Ariel worked an absolute miracle on my designer wedding dress. He completely removed multiple deep, set-in stains (6+ months old) including espresso, water marks, dirt, and more. I wish I had a before-and-after photo to show just how stunning the results were. When I picked it up, I nearly cried; I was convinced the damage was permanent after waiting so long and had lowered my expectations. But Ariel exceeded them in every way. I had a great experience with Ariel's with my wedding dress. They steam cleaned it prior to the wedding and it looked pristine. At my wedding we had Indian food (I know- so dangerous in a white dress!). During dinner I got yellow sauce on my dress Also at some point my dress dragged on the floor and got more Indian food stain on the bottom of it, as well as just overall dirt from the dance floor of hundreds of people's shoes. I then waited over a month to do anything about my dress after the wedding because life was chaotic Ariel is a magician and cleaned my dress so perfectly it looked like time was rewound to pre wedding. Drop off a skirt to be altered. I came back a week later when they said it would be available and was told they couldn't do it because of the style. They didn't call me before to tell me this and said they were too busy. Also the skirt was just in a ball on a shelf. If they would have called me I could have taken somewhere else in time to be able to wear it to the event I was attending. read more

I've had challenges finding a great dry cleaner i on the east side - Ariel is very good but it is frustrating that no cleaners in the area have posted prices - either online or at the store - they will verbally tell you but I think it should be apparent for this type of business - not the same as a law firm or other high priced service - you are paying by unit so you shouldn't have to ask. They aren't the only ones that do it so maybe it's a WA thing - all prices listed in Southern CA for every cleaner I've been to. All that being said Ariel's is really good, really friendly and the best I've been to so they have my business - the one star subtracted is my principled stand against the WA dry cleaner industry for not disclosing prices visually. This is my favorite dry cleaners! I don't usually dry clean very many items but recently brought my wedding dress here to be cleaned and preserved. The customer service is great, very friendly! And the prices are affordable but not scary cheap. They do a great job. My dress is beautifully boxed! I did a lot of research before deciding to bring my dress here and I am so glad I did. It is definitely pricey to have your dress preserved but it was worth every penny having it done here, and most other places still cost almost twice as much. I won't be having anymore wedding dresses to bring here but I will bring all my other dry cleaning in the the future and will definitely recommend it to future brides. Thank you!! read more

Nothing but good thoughts about this place. I don't normally need to dry clean clothes so three days turnaround isn't a big deal for me. Came here to get a suit and dress shirt cleaned for a wedding and had such a great time, I came back after the wedding to have my stuff cleaned again which I normally wouldn't have done if not for the fact that I partied too hard. I've been hunting for a place to get some minor alterations on clothing (~4-5 pieces). I called up this place to get pricing and someone picked up the phone (I heard background noise). I recently switched to the dry cleaner as the location is very convenient. I'm pretty picky about my clothes and therefore, pretty picky about caring for them, and so far, I'm very happy with the service at Ariel's. The owner is the only person I've dealt with, and he's pleasant and personable. He also takes time to looks over the clothes and note issues, such as on one of my coats, a lining that might need repair, and on a blouse with some unique buttons, checking to ensure the buttons were securely attached. It's great to see that kind attention to detail. Everything has come back to me in tip-top shape - looking nearly new. BEST CHOICE FOR CANADA GOOSE/DOWN COATS. Since moving from a colder part of the world, I've been searching for a reliable place to clean my full-length Canada Goose coat. Even in the east, you have to be careful where you take your Canada Goose because some cleaners will discolor the fabric when they clean it. Ariel dry cleaners was fast, competent and very affordable. We got one full-length with hood and one Nobis down bomber jacket cleaned for $68 in total. That is an excellent deal. Always remember to detach your fur ruff before taking your coat in for a cleaning. Fur should not be dry-cleaned and can be cleaned only with a damp cloth. read more

By far the best drycleaner I've ever used, I was recommended Ariel by a coworker who had moved to Chicago from Kirkland. "Wish he would open up a shop in Chicago" - bold statement...surely all drycleaners are the same, I thought. No..definitely not the case. 1) Ariel's prices are competitive. Probably too much so, don't let him know, but if he raised them 50% I wouldn't blink. 2) The turn around time is impressive. I drop off on a Tuesday it's ready Thursday. Always. I imagine the longer turnaround time the cheaper it is for them, Ariel is always fast. 3) I dropped a Goose Down comforter off with Ariel that had been in storage for years, it was one step away from being thrown away but I decided to try Ariel...that comforter is like new now. 4) He's just a great guy. After using him for 9 months, I mentioned a friend of mine had recommended me, said his name and where he worked, and although Chris hadn't been in for a few years, he remembered him, and more impressively, remembered Chris' daughter had one time brought him a jar of jelly for christmas 6 years ago. I don't trust dry cleaners that don't put the cost on any of their receipts. We tried them for the first time and since they didn't have the cost on my receipt when I dropped it off, which I'm not used to, I asked the lady how much it's going to be since I have to budget that. She said $65. But when we picked it up today, the guy charged me $90! WTF? And again, even in my final receipt, there is no itemized cost for each piece of clothing. WHAT A RIP OFF!!! Best dry cleaner in town! We moved to Kirkland last summer, I've tried several dry cleaners in the area, but I was never happy with the outcome and that's when I decided to try Ariel's. Stay away from Ariel's Fine Dry Cleaning. This was my first visit fulled by reviews. I brought couple suits, jackets and pair slack. When I checked my slack at home I found that it was punctured in two places with big hole. It was obvious that some process or somebody did not use tool or something correctly. I brought it back and let owner know. First he looked at me and said I am not aware but it was like this before. I know that this is not true since I wore it maybe 2 times and examine all of my clothe prior to brig it to Ariel's. We talked and after some time he offered me to compensate loss. After some negotiation came to amount but I was shocked when he said that there is no way he can compensate it in a cash. I don't want his credit since after what happen I will never come back as well as I will make sure that everyone from my Corp will know of my experience.
