Unfortunately I have to update my review. the sliding French doors have had to be touched up and the finish continues to wear off. when warranty company came out they brought done spray paint to touch up and left us a little can. the finish continued to rub off with inly regular ware. We were under the impression the exterior finish was highly durable but it obviously is not and we have to regularly touch it up ourselves. very expensive upgade to our home and we are disappointed in quality of exterior paint. read more

I don't recommend this company. Don't do it. I see you considering it. Trust me fair reader, you will be absolutely let down, like almost everyone else here who has written a review. I started working with AZ Window and Door Store back in May of 2022 and it wasn't until July 20, 2023 that all 3 doors were officially installed. There are several issues that remain unresolved in May 2024. Two years later. From the start it was a little bit rocky working with Michelle, the sales rep. I was looking to replace my front door and two back doors. I asked about my options; she told me that aluminum doors were expensive, and indicated that aluminum doors were certainly out of my price range (never asked what my price range was). She stated iron doors would be much cheaper. I wish I knew enough to stop her there, but we agreed on 3 iron doors. Michelle insisted that I put down a down payment of $8,418.00 to secure the work. She promised someone would come do measurements and send CAD drawing and once I approved them, they would be installing them within a few months. A couple weeks later the gentleman came to measure. He had to pry off all the framing pieces around the door to get actual measurements. Looking back all this time later, I really wish I had known that his prying would take chunks of the brick wall off with the framing. He didn't offer to put it all back, why would he? With the framing around my front door gone, it became difficult to shut and lock my existing door. He told me to reach out to Michelle for what to do about it. I did, but no resolution. As weeks went on, I begged for updates on CAD drawings of the doors so I could approve them. I was hoping to get it done so the front entry would be secure again. I kept getting replies such as "they are working on it, they [the CAD drawings] take time to produce." Weeks went by... In August of 2022, Michelle accidentally sent me the invoice and design plans for beautiful aluminum doors meant for a different client. Upon closer inspection their invoice was dramatically lower for _aluminum_ doors in comparison to iron doors. It was at this moment I realized I had been lied to. It was disheartening. Immediately, I asked for a refund. She offered no apologies for the pricing differences, but she admitted she was really sorry she accidentally sent me that other client's invoice. She wouldn't commit to a refund. She said let's do this, I'll give you a new estimate for 2 aluminum doors and we'll keep the iron door for the front. Then, during the conversation, Michelle tells me that suddenly she has the CAD drawings from the iron door company that they contract with to make iron doors. I am sure this was manipulation, but the AZ Window and Door had my $8400 already, what could I do? In September 2022 I got an email with drawings of the 2 aluminum doors. I approved those drawing as soon as I could. Then I got no updates. So, I started calling the main office in Scottsdale for help, updates, anything. Lacey and Tiffany from the main office were helpful and they listened to my concerns, but it still took lots of calls to get a solid install date of July of 2023 (Yes, that's a year later from my first down payment). The day of, I politely asked the two men performing the install to let me know if they had any questions, if they needed anything at all. The lead on the job only said three things the entire time "Hello," "Okay," and "We're done, you need to pay." When they showed me the install on one of the doors, I actually couldn't believe they thought they were done. The frame that they custom built, in my backyard with a saw and paint, was now covering more than one light switch panel! And both brand new thresholds had gaps of over 2 inches between it and the carpet, exposing the concrete underneath. They called Scottsdale and said they were done and everything was fine. They handed me the phone and told me "You need to pay." I told whoever was on the other end of the line that was not in fact "fine." We scheduled to have someone re-measure the thresholds and put new ones in. Over the last two years many time things have been promised and as I write this in May of 2024... I realize that they still haven't fixed the light switch panel or the 1-2 inch gap on the thresholds. I will be honest, I gave up. I gave up hope that they would come through on all this. I instead replaced the carpet in that room and had quality professionals fix the gap with the thresholds that AZ Window and Doors of Tucson left. Scorpions were coming through there. The Iron door looks great, but they had a hell of a time fixing the brick that they broke when they measured and installed. Our final decision at this point is just "live with it." read more

Absolutely horrible service!!! We had 20 windows and 2 doors installed. 1 window has already failed, another is about to. All stucco repairs they did have cracked. Sent succo company out to repair (finally) cracks. Found out the did not install windows correctly. Az Windows and Store service mgr came out 2 weeks ago said they will reinstall all windows correctly. Haven't heard from them since. We will be turning this over to our lawyer. Worst customer service we have had. Always one delay after another, if they call you back. Been 2 years already. more than 6 months since they came out and told us window had failed and still no new window. Warranty????? read more

I wish I could write a more positive review. I have read many 5 star reviews on the Scottsdale location, which is great. Not so in Tucson. I have been dealing with this company for well over a year. the first set of replacement windows were installed during a monsoon storm. the caulking never dried. every time it would rain, the windows would streak from the faulty caulk .(as agreed to by the company ). They agreed to replace all 4 windows. when the installer came to install the windows, he cracked one of the larger windows. Here is where the problems begin to compound. Arizona Window & Door does not manufacture their own glass (ie 4 to 6 week lead time). Next time the installer came with replacement glass, it didn't fit the opening. Aonther 4 to 6 weeks. I was assured they would get this right when the installer did another measurement. Charles, the installer came back feeling very cocky and said the would get it "resolved today". Ten minutes later, Charles came in and said he measured it wrong and it wouldn't fit. 4 weeks later, Charles and crew came back with new glass. This time he came in with a rather bad attitude. The window was finally installed and he left without as much as an apology let alone a "goodbye" Think twice before dealing with anyone that doesn't produce their own glass and if you deal with Az Window and Door, hopefully you won't have to work with Charles, who totally lacks any people skills. read more

Everything was alright with this company until the actual day of the install... Techs were friendly and fast, and the 2 windows they replaced looked great, but they neglected to tell us about the several chunks (including one major one) of drywall around the window frames that came out while removing the old windows, as well as drip stains from caulk or something similar. I get it, those things happen, but I would've at LEAST appreciated a heads up and an apology, if not an offer to fix the damage to the frame. Instead they were in a rush to get out (as it was the last job of their day) and made sure to avoid showing me the window with the major damage around it. They also said they would scrape residual caulk off the outside surface of the window, but then just left in a hurry. I received a call a day later from the head office in Phoenix asking for feedback, and when I told them what happened, she said 'Oh, that's too bad, (blank) is usually not like that. I'll tell the manager". Manager never called, so now I'm stuck repairing the damage on my own. Not that it's a huge job, but for the price we paid for these windows I would've at least expected some recognition or apology. On another note, I also replaced my sliding glass back door around the same time, although I went through Tucson Widow and Door. Let me tell you, that experience was a completely different story! Definitely go with them instead. read more

Class act start to finish on a very non-standard door install. Sales (Doug) was very responsive, helped us narrow in on exactly the right products. Install team (Jeff & Brandon) were fantastic. Always quick turn-around from phone call to appointment, always on time, always professional. Jeff did the detailed measurements, placed the order & did the install -- zero miscommunications. During demo, they found several "what were they thinking" issues from previous owners, ripped it out, made it right with no up-charge. Work site was kept organized & spotless throughout. Great follow-up from Doug during & after install. The doors are exactly the high-quality we expected, well worth the investment. The Tucson guys did a fabulous job!!! They were efficient, respectful of my home and covered everything including bookcases and TV's to keep any dust out of my home off my furniture. The workmanship on my two front windows was perfectly done. I'm very happy with the results. The men were very courteous and careful not to harm any part of my home.
