Decades old relationship lost to POOR SERVICE!!! I have done business with Aries Spas for 20+ years, bought several spas and always received great service from them....UNTIL NOW. On a recent service call, I was told I needed to have new wiring ran to my spa before they could install a new control panel (est. $399), charged $120 to tell me that, and said the $120 would be applied to my repair once the new wiring was installed. Paid $160 for electrician to come, tested wiring and circuit and was told the wiring was fine! After electrician was here (two days after initial service call) called Aries for return service call and was initially told that now I would have to wait 3 weeks for repair. After some back and forth fussing, Aries manager, Chris, said that they could do the repair in three days and the cost would be $715 because I would need additional electronic components in addition to the control panel (not stated by initial service tech) and only $75 of the previously paid $120 would be credited toward the repair. As I disputed the cost and handling of my repair, I told Chris that I was a 20+ year Aries customer and had never had these issues and would locate another reputable company for my repair; Chris was rude and hung up on me! read more

I purchased my Aries spa several years ago and for some reason I have found that I don't use it even half as much as I did my other spa by a different manufacturer. There are several reasons for this but the biggest reason is that my Aries Spa is made and designed for a 6 foot man. Because of this I can never totally relax in the lounge chair and in all the other chairs the jets are just off the targeted body parts. I think the spa was built well and I've had no problem with the jets it's just that it wasn't made for my 5'7'' body.....unfortunately. read more

I called Aries in Rockwall to come look at my spa. They told me they charged a $45 trip charge so I said ok. The tech came out there without any tools to fix the issue. He even told me that he didn't come prepared. I turned on the hot tub and he immediately saw that 2 pumps were out. He didn't put a hand on the tub but proceeded to inform me that he would have to order the pumps and I was responsible for a $72 fee for an hour of labor on top of the $45 trip charge. He didn't want to charge me but the owner told him too. I asked to speak with the owner, who after some argument, agreed not to charge the $72. Fast forward a few weeks later...I called to get a total for everything because I was ready to get the spa fixed. The owner didn't want to give me the info since I had refused to pay the hour labor fee. He wanted me to pay again to have someone come out and get the part numbers. He begrudgingly gave me the total after I explained to him I was trying to give him business. I asked him if he treated all of his customers like this? He said he wouldn't stay in business if he just charged the $45 trip fee and that I was the one that was rude because I wouldn't pay the hour labor fee. Long story short...Don't use this business unless you like dealing with a rude SOB that doesn't know how to talk to customers. read more

We have owned our Aries Spa since 1998! A few hot tub covers later, refinishing the exterior every few years, and one circulation pump later, we are still using our spa on a regular basis. Amazing. Hard to say much more. Had a hot tub at our old home in another state, decided to leave it as the company we bought it from said not to transport it. Purchased our new home without a hot tub and almost immediately started to search. Looked at MULTIPLE models and many locations/shows. Did a great deal of research, then happened to casually ask someone in the pool business. His response, "stop looking and go see Aries Spas -- don't even consider buying from anyone else." We are glad we did. Traded a few e-mails with Lori, then went into the showroom and met Mike. Like others have said "no pressure." We started talking to them in November, made the purchase in April after Mike referred us to a great electrician. Mike was so patient in explaining all the options, made recommendations, but definitely had our interest and budget in mind. Delivery and install couldn't have been smoother. Pete and his team were fabulous. Did a great job of talking me through the differences between my old hot tub and this one. Talked about what was important to maintain long-life, maintenance, etc. Everything was flawless. We could not be more pleased. I believe we got much more spa for our money this time around. I scheduled an appointment for 7/24/12. During the phone call I asked how much it would be since he told me the parts were under warranty but the labor was not. He said "$35 to come out and fix the problem." After the technician temporarily fixed the problem they tried to charge me 72.50 more for labor. I had to call and get the manager involved who finally gave in and only charged me $35. The next day I checked the hot tub and the pump was not working again. I tried to get them to come back down and they tried to start collecting the $72.5 again and refused to send someone down. They guy on the phone had the nerve to say that it was working when the technician left so he had resolved the issue even though I had already told him that not 24 hours later the problem had returned. This is the second problem I have had with this horrible company. One of the headrests broke off within the 1 year parts/labor warranty that came with the hot tub. They tried to tell me that constituted normal wear and tear and tried to charge me for the headrest. I had to talk on the phone for an hour with the manager who was insulting, rude, and constantly interrupting. She finally sent me the headrest. read more
