I truly appreciate all the help they provided me in my situation. However, if it was not for them, I am not sure I would given past one star. The initial intake visit was alright, minus being told that I am too young to have any real heart issues or any complications from Covid vaccines (even though many of my peers and family have been dealing with heart issues as a side effect). Brushing a patient off because of age is not quite a good practice. Here's where my experience continued to decline. I do not live in Arizona, so I ended up traveling back home soon after completing some in office and at home tests. I wanted those tests sent over to my PCP at home so she could review them when I went to my routine check up with her. I was told that the doctor would refuse to release my results to me (or anyone) before I have a follow up visit. This was the first major point of concern because I am not entirely sure that is legal given that I paid for these tests. So I am forced to do a call visit where the staff is running late so I tell them to take their time. Then the NP gets on the visit and tells me that there is no time to complete the proper duration of the visit because I am late to the call and she has someone after me. Bear in mind, I cannot be late to a call that I have not received. After some more wasted time, she says she will complete the call. I had to press them on the call to send me a copy of my results so that I can actually follow along with the reading, as this was an audio call not a video call (yet being charged as a full doctor visit). Words cannot describe the insanity of that. After going through the visit to be told that my results are fine, something that could have been emailed or sent as a voicemail. Doctors have a habit nowadays of charging you for doing minimal effort work, and charging you unnecessarily for things that do not require a visit. In my case, my results were refused to be released to me until I paid them more money for a follow up visit, that once again, was absolutely unnecessary. I have doctors of my own that I truly appreciate for running an honest practice, I can't say this is one.

The goal from the beginning has been for the patient to get better and find the best plan for the progress of that patient. The appointment scheduling is accommodating/flexible to fit your needs. Dr. Goldstein explains the tests and results in plain language which is just some of the little things that make this office incredible from the start. You won't feel overwhelmed in this office (yeah). Get well and good luck with your health if you have a need for a cardiologist. They took their time to educate us about our newborn's conditions and diagnoses, answer our hundreds of questions, and pass along tissues as needed. When our 2 month old needed a cardiac cath procedure, I felt 1000% comfortable with their referrals for hospital AND surgeon. Our baby will end up needing to be monitored for life, and I truly hope we can see Dr. Stock, Jamie, and their staff for as long as possible! As far as the review that mentions the staff being rude: I have never been treated rudely, or spoken to by any of their staff members in such a way. From the front door, to the medical assists, to the ultrasound techs, whether on the phone or in person: all of them are super sweet and helpful. And coming from a regular patient: Dr. Stock is in very high demand and hard to get in to see...even for us regulars. We have to book as far out as possible, and sometimes you are coming in at the crack of dawn or at dinner time to be seen because you don't really have a choice. You literally take anything they have available and figure out how to make it work. Those appointments are like gold, so it's a big deal to miss it, as there are a ton of us who may have needed it and could have come in even last minute.

After an hour of waiting I leave before I see her but after the nurses have taken my blood pressure, etc. I schedule an Uber exactly 1 hour after my appointment time and I have to take it or wait another 45 minutes. I don't think I ever spend more than 5 minutes with her when I do get to see her. While she is clearly one of the very best cardiologists in the Scottsdale area, being too busy is hard on patients. I don't know how to solve that problem so I am going elsewhere. Her office staff is excellent. She is extremely intelligent and that makes the care she gives to each patient exactly what they need as far as medicine or testing goes. But the downside of scheduling so many each day is a drawback on patients.

-Star Review I…read morerarely leave reviews, but my experience with this medical practice has been deeply frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable--especially for a cardiology office where patients often rely on urgent, accurate care. The communication here is disorganized at best, negligent at worst. After multiple calls about a prescription that was never sent to the pharmacy, I finally discovered the wrong medication had been submitted entirely. In cardiology, where medication errors can have life-threatening consequences, this is a massive red flag. The lack of urgency or concern from staff made it even worse--no one seemed to care. We were told that a CT scan was "urgent," yet the imaging center attempted multiple times to get clinical notes from the provider's office and received nothing. I personally called to request the notes and never got them. Eventually, I had to take time off work to physically go to the office just to get the documentation--two weeks after being told this was time-sensitive. By the time the imaging center got what they needed, services were denied by insurance. Even then, I was told the provider's office would send an appeal. Every time I called to follow up, the staff sounded annoyed and uninterested, eventually telling me, "If it's that urgent, you can call insurance yourself." That level of disregard is unacceptable, especially from a cardiology practice. The entire process has been a constant runaround with no accountability. Cardiology is a delicate and critical field, and it should be treated with the utmost care. Sadly, my experience showed the exact opposite.

My time with Hector felt like someone actually cared, valued my time and my questions. I did not feel rushed or half heard. I had his full attention and he had actually reviewed all my tests.
