue was because I felt he was following me, he stated that ariat called security on me. I understand that is more of a Caucasian store and I'm Hispanic with tattoos but I work with a ton of folks of different races and we all get along well, they need to be a little more mindful and possibly throw in a few employees of different races in there that was just ridiculous and slightly embarrassing being I work hard for everything I own and would never steal from a establishment that has worked hard to build their brand. Just disgraceful I will never give that specific establishment my business again and am in contact with corporate. read more

As a brand I will say the quality has gone down HOWEVER they stand behind their product. I have a pair from 2013 that is still kicking strong. I recently bought a pair 6 months ago and the heel began to separate. I didnt have my receipt and they replaced the boots under their warranty. Terrible customer service. I almost felt like I was purposely disrespected like they do at "Dick's Last Resort" except I wasn't having fun. The experience was by far one of the most challenging experiences I've ever had at a retail store. I was looking to purchase multiple pair of boots for my family, although I was treated as if could not afford them.
