My Cardiologist Dr. Erica Flores left to a different practice and the nurse practioner told me at my follow up you are good we will see you in a year. When I found Dr. Erica Flores and ACTUALLY had a true follow up, I have numerous things that need to be taken care of. First visit at East valley Cardiology on Dobson was to have a heart monitor installed. Upon arrival, the staff brought me to a supply room which was freezing cold (Nov 2025). In addition to the nurse who had to attach the monitor there was a 2nd gal nurse and a 3rd, young male who was in training. I had to lift my top and he was very uncomfortable. I don't know who was more uncomfortable, ME or Him. Then to top it off the monitor did not get activated properly. A bit of a mess and not very comforting thank God I am young but if I need ore visits, I will have to go else where. Front staff was accommodating but the back office staff was very disrespectful. Dr was amazing, his bedside manner is top notch but not comfortable with the staff and how things are run. read more

I have been going to East Valley Cardiology since 2021 and have been blown off since I started going there. They do not care about your health or cardiac conditions. Go elsewhere. For example: A recent chest CT (ordered by my primary care Dr) showed I have atherosclerosis of my aorta at 30... I was told by Jamie Harris (NP) that this is a "normal part of aging"... I also have lupus and other chronic conditions that put me at risk of heart attack and stroke. So, I asked for additional testing. Jamie Harris acted like this was a waste of her time and didn't even explain the tests she ordered for me. The office manager is also clueless and could care less about your dissatisfaction or concerns. Avoid! read more

Ever since Dr. Ganesh retired the practice is not the same. After being discharged from the hospital my mother was told to follow up with her cardiologist as soon as possible. After leaving several messages via phone and in the patient portal, it took a week for the office to call back. Then another week to get an appointment. My mother was scheduled with a NP. First thing she says was "didn't you want to be seen by the doctor?". We were never given an option. She also stated that the office taking a week to return our calls was "pretty good". Not the level of care or urgency I expect for anyone with cardiac issues. read more

Our experience with East Valley Cardiology in September and October of 2024 was very good. We had longer than expected wait times due to a disorganized system, but our doctor was well worth the wait. Fast forward to January of 2025, we were told that our doctor was on medical leave. They scheduled us with a PA who cancelled our appointment at the last minute. Rescheduled a month later with someone we had not yet worked with. She was friendly, but displayed little to no knowledge of cardiovascular care, treatment, or medication needs. She left the office multiple times during our visit to gather information on how to respond to our questions. By the end of the appointment, she changed medications that were working to medications that we had already reported excessive side effects. My husband and I both walked out of the office angry, confused, and frustrated. We weren't listened to, our concerns weren't addressed, and we had no confidence that the practice had any intention of placing us with a skilled cardiologist to replace the one we had been seeing. We will not be returning. We have chosen to follow our cardiologist to his new location. read more

Everyone was friendly to work with. The doctor himself only gave me about 7 minutes of his time, and didn't really understand me explaining some of the issues I was trying to convey. I don't feel like he took the time to completely understand what I was trying to communicate. He just suggested that I sign up for more costly programs such as at home ECG work and walked out. So the work itself wasn't even helpful and I walked away with no more understanding on my issues. They charged me $45 for the ECG, and then the new patient bill itself was an additional $234. I called them for clarification on why I'm being charged so much for new patient paperwork, and they said that's just what they charge and there's nothing they can do about it. I told them that seems unfair, because I am the one who fills out the paperwork, and all they do is enter it in. They said there's nothing they can do and that this is normal practice for them. I've been to several specialists and have never been charged that much for the new patient process. They advised me to talk to my insurance. I talked to insurance and they said there's nothing they can do because that's the contract they have with them as an in-network facility. I understand that my deductible is high, but that being said to charge people $234 for paperwork is absolutely absurd and I think a complete extortion of the system. This facility is the exact reason why there are so many frustrations with our nations health care. Because there is no negotiation opportunity, it's feels exhorbant in cost. My father was a former patient of Dr. Ganem. My father needed to have a Defibrillator battery replaced along with the wires. My father requested the procedure to be done at the Chandler Regional hospital, but was booked in a private facility that was not setup to replace the wires and Medicare out of pocket was $5000, which not disclosed at the time of changing my father procedure to this private facility that Dr Ganem was a partner owner. My father's wires caused a short putting my dad into cardiac arrest. The wires were replaced in the hospital. I went to the follow-up appt, Dr Ganem was rude. I have been seeing Dr. Ghanim for over a year and I am grateful for finding Dr. Ghanim and staff after my heart attack. Dr. Ghanim explained my condition thoroughly and he pleasantly answer my concerns. The staff are always friendly with good attitude. However, one of the staff at the Maricopa location stands out. FNP-C Jamie Harris always goes above and beyond her duties. She is there for the patients and always responds to my messages in a timely manner. This place sucks big time. Dr. Kneller has the worst bedside manner of ANY doctor I have EVER encountered ~ he's extremely rude. THEN, I get a text that I owe $25 ~ I call to see what it's for, as I had paid all my co-pays..get the billing department's voice mail, so I leave a message. I NEVER get a call back, & then weeks later, I get a threatening LAST NOTICE letter for the $25. I paid it, even though I had no idea what it was for. How DARE they send a threatening letter, when they can't return phone calls I told them off big time, will NEVER set foot in that horribly managed so called medical office again. NO doctor treats me like I'm beneath him, & NO medical office threatens me when I never got an initial bill, & they don't respect their patients enough to RETURN phone calls. Clean Office, Friendly Staff, Difficult To Call On Phone One day I got chest pains and got really dizzy and disoriented. I thought I better look into this. So my primary care provider referred me to this office. My cardiologist here was Dr. Einhorn. He was a friendly man in my 1 time meeting him during my 4 or so visits to this office. He is very careful not to give you much detail until your tests are done as to not give you misleading information. This also means it feels like little information is given to you during the process. The phone situation at this office is frustrating to say the least. I have only been able to call one time out of more than 12 attempts and actually talk to a person. Inevitably I find my way to Dr. Einhorn's voicemail which states your call will be returned in 24 hours which is more like 72 hours and you will get a missed call from the office. One time I called because I was having chest pains and no one ever called me back at all! All in all the office is clean and appears organized, but I would have preferred to have received slightly more information and was to this information. I was worried about my heart and it felt like to everyone else it wasn't important enough for their time. My EKG showed 3 abnormal results, no further information was provided. My Stress Test showed my I am not as young as I once was and need to get in shape! Other than that they said it was fine. I felt pretty dizzy, but I guess that's ok... My Echo Cardiogram showed It turned out I have a regurgitating ventricular valve which apparently isn't going to kill me for 50 years, and I'll be long dead by then... The people checking you in seem to be pretty friendly. The lady who checks you out is usually on the phone while you stand and wait for her. There is room for improvements to say the least. I wanted to leave an accurate representation of my experience to guide others. I would not recommend this office to others. read more

After they rescheduled my appointment multiple times due to their own issues I waited an hour in the room after my scheduled appointment time only not to be seen. This doctors office has no respect for others time as i had to use my own vacation hours out of work to be at this appointment. I arrived 15 minutes beforehand and they couldn't even give me the respect of coming into my room to tell me they were running late or why even after 50 minutes of waiting in the patient room... Absolutely will not be back nor do it recommend to anyone. One word to describe this office - disrespectful. read more

My parents and I have been patients here for years. I have liked many of the providers that have been involved in our care. Unfortunately I don't think my parents have received the level of respect that they deserve, especially when they speak so highly of the practice. Asking completely rational questions makes the providers defensive. The first time I was treated like an annoyance by the physician I overlooked it, chalking it up to a bad day. Second or third time the doctor talked down to me for asking a question is enough. Won't go back. Don't get the feeling providers like "dealing with" the family, or maybe it's because I'm a woman? Went in for afib. Dr. Sawant, who has a thick indian accent, prescribed pardaxa to prevent blood clots. Gave me some free samples. I found out it was a tier 3 drug which was 500 bucks a month. (its almost like they are getting a percentage) Insurance wont pay for it, so am trying for the last week to get someone to prescribe a cheaper blood thinner. Like pulling teeth. read more

Two different doctors in this practice did their best to kill my husband. When he first developed AFIB they did absolutely nothing about it besides put him on blood thinners. They never tried to shock him back into rhythm and now its too late. AFIB weakened his Mitral valve. They took a wait and see attitude and now its too late to fix. That doctor retired and we were given Ganem when my husband developed serious retention issues. He waltzed into our first appointment, looked at my husbands weeping legs, looked at his file and said "you're in congestive heart failure why haven't YOU done anything about it". We were NEVER told this. We were never told he had an ejection fraction of 30 (which was in the file). We were never told to alter his diet and I told him that. Dead silence resulted and then a totally different attitude. Ganem scheduled an echocardiogram for two weeks in the future. I took him to the ER that same day. His ejection fraction in the ER was 15 and we were told he wouldn't have been alive in two weeks. Ten days in the cardiac unit and 10 days in rehab got is ejection fraction up to 35 but too late for anything to be fixed. I was appalled that this practice tried to put this all on us. My husband went twice a year for 10 years and just assumed he was in good hands. If you're considering this practice be your own advocate and question everything! read more

They ran all the tests on me and I was fine. My issue is not my heart. Was very reassuring... totally unrelated health issue that refers to that area. My husband went through and he was good to go as well. He had been in the hospital and they referred him. Was a pinched nerve referring pain into chest and spasms he thought was heart attack. My Uncle saw them for a decade and was very happy with service. He actually does have a heart issue. The theme continues with front office people not being forthright and not being helpful. I don't get it. Why take the job if you don't want to work with people (patients) but seems to be across the medical industry of people working for Dr's who don't like people. read more

Well, first time at this practice, and I am completely underwhelmed at their snippy attitudes and total lack of respect for a patient's time. I arranged for an appointment a while ago. When I questioned the desk why I'm still waiting a half hour after my scheduled appointment time, and an hour after I arrived, I was told, "oh, you were just added to the schedule. LIAR! Then I was told that I must be ready to wait because the doc was a specialist. Oh, so sorry - I'm a specialist too, and this narcissistic group is wasting my time. Dr. Ganem and Dr. Dappen have treated my heart for more than a decade. They are dedicated, smart, current in procedures and technology and they take the time to explain and care. With their care of my AHD and CDF I expect to live a full life with few limitations. I give them my strongest recommendation. I had 4x bypass at age 45, have 13 stents, went from pacemaker to defibulator, etc. Lucky to have known grandchildren and have had a successful business career and having near normal retirement. Every time I went I never saw a doctor. All I saw was a nurse practitioner who was more interested in the number if miles he runs each day then me. He never once asked me any questions about how I was doing. He just kept his nose in my chart commenting on what test they need to run. Last visit. I waited 1 hr for my appointment. The reason was because the DOCTOR takes extra time to assure his patients are well inforned and all questions are answered. Sounded good to me excet I never see him.
