I honestly feel that giving this company one star is giving them too much credit. They are…read moreextremely unprofessional and very unorganized. Not only did Megan and Tamyra Tillman both lie about trying to contact me but they were not helpful at all on trying to resolve any issues with me getting managed care for my loved one when we needed them the most. They gravely lack empathy and dropped the ball when it came to helping me get the help for my loved one. Tamyra didn't reply to emails, respond to Voice-mails or return calls. In fact, she placed me on hold for 90 minutes at the end of her workday then completely ignored my emails when I tried to follow up with her. I feel as though they took our personal information for nothing and I would never refer their services to anyone. This has been a horrible experience. They are clearly overwhelmed with their workload and aren't able to provide proper effort to assist their clients.

Addus is a caregiving agency for disabled elderly people or other disabled people…read more As someone who went through their hiring process- One person is in charge of new hires and all of the paperwork. Understaffed, over booked and always hiring. Never go here to get a job. The 1 lady in charge of new hires is sloppy, slow and brain-addled. It took 3 weeks of sending, resending and resending the same paperwork via email to this lady because she keeps misplacing it? Not checking her spam folder? I have no idea. I went in for "orientation" and she handed me someone else's new hire paperwork to sign. She couldn't be bothered to read the name on the file? Then they send you to Oak Brook for fingerprinting. The lady who works there is sloppy, too. My fingerprints were rejected because she rushed through the process. I finally called after 3 weeks of waiting for Addus to get their stuff together and was like, "I am withdrawing my application". Two weeks later, the manager calls and asks if I'm ready to get a client. I told her that I told the other lady that I withdrew my application. She didn't even bother to tell the main manager that she lost an employee?! Also, if you don't have a car, you'll be put on a waiting list for clients. Total trash agency. Also, I was told during the self-led online training that they will call your client randomly and randomly visit your client's home. Also, if they are sick or there is a change in your client medically, they demand that you call them and tell them immediately. Have these people ever heard of HIPAA laws? Your first call is to your doctor or an ambulance- not to Addus!! They are NOT licensed medical professionals!! Don't do it!! As someone with an inside look to this place, I suggest you run away fast and go somewhere else! Super trashy, completely incompetent and you wonder why the workers are lazy and don't care? Because their employers don't care!

I had a week to find care for my father, which the other companies I interviewed either needed minimum 2 weeks notice or we just didn't jive. But with ascent home care, they were ready, willing and accommodating! The process with my dad was overwhelming and on his discharge date I couldn't be there. Ascent took the reigns and kept me updated with everything from the time they arrived at rehab to when they were on their way to my dads to when they arrived home. Hey made the process easy. The care workers were amazing and patient with my father and kept me updated with everything going on wth him and supplies he needed. I NEVER had to worry about my dad's care or his safety.I highly recommend this company to anyone who is searching for care for a family member or loved one

The Dr's gave him 7-10 days to live. He lived for more than 2 months with excellent care from Ascent. Our caretaker, Ariel, was an amazing angel that gave my dear Father-In-Law respect, comfort and friendship. He bathed and fed him and gave him massages. He fit right in with our family. He made a very sad time in our lives bearable and actually enjoyable at times. The owners of Ascent have huge hearts too and are hands on. I highly recommend them for home health care.

Honestly, it has been the worst two years of our lives, and I cannot stress enough how much Seasons…read morehas contributed to all of the issues we've had dealing with my husband's aunt. First of all, while the nurses may be medical professionals to some degree, in no way should their opinions be utilized for life changing decisions. We had some incompetent named Paul going to see our aunt in her home, where she wanted to die. While we understand that her home was not an ideal place for anyone to live, it was her home for nearly 60 years and where she wished to be. Paul informed us that she had likely less than four months to live and would need to come live with us. This was 1.5 years ago, and his diagnosis couldn't have been more incorrect or detrimental to the lives of our entire household. For nearly two years we've had to alter everything to accommodate her. I would strongly suggest Seasons advise their staff to not influence important family decisions. They don't care, as they are in the "ease the pain and move on" business. It's like a conveyor belt. Henry Ford would be proud. I know this review won't cause Seasons to make any changes, but I'm hoping someone will read this and understand that the nurses' guidance could potentially be detrimental to a family.
