They took out the old asphalt which was already filled with potholes and poured new concrete over it. My nieces love it! They can now draw on the driveway with chalk, something they couldn't do before because the driveway was full of pot holes. The owner, Joseph, seems like a real stand up guy. Luckily, I came across Cary who is the owner of Takenaka Landscaping who actually does all of the things I just mentioned. On my most recent dealing with Cary, he was very prompt when responding, came out right away to assess my yard, and took care of my yard issues (leaking sprinkler/plant issues) right away. I had contacted several other companies just to price around and I ran into all kinds of issues with them. Some didn't call back, some wanted to charge me just to give me an estimate, and one company that was going to fix my leaking sprinkler cancelled on me the day that they were supposed to come out for the job. I loved looking around at all the plants. As in most places in Hawai'i, if you're prone to getting bug bites (aka me), you might wanna spray on some protection or cover up. I love that they have a mix of plants, produce, and really cute products. Everything you'd need from moss poles, spray bottles, ceramic pots of all sizes. I even got a really cute plant sticker for my water bottle.
