That is exactly what his team and he did, and unlike some of the reviews saying the wait was greater than 30 minutes past their scheduled time, I actually was taken back 10 minutes early. I also got my laundry list of concerns addressed at the same appointment, and he gave me the referrals I needed. I was very impressed and would recommend him highly. I'm a dentist in private practice and can appreciate the importance of giving your patients the chance to have all their concerns addressed and to be there to answer all their questions. They constantly transfer to other people (who also don't know what they're doing) 3 referrals had to be sent and then finally they find them and they won't schedule my daughter properly and tell me they can't just go off what I've been saying to schedule her sooner BUT don't care to look in her records to see that the ICU wants her seen within a week. My daughter was supposed to be seen last week this is how long this is taking. They refuse to schedule her any sooner then 2-3 months out....after being in the icu. Maybe it's time to hire some people with more experience and who know how to use an EMR, make a phone call, take there job seriously and actually want to help people. What I did tell my PCPs medical assistant was that they said they could schedule her any sooner, they were pretending that she only sent 1 referral and giving me attitude about it, and if she calls them back to talk to them to tell them that they're fucking lazy. I'm so glad I didn't go here especially since they consistently lie to try and cover their asses. We've tried several times to have referrals written for some skin issues only to be ignored. IMHO, our care has been less than thorough with little to no follow up on what has transpired after our Medicare paid for and suggested visits. If we haven't agreed with suggestions, it seems the issue gets dropped rather than alternatives suggested. Issues with medication tend to be left in a "that's not our problem" arena. So, while the other folks tend to think this practice is the best thing since sliced bread, I tend to disagree.
