I send other messages via phone, text, and email with no response (using the same methods as I had used in the past). Now, we are stuck with a screen door that doesn't lock properly, and no response from the company. This is bad business, and I would never recommend this company.

After four months of unfilled promises, three days ago I finally texted him to ask if the job was going to get done at all. I just need an answer one way or the other so I can plan on how to proceed and if I need to contact another company. This time there were no excuses/explanations...he simply ghosted me. To string a customer along for four months to ultimately just ignore him, that's no way to do business.
