I really appreciate that this place doesn't resort to high pressure sales tactics and even though I could have found the hardware cheaper online I really appreciated the personal touch to get to know me and what I liked, rather than which line would bring in more profit. The policy at this Ace location to do a simple exchange is that you must have a receipt and the purchase must be made within the last 30 days - neither of which applied to me. These were the ACE HARDWARE Brand of air filters and all I needed to do was exchange them for the correct size. Man at the register rudely told me this was the policy and there was nothing he could do. So I went to Artie's Ace and they gave me a store credit and I was able to get the correct size filters. Artie's Ace is heads and shoulders above this Ace location; the best customer service and a much nicer store - with a post office!
