They return phone calls incredibly fast and they will work in any changes you may have. I found them to be honest and hard working every day that they are there. They are fair with costs and how much they charge per job and you walk away knowing that you got fabulous value for what they charged you. We had work done in all rooms including the addition of an Arizona Room , but for us it was a sewing room. Did it matter what the room was for? Yes in this instance it did, because I needed an excessive amount of light. They did a magnificent job, you couldn't even tell that the room was added on. They built the gazebo we had and they added a small putting green for the beginner golfers in us. They added new closet doors on our new closets. They did various electrical work in the house. They added a keyless entry onto our doors and did some work in the garage. They built us the best carport with a noiseless remote door. Anything we asked them to do they were able to do. If you want honest, fair and hard workers R&M is the business to use. You will be 200% satisfied!!

I had previously spoken with a couple of bigger national brands and R&M was able to do the job for half the price. They were very respectful of our home, cleaned everything up thoroughly after they finished, and did a great job on the install. I'd highly recommend them for any remodeling project. They're very affordable and do an excellent job start to finish. They made it clear that their #1 priority was ensuring we were happy with the work they did.

This job involved drywall (delete a door and add a large arched opening), electrical, custom cabinets, shelves, interior/exterior paint, and a touch of flooring. Eric and his guys did an amazing job. My wife loves the closet they converted into a reading nook. We always felt comfortable with the crew in our house. They worked around our schedule and Eric was always available for a quick check-in so I knew where we were with each step. The two big standouts were the price staying the same even though he did a few extras, and Salvador nailing that 8' high 6' wide arch! We couldn't be happier and would definitely use them again.

The kitchen required removing a wall to open up the closed dark kitchen and adding an oversized bar. Eric was extremely timely and professional in getting us a comprehensive quote. He was also extremely affordable as well. He started work right away and did a phenomenal job. We gave him pictures of what we wanted for the kitchen and fireplace, and he replicated the style to a T - which most contractors can't do without a designer helping them. He also was able to design and order custom cabinets for our pantry. Eric was extremely detail oriented throughout the process, checking in with us as needed for style and safety decisions, and always updated us on cost or possible delays. He also was insanely knowledgable about every area of construction such as dry wall, plumbing, electrical, fabrication, flooring, tiling, etc. This guy really is a one man show - he can do it all. Eric did have a few subcontractors help him with the job and they were always fantastic to work with as well. He knows quality workmanship and partnership. He finished the job in a timely timeframe and our home is gorgeous and the workmanship is quality - for a great price. If you need any renovations done, Eric with E.L. Construction is the way to go. All of which I had been pleased with both pricing and quality. However, recently things went completely off the rails. The project started bad and ended awful. I got a call the day before the start saying we'd have a few days delay. Ok fine. I got a call later saying somebody would show up tomorrow. No one did. I got a call the next day saying they'd be there tomorrow. This time a guy showed up, said he needed to get some supplies, and never came back! Finally a guy came and tiled the shower and floors. Progress. Next, a crew came to do install the vanity. They left and never came back. Literally no one has come back to my house. And to make matters worse, Danny has completely ghosted me! Will not return my text. Will not return my calls. He was Johnny quick when it was time to collect the deposit. And now, nothing. It's bad enough that he took my money and left me high and dry. Our project was delayed months. When I finally scrambled to get a different contractor we found issues wrong with our cabinets. That's not their fault but given the delays we missed our return window. That's at least a couple more thousand dollars this company cost me. It has been an extremely frustrating experience apart from the money lost. We signed a contract. Never trust a company that doesn't honor it's own paperwork.

When possible I like to support small independent local businesses and made the call for an estimate . Dan the owner spent a lot of time at our in home visit to review the scope , made great suggestions on 2 new pots and pan drawers and assured us we would not know they were refaced but would look like new cabinets . We chose a beautiful Maple wood with new drawers on amazing soft close silent hardware . The work crew was professional , skilled craftsmen that figured out every little corner and angle to perfection . I am amazed at the quality of work . The transformation is stunning . My adult daughter just saw the new kitchen today for the first time and was so impressed she thought it was all new boxes from the ground up ! Then Dan came to our house and spent a significant amount of time with us explaining our options, showing us samples of cabinets, and answering all of our questions. We opted for several additional options on top of our initial estimate, but we never felt pressured to add or upgrade anything. We initially had hoped to do refacing to improve the overall aesthetic of our kitchen, but we were so excited to discover some of the additional options that were offered that solved functional problems that had always bothered us! When we reached out to Better Than New, we didn't even realize how much they could do besides just refacing. We replaced all of our old, hard-to-open drawers with beautiful, easy to open, soft-close drawers. We added a pull-out drawer for trash and recycling bins. We replaced sagging shelves in our cabinets. And we replaced the shelves in our deep pantry with drawers, making the space SO much more usable and accessible for our tall family. So not only is the kitchen beautiful, but it's so much more functional. There were zero hidden fees. The work was absolutely immaculate. The team was incredibly professional. And the work was done as scheduled and on time - the entire project only took 2.5 days!! I didn't receive estimates from other companies, so I don't know how the price would have compared. But we feel that the finished product, the quality of the materials used, and the professionalism and skill of the team were worth what we paid.
