I was recommended to use Hung Rite by a co-worker and had them come out to look at a broke spring. After looking at the door and noticing at least one other problem, the tech suggested grabbing a whole new door for not much more than all the repairs would cost. We talked through it and got an appointment for the install set up. They came back the next week and had it up in less than 3 hours, which was great. I have used this company for many years now. Today, I had them out because my garage door wouldn't open or close all the way. It turns out to be the logic board. Though I could have probably changed it myself, I was not able to diagnose the problem. And that's why I called the professionals in. The technician with very friendly and gave me options of what I can do. One option was change the board second option was a new garage door opener. That's because mine is over 16 years old. This is the 2nd time Hung Rite has come to my rescue. My garage door spring popped and my card was trapped. About 8 years ago there were there in about an hour after I called. Last night I called about 8pm and actually had someone answer. She let me know that my spring was under a lifetime warranty and they call in the morning when they checked the schedule. They replaced the door opener but 6 months later there was an issue caused by the chain chewing up a wire, which was due to the installer running the wire too close to the chain. When I called to have them come out to honor their 1 year warranty, they refused and referred me back to the home warranty company. Total crap. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I was having a problem with my garage door openers not working to open the garage door. The garage door, itself, worked just fine using the wall opener. There weren't any other problems with my door. They came to fix the door & now it will not open or shut. It also has a huge dent in the top of the door. The technician left with the garage not completely shut & now a non-working garage door! They lied to my home warranty company saying it was already broken before they came. They were by far the best price and the best customer service. Josh was my technician and he was friendly, took his time, made sure everything was well put. And kept a conversation going. We also had to get new molding around the outside garage door where it's sealed. And Josh and the company kept their word and came back out a week later. It was fast. One of the rudest customer service reps I have ever come across. They "tuned" my door and replaced a keypad and did not leave an owners manual for the keypad. When I called to request help resetting the pin the chain smoking male sounding rep told me to call the manufacturer and hung up on me! I called back and left a message very politely asking a technician to give me a call to help rest my pin. That was 3 days ago! And the garage door sounded like hell a few weeks later. My garage door opener died a few weeks ago. This company came out and replaced a part. Was working for 4 days. Then died again. They came out a second time and fixed it again. It broke down 3 days later, same issue. Called for a 3rd time and was told a tech was coming. They didn't show. Mix up in the office apparently. A horrible experience and the repair was never done because the technician apparently found some other, non-related issue and abruptly refused to fix the problem he was sent out to do. He was going to leave my garage door torn apart on top of it and just leave. Had to get his manager involved on the telephone who was just as rude or ruder and refused to work out the problem. Terrible customer service and very unprofessional and my garage door is still broke. A very stressful experience to say the least with no compassion for the customer. We have used Hung-Rite to replace garage doors at two homes. They were reasonably priced and professional. Since then, they've replaced springs and very recently replaced a garage door opener. I would have liked more opener alternatives, but we felt the need to use them for consistency of future service. They have honored warranty issues over time without resistance. The spring broke on my garage door. The home warranty company called this company. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and made every effort to work me into the schedule on New Year's Eve since they were closed on New Years Day. The repairman named Ramon came right before 5pm. He was very professional and friendly, he fixed the spring and took the extra time to oil all the rollers and change the light bulb in the garage opener unit. Excellent job fixing the door, and I was so impressed that at 5pm on New Years Eve, when I'm sure he wanted to call it a day, he came and did a great job. He was friendly, professional, fixed the broken spring, AND he still took the time to do the extra things like oil the rollers and change the burnt out light bulb in the unit. That kind of service needs to be acknowledged! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who wants the job done right, done quickly, by and done by friendly people. We use a home warranty company, and one of our garage door springs had broken two days ago. We put a call in to the warranty company, and they referred us to Hung-Rite. Today, we had our broken spring replaced by Fernando, who was very professional, and explained the process to me as he was replacing the spring. In addition, since the warranty company would (understandably) only cover the broken spring, but I wanted both springs replaced at the same time (they are about 17-18 years old, and what's the use of having one new spring and one old spring...), Fernando quoted me a price for the second spring, and was able to install both of them while he was here. He called me right before he arrived, and had the job finished quickly and even applied silicone lubricant to the rollers, springs and track and tested the door a couple of times to make sure we were both satisfied. I noticed that they are on here (Yelp) twice: I see a theme here. They completely mess up, then send someone ELSE back to fix the problem. I was told that I would receive a call before the tech's arrival. I did not. When the tech finally arrived, late, I asked him to wait 5 minutes while I finished a phone call. The Tech was aggressive, & refused to wait. After I agreed to open the garage door the tech insisted that I move the vehicle there in. I said that I would. About a minute later the Tech knocked loudly on my inner garage door. As I answered the Tech became belligerent & angry when I informed him that I needed 3 more minutes on the phone. The Tech very rudely informed me that my request for a few minutes was unacceptable. I asked the Tech to leave. The tech approached me, I began to shut the garage door, he stopped, turned around & began to pick up his tools stating that I would still be billed. I told the Tech that there was no way that I would pay for this. He left. Good thing I didn't have to shoot him. My experience on the phone with them wasn't so great either. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!- even if the owners or have some good employee(s), the fact that they would hire such a person speaks volumes. I plan to take my complaint to the BBB etc. And will consider Police involvement. read more

They were pretty awesome! We bought our home a month ago, and this was a first time ever having an issue and having to use a home warranty. Late friday night we had a small accident our garage door came off the railing and almost fell on our truck, leaving the truck stuck in the garage without us being able to drive out. Our home warranty dispatched these guys, and even though their office was closed on the weekends they were able to still send someone out to us on saturday morning. I made a follow up call to hung rite early saturday morning to find out what time they were coming out, the lady informed me it will probably be on monday since their offices are closed on the weekends and they will not receive the dispatched order until monday. I told her that wouldn't work out for me since my truck is pretty much stuck in the garage, and the door is hanging halfway open. She quickly started working on a resolution for me, said she will work something out and call me right back. A few hours later their guy showed up and quickly repaired everything. Even though most of it was not covered by the home warranty he still gave us a reasonable price for the repairs. Way less than we prepared ourselves to pay. Overall they are great.
