I started going to Arise pharmacy because I was tired of the lines at the bigger local drug stores and because it is closer to my house. Little did I know that it would become worth it and then some. You are made to feel like family at this place. I walk in and they know me by name. I have never once waited in line or been put on hold when calling. They go out of their way to help me with any questions or concerns I may have. Peter and Mora are the nicest two people I've ever met in a pharmacy and always treat me with the utmost respect and kindness. This pharmacy is running a scam. They tell you your insurance doesn't cover the whole cost of your medication and tries to charge you more than your copay. Do not use this pharmacy. I have reported them to the state medical boards and the insurance commissioner. Reply to owner: What a bunch of lies. You people are rude and apparently dishonest. I do not wish to do business with you and will continue to warn others of your dishonesty and poor service. I deal with many pharmacies and have never been treated this way. Your comment to me was " I don't have your medication" you said this after I refused to pay you and extra 200 for the medication. This was an outright lie since you were willing to fill the prescription one second earlier. Maybe you should think about your demeanor. It is not my responsibility to negotiate prescription pricing between you and insurance companies. You are taking advantage of a medication shortage by overcharging the customers and blaming it on the insurance companies. You take no responsibility and have lost a potential customer and everyone I come in contact with. read more

I only came here because I wanted to try them out and experience the great customer service other reviewers had raved about. My experience was nothing but disappointing. The one time prescription I had took longer than 3 hours and I never received a call that it was ready so I just showed up! When i arrived, the woman at the register was talking to a man for awhile and then asked me if I was as "so and so". Oddly enough she knew who I was, prob since they don't get enough business. The whole interaction was 'odd' and just unfriendly. The environment was old and dated, something from the 90's plaza mall. I prefer the wonderful, and efficient service I receive from CVS! This little pharmacy that could! CVS or Savon service is no match to the team of Peter and Maura. Best local pharmacy you'll get. Friendly, efficient, they call you to remind you of prescriptions that are due, they'll deliver to you if you want it, yes, for free! Other drugstores are sometimes out of stock but call Peter and he will try to search it out for you. If there is a JDPower & Assoc. award for pharmacies, they would easily get my vote!! read more

I'm the first reviewer! This is a new pharmacy. Very clean and the pharmacist working was very kind. I had gone to the pharmacy at Vons, but they didn't have what I needed. I went to CareMore and they had the drug I needed! The pharmacist also explained that they are an independent pharmacy and can provide more intimate care versus at other name brand pharmacies where you're just another number! Give them a shot :) also, there's some goodies like health care vitamins, medicines, etc you can pick up if you need. CareMore is right by Ten Ren, perfect to check out the pharmacy next door when you're picking up your boba! I will probably come here again for my other prescriptions. read more

I'm a prescriber and routinely send my patients here for better, faster service, better prices and a much, much higher chances that Rx will " be covered." There's a ton of tricks to the trade and chances are anything branded especially will not be covered at the big chains like CVS. Basically all branded prescriptions also have saver cards and other programs to make them generic prices or free. CVS and RiteAid pharmacists do not know these tricks and do not have time to go the extra mile. Walgreens flat out refuses to even try to do anything but run a basic check on coverage. I wish everyone would support the smaller and better independent pharmacies like this one and save themselves time, money, and headaches. read more

Pan the pharmacist was super quick to fill our prescription. He did it within 10 minutes vs. going to Walgreens and waiting like a couple hours and having to come back and pick it up. He was professional and gave us extra tips of the side effects of the medicine and what to look out for. read more
