The entire staff was incredibly kind, compassionate, and reassuring during a very stressful situation. Dr. Slider, DVM, along with the rest of the team, took excellent care of my cat and explained everything thoroughly, making sure I understood what was happening every step of the way. I never felt rushed or dismissed, and it was clear how much they truly care about both pets and their owners. If I ever have another pet emergency, I will absolutely come back here. I'm so grateful for the care they provided and getting my kitty back to good health.

Called before coming here, so they were ready for her visit. I thought it was odd that the employee took her back to the exam area, but told me that they'd call when the vet was done. Waited in the car for about an hour when the call came to pick up my dog. Met with the vet, and he told me that he expressed my dog's anal glands, but also asked if I wanted him to do more tests to ensure there wasn't also something else going on with her. I told him no, paid the vet bill of over $400 which included a small bottle of antibiotics for her, and brought her home. She didn't struggle with pooping after her vet visit. Gave her the antibiotics twice daily until she was done with her meds. She didn't seem to have any lasting effects. Two things that I didn't like were: 1. Me not being able to go with my dog to the exam room. 2. Being told that there may be something else wrong with her but not being provided a good explanation about what it was.

I called ahead, and both the receptionist and vet acted completely indifferent. When things got worse, I took him in anyway. What a mistake. The place has the cold, soul-crushing vibe of a jail, not a place that cares about animals. The receptionist greeted me with pure attitude -- "fill this out" and an unmistakable "why are you wasting my time" energy. The vet was even worse. No hello to me or my dog. He barely listened, shrugged off the symptoms like it was nothing, and made me feel like I was overreacting for wanting him seen. I trusted my instincts, walked out, and got the hell away from that place. The very next morning I drove six long hours home to my trusted family vet of years. Bloodwork, X-rays, and ultrasound revealed my dog's spleen was three times normal size and his red blood count was critically low. He's now in treatment, but the vet was blunt: if we had waited based on BluePearl's negligence, it could have easily been fatal. This isn't a veterinary clinic -- it's a disgrace. I mourn for any desperate pet owner who walks through those doors in a crisis. BluePearl doesn't deserve your trust or your money. Run. Go anywhere else.

The first time our dog had a mass on his face. He was extremely wary and skittish coming here, even pooped on the floor from anxiety, but the staff was super calm and patient with him. They assessed him and gave us our options. When they removed the mass, they gave us detailed instructions on aftercare and encouraged us to call if we had any follow up questions. Unfortunately, the last time we went was when our dog passed. They assessed him and gave us the news, giving us ample time to grieve. Some of the staff even remembered him for the first visit. They gave us our options and sent us a card signed by the staff which we certainly didn't expect. I'm super thankful for VEG ER and the people who work there. You can tell they genuinely care about animals, and that care extends to humans too. Know you will be in good hands if you have to come here. Parking: There is a free parking lot. It's relatively small, but we never had an issue finding a spot when we came.

I asked how long she had, and they said they didn't know, but a very short amount of time. I left in tears and mourned for three days (by mourning, I mean crying non-stop). On the third day, the swelling had gone down, so I made an appointment with the regular vet. They got a blood sample from her leg, and under 10 minutes later, told me the sample was cancer-free. Her leg simply had an infection of some kind. The leg healed. Our dog is fine. When I think about how close I came to putting our sweet pup down at the advice of the careless "vets" at VEG, it absolutely breaks my heart. Oh, and I paid over $2000 for that appointment. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE.

He is also very spicy at the vet and they do a great job of being fear free but also ensuring anything that I can do at home is done there to limit his stress. Dr. Marano is great :) As typical for private practices, prices for exams and bloodwork can be a little higher than larger corporate practice but in my opinion, it is worth it to have a vet who will routinely call or email me if I have any concerns between visits, and answers all my questions. I appreciate the smaller feel and having team members who remember my cat and will not try to be unfair or overcharge. They are great at filling my Chewy subscriptions and supporting his at home care. All in all, I highly recommend and they are always kind, prompt, professional, and fantastic!
