He did not try to upsell us, like some of the other companies that came out to bid us did. We, unfortunately, were on the receiving end of mother nature's wrath shortly after our pool was dug, but before gunite, which resulted in structural collapse...twice. Bobby's crew had to come back out to re-dig and reinforce more than once, and he didn't as us for any more money! We made a couple minor changes along the way, and Bobby was very accommodating. Anytime we'd reach out with questions, he'd get right back to us. He maintained communication with us throughout the project. Now that our project is complete, we couldn't be happier with the results. Bobby even personally came out to walk us through the pool startup and maintenance. We definitely recommend Signature Pool and Patio if you are looking for a genuine contractor, that isn't just going to tell you what you want to hear, has reasonable pricing, stays involved during the entire project, and won't disappear on you the minute you hand over that last check!

We hired Mr. Bobby and his company (signature pool and patio) to remodel our pool…read more While the remodel itself was completed quickly, we were disappointed that we had to clean up after the crew once the work was finished. As soon as the pool was refilled, we immediately noticed blue spiderweb-like marks in the plaster. I brought this to Bobby's attention, and he stated he would stop by to inspect it and notify the plaster crew. Unfortunately, nothing was ever done to address the issue, and our attempts to communicate with him were repeatedly ignored. Further, Bobby also strongly recommended that we use his cleaning crew for the weekly pool maintenance, stating it would improve the outcome of the plaster and help maintain the warranty. We agreed and hired his service. However, within a few weeks, we noticed the plaster beginning to look dirty and discolored. We attempted to brush and clean it ourselves, but the staining would not come off. Once again, I contacted Bobby, and once again he said he would come take a look , but he never did. Over time, the problems continued. A few months later, the tiles began breaking apart. We sent emails, made phone calls, texted, and provided photos, but received no response. Nearly a year after completion, Bobby finally came out, only to charge us again to replace the broken tiles. Unfortunately, within two months, the repaired tiles cracked again, and after that we never heard back from him despite additional attempts to reach out. The biggest issue here is the lack of quality assurance, accountability, and follow-through. We invested a significant amount of money into this remodel and did not receive the quality product or customer service we were promised. After doing additional research, it appears that when problems arise, ignoring calls and failing to respond to customers may be a pattern with Bobby and his company. This experience has taught us to be far more thorough when researching contractors before hiring them in the future. Needless to say, they do not clean our pool anymore!

Initially, your team was very helpful, which gave us confidence in continuing to work with you. However, that confidence quickly faded after we began discussing a quote for refinishing the pool surface and installing a chiller/heater. I first spoke with Landon, who provided an estimate for the refinishing and mentioned the chiller/heater option--something we were interested in pursuing. Landon later sent over a quote of $4,000 for the chiller/heater installation, which we agreed to move forward with via text. Unfortunately, it took nearly three days to receive a response. When the revised quote finally arrived, the price had increased by $527, but we were still willing to proceed. I requested an itemized quote to better understand the breakdown of costs. Despite clearly explaining what I was asking for, we never received a proper itemized estimate--only a single total amount, even after multiple follow-ups. At this point, frustration was growing. I even texted Landon asking if it's always this difficult to do business with Pool Stop, which prompted a call and apology from him. He mentioned that Harvey, the owner, would visit the property for a site review. Harvey came by, inspected the setup, and said he would provide a final quote the next day. Five days passed with no update. When Harvey finally did call, the final price was $5,177, nearly 25% higher than the original quote. At that point, we decided not to move forward, as the inconsistencies and lack of communication left us with serious concerns about Pool Stop's professionalism and reliability. As someone with decades of experience in sales, I've always believed in standing by a quoted price, even if a mistake was made. The way this process was handled felt disorganized, unprofessional, and misleading. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Pool Stop to others. I hope this feedback helps your company identify where communication and accountability can be improved for future customers.
