My experience with Dr. Dan Sraow was not a pleasant one. Not only did he kept me waiting for about 30min in the exam room but he was not prepared when he finally walked in. He spent most of the time reading my chart and was asking me dumb questions that had nothing to do with what we were supposed to talk about. So I asked him if he could show me the results of my angiogram and explain to me what he was looking at. He told me and I quote " well you're not going to understand and I don't have time" so I tried to keep my cool but I'm sorry it was impossible! I got up and told him that we could reschedule to another time when he has time for me. He started to make excuses that he needed to go help he friend, so I told him, you have time for your friend but not your patience? So I said what kind of BS is that! By this point I had already lost my cool. So I asked him are we going to sit here and argue or are you going to explain to me what you are supposed to do as it is you job! Then he looked at me and said " you know what? This conversation is over" so I opened the door and started to walk out. He stop my wife and was telling her to follow up with my cardiologist. Meanwhile my wife is telling me to calm down so I had the pleasure to yell out FUCK HIM! Let's go, he just said that this conversation is over. We walked out and will never go there again! He also claimed to be the director of the cardiology department for dignity health Chandler regional. I will also be reaching out to dignity health and let them know of this incident. read more

This front office is a nightmare. After having an experience with scheduling, and insurance (being told they took my insurance then sent me a $275 bill because they were in error). then charging me for a visit which I had canceled, i left a review stating what had transpired. I liked Dr Apolinar. So 2 years later I thought I would give them another shot as my new insurance had them listed as a provider. I called them set up an appointment, I waited a month for the drove down from Pinetop just for the appointment and received a call the day before the appointment saying they messed up and never should have scheduled an appointment because I had left a negative review and they were canceling the appointment. THIS IS INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL!! Sunstate's front office is so incompetent. read more

Dr. Flores is great but the people in the office need training on how to handle patients.

Dr. Flores is amazing! I'll follow her to any practice! My problem is with the office. They are brisk with people, not patient, unorganized, and make mistakes. They told us they called us, left a voice mail, sent us texts and more on an appointment but we have nothing from them, basically calling us liars. On our last appointment they forgot about us and left us sitting in the waiting room after the whole room cleared out. We could see the staff talking and laughing in another room. From the very start they spelled my name wrong, even though I spelled it for them. If it wasn't for Dr. Flores, I would never go to Sun State Cardiology. read more

Our primary Dr picked up on my husband's symptoms of heart decease and sent us to Dr Apolinar. She took quick action with testing and scheduled an angiogram with Dr Dalal. He found that my husband's arteries were full of plaque and 95% blockage of the LAD coronary artery known as the widowmaker! He took care of the blockage and inserted a stent. The quick action and expertise of all doctors involved saved my husband from a fatal episode. We will continue with follow ups under Dr Apolinar. All doctors have been extremely informative and took the time to care about his condition. We are beyond grateful. God bless them all. read more

I don't even have the words to explain how grateful I am to have found Dr. Sraow. I've only had a consultation appointment with him so far, but I left his office today in tears of relief. He is incredibly thorough and truly CARES about finding answers, even if that means looking outside of cardiology. Waited 50 minutes past our appointment time. Other patients scheduled after our time were called back and gone and we still sat! Approached front desk 2x on delay with no support. Appears like very poor time management! Our time is valuable as well. read more

At 49 years old I found myself in an ambulance on my way to the hospital while having a heart attack! I was met by a doctor from Sun State Cardiology who had me in surgery in 15 minute after my arrival and he literally saved my life. My follow up care since that day has been thorough and I have had no heart problems since . They have made sure to get regular testing ( all kinds of tests, every year to make sure it never happens again) thank you sun state! read more

No one wants to need a specialist, but I'm so glad my primary care doc recommended Dr. Estela Apolinar. She is a fantastic physician. She even called me with test results and we talked about a game plan for like 20 minutes! She is very thorough in her examinations as well. I feel like I am listened to and my concerns are taken seriously. I also really appreciate that she explains her rationale for why she wants to try an intervention or order a diagnostic test. The office staff are also friendly and provide appointment reminder/confirmation calls 1-2 days before an appointment. The only annoyance I have come across is that you can't make a payment online - only in office or by phone. read more

I give my drs a 5 but the phone system stinks. No one answers for days. They tell you to leave a message, if it goes thru and doesn't stay busy for 29 minutes,, for your provider, left msgs every day that I got thru. Dr ordered me a new medication but it never got called in to pharmac...hello heart medication...and I can't talk with a live person. Not a good way to run business. I left there the first time because of this problem thought id try them again...well, going somewhere else again. When the portal doesn't work and no answering you back, well in my book that equals 0 service. read more

Dr Apolinar is wonderful. I would never change doctors. However the portal doesnt work. I have tried everything but it does not work. I cannot get a message to the office. I have a serious medical question. I called 5 days in a row with my question. I left a message each time and still have no answer. I cant get the answer on my portal because the information requested cannot be filled in. So I am going to have to keep calling or wait until my next appointment. I don't know if I am supposed to be taking a medicine that I received from my mail in pharmacy that I havent been taking and I need to know why I received it. So a wonderful doctor but not a wonderful portal or message taker. read more

Diagnosed with a severe heart murmur by a different cardiologist after wearing a heart monitor for a week here and being told I have a healthy heart. On top of all of that, they made payments online impossible and then sent me to collections for $40 instead of making online payments available. Ridiculous. read more
