My husband and I went to Arizona Tile today to pick out countertops for our kitchen, and tile and countertops for 2 bathrooms. We were immediately welcomed into the store. We didn't have an appointment but easily met with Beau Richter who spend an hour showing us our options, evening bring a slab from the back storage area for us to see. The selections are incredible. The store is beautiful. The employees are knowledgable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. We came home with a variety of samples that made our decision easier. You don't need to go anywhere else. Lank is the most helpful person at this place. We have been here many times and have only received true customer service from him. He was knowledgeable, friendly and went out of his way to help us, even pulling a slab on the spot despite us not having an appointment. Terrible customer service. Smug employees who are completely apathetic. They seem to be hung up on being a "wholeseller" and won't tell you the prices, even if you're working with a fabricator. This makes it pointless to go here. The problem is that if you are trying to choose a stone slab, you need to see the slab to make a decision. By the time you have written down 10 slab numbers, handed it to your fabricator and waited for a week to find out the prices, you can't remember much about the slab and have to go back. When you mention the inefficiency to the staff, they are indifferent. This is just one location of this chain and it's pretty clear the staff are checked out and it's dysfunctional. If you're looking for stone slabs, go to Contempo. They're very well organized and customer service is excellent. And the have their prices listed on every slab. If you want an efficient and enjoyable experience, just skip Arizona Tile. read more

We are working on doing a remodel and had a general idea of the overall look we wanted but weren't quite sure how to make it all flow together. Devon Austin from the West Valley location helped us so much! He was very attentive and made sure he was aware of our budget when suggesting options. He even had another consultant named Erica come over and give us her opinion. We made a lot of different selections and felt great about how it all turned out. Their showroom is so large and their are so many options to pick from. It could be overwhelming to some but with the help of the staff they didn't bother showing us anything that was outside the budget or that did not fit with the design. It made it so easy! This is a nifty place. We went to the lovely showroom to scout out some tiles for our new fireplace, and were clever enough to bring some photos of the area. One of the lovely helpful ladies there guided us to a few fine choices. She let us bring some samples home so we could see it in the space. If I were doing another kitchen or bathroom (which won't be anytime real soon) I will definitely check it out. Just please, stop playing Christmas music after Christmas. read more

I should begin this review by stating I was made aware of the fact that as a practice Arizona Tile is a wholesaler and sells to contractors thus if you are are buying new stone they ask you to get price quotes from the fabricators and will not quote anything. However, they do give you ranges for what they tend to sell their various levels of stone at. But getting a price quote on a particular stone isn't going to happen so know that going in. They give you a list of fabricators that they work with and its extensive and can take some time to communicate with. I purchased off the blow out rack so they were able to quote me prices on those. And the company made a mistake selling me a stone that wasn't available. I was pretty bummed but Aaron worked with me and wanted most to have a happy customer in the end. At first he looked for something comparable he could let me have in the same price range but when there wasn't anything available, ordered new stones to have shipped in and told me he would give me one at the same price. THAT is making good and THAT is what customer service is about. They gained a customer for life today. read more

I've been to just about every tile showroom in the intermountain west, and while this one has a lot of options, they have the WORST customer service. Just be warned, they will give you one price and your contractor another----so you have to have your contractor call to get the price-----seems like a waste of time because have can you decide if you want the tile you're looking at? Do they not know the sale age that we're in? read more

Very dissapointed with Arizona Tile. I spoke with the girl at the slab desk in May and I asked how long I could hold slabs for as I am in the process of getting ready to build a new home, she told me that it was indefinite as long as a placed a $100.00 deposit on each slab. We discussed having matching slabs and the fact that I needed 6. I told her I was looking at my home taking at least 1 year to complete and explained that I had 2 matching slabs on hold already that I was planning to use to remodel my existing home but now that I have purchased a lot to build a new home on, I wanted to use those slabs and add an additional 4 more matching slabs. She again told me that if I placed a deposit on the slabs that they would hold them indefinitely. Yes those were her EXACT WORDS!! I told her since that is the case then I will give you the deposit today for the other 4 slabs that I need for the new house. Today however October 2nd, the manager called me saying they cant store them anymore and basically acted as though they wanted me to move them from the store to a fabricator, however as the conversation went on I found out the REAL TRUTH and that is SOMEONE ELSE WANTS MY SLABS (apparently when no one wants your slabs its not an issue)... Well I guess thats fine, refund my money and Ill go elsewhere, its a CHUMP MOVE though, just as I told him on the phone... I wont EVER do business with a company like this who does not stand behind their word and treats people in this manner. I would run away from this store as fast as you can!!! We are having the worst experience with Arizona Tile. We ordered the tile and were told it would arrive the end of the Week. Then came a new date, and then another and now another. Still don't have it yet and we are heading into the Christmas and New Year Holidays. Our house remodel and I mean our Whole House is on hold!
