Armando, Just to clarify i called an hour prior to my arrival and i take total ownership of not making that distinction in my prior review; that detail may have had a negative influence on your response and i do apologize for the oversight on my end. Your comment on my inability to "keep a barber" is unfounded based on the fact you dont know my history, so let me share some of it. Instead of acknowledging the discrepancy between what I was told over the phone and what happened when I arrived, you shifted the responsibility onto me and made assumptions about my history with barbers and shops that are simply untrue. I called your shop before arriving specifically to confirm availability. I did not simply walk in expecting to be accommodated. I called ahead, asked about availability because the online portal for appointments was down, resulting in a reliance on the information I was given. That is a very important part of what happened, and your response does not address it. As for your comment about me being unable to keep a consistent barber: I had the same barber from my very first haircut until I was 24 years old and moved to Arizona. I have also had thousands of haircuts throughout my lifetime. I know what a professional barber-client relationship looks like, and I know the difference between an ordinary misunderstanding and an experience that feels deliberately misleading. What I experienced at your establishment made me feel intentionally misled in a way that appeared designed to increase foot traffic. Had I been given accurate information when I called, I could have made an informed decision and gone somewhere else. That is the fundamental issue you have not addressed. I also find it noteworthy that the tone of your response directly aligns with the way your barbers interacted with me. Rather than addressing a customer's legitimate concerns with professionalism and accountability, the response is defensive, argumentative, and places the blame back on the customer. That interaction itself reinforces the exact concern I raised in my review about the customer experience at your shop. I am not criticizing your business because you prioritize appointments. That is completely reasonable. I am criticizing the way the situation was handled after I specifically called ahead to confirm availability, and the way my concerns were subsequently dismissed rather than addressed. After thousands of haircuts over the course of my life, I have never experienced what I perceived as such intentional malpractice in managing customer expectations simply to generate foot traffic. If your position is that appointments have priority, that is fine--but customers who call beforehand should be given accurate information so they can make an informed decision about whether to come in. Cedric gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. He really took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted, communicated clearly throughout the cut, and paid attention to every detail. On top of that, he's just a genuinely cool guy and made the whole experience enjoyable. I've already gotten multiple compliments at work about the haircut and how great the fade was. Arizona Fresh is a Top Tier Barber shop. I love that fact that we have the option to schedule an appointment. You arrive and no wait straight to your cut. This place is pretty cool. I went here when my appointment at my usual place got canceled. They got me in pretty quick because it was a Wednesday around 3. I'm terrible with names but the guy who cut my undercut was Hawaiian (Fleed? Some interesting name I tried to remember and failed). His customer service was on point, along with his vibes. The windows facing the street were nice so you can look out while you're waiting. They played good music too so it made the vibe even better. The shop was upstairs, on the side of the building which was a little confusing, also making it not wheelchair accessible. Luckily I don't use one but it's good for people to know ahead of time just in case. read more

I just got back home from a haircut with Mando and am horrified to see my hairline completely disfigured. Instead of following my natural hairline, there is this gash going way too deep into my right temple. It does not match with the left side of my hairline either. This is the worst haircut I have ever gotten. At $41, it is overpriced as well. You don't get a shampoo or hair product on your hair at the end, which you get at other places charging those prices. read more

I love coming here. It's a great atmosphere and the haircuts are also done incredibly well. I personally go to Mando, the first guy you see when you walk in but if he's busy don't worry everyone that works is able to take care of you and they'll get it done exactly how you want it. That's rare in a Barbershop but you're in gods hands with anyone in this shop. This place is quite busy on weekends so make an appointment if you plan on going on a Saturday. read more

I love going here, I personally have gotten my hair cut by Mariela. Her personality conveys her passion for cutting hair, she's is excellent, efficient, and quick. She's really good with keeping up with appointments and as long as you make an appointment, your wait will never be long. She also cuts my sons hair, and he looks forward to his haircut every single time, we appreciate her efforts in keeping her business very professional. Doesn't waste time, doesn't get distracted like many barbers do now a days. The other barbers in the facility are great as well, I see everyone in the shop having a blast and they acknowledge you when you walk in and they make you feel welcome.
