Luckily, I came across Cary who is the owner of Takenaka Landscaping who actually does all of the things I just mentioned. On my most recent dealing with Cary, he was very prompt when responding, came out right away to assess my yard, and took care of my yard issues (leaking sprinkler/plant issues) right away. I had contacted several other companies just to price around and I ran into all kinds of issues with them. Some didn't call back, some wanted to charge me just to give me an estimate, and one company that was going to fix my leaking sprinkler cancelled on me the day that they were supposed to come out for the job. In the end, Cary promptly addressed all of my yard issues. I highly recommend Takenaka Landscaping if you're looking for a landscape company!

My yard looked exactly as I hoped it would after they completed it. They cut my grass, swept up all the leaves from my trees, as well as the grass cuttings and disposed of it for me properly. (But side note, to be fair, my husband did at least attempt and cut down half of the overgrown yard but our weed whacker died on us-- believe me when I say, our yard was in bad shape). So, Ray was one of the first people to reach back out to me when I set up a project through Yelp. We had finally set a time for him to come over for a quote but then my husband said he would do it, so I had to back out on Ray. Through it all, Ray was so kind and understanding. Perhaps looking outside at the half gnarly yard and our broken weed whacker after a week along with a list of other things my husband was tasked with, he finally told me, "Let's do it after all." So, I contacted Ray, he came by for a quote which was pretty reasonable and even offered to do a monthly maintenance for a reasonable price. Today our yard is actually looking like a nice yard! It's so clear that it's honestly weird to look at, but we already got compliments from the neighbor (they probably were getting tired of seeing our yard looking a mess this entire time). Better yet, with Ray's help with a monthly maintenance it will continue to look good! Ray is kind, patient and thorough with his job. He is super fast and responsive. This lack of reliability made it difficult to feel that our property was a priority. Additionally, the level of care provided was minimal, limited primarily to basic mowing and blowing. When we raised concerns about our grass not growing properly, there was little to no guidance or transparency on how to improve its condition. Due to these ongoing issues, we will not be using Regan's services again, as reliability and communication are essential to us. On a positive note, we have since worked with Alex at Only Yards, and the difference has been exceptional. Their team is dependable, consistently arrives as scheduled, and demonstrates a genuine commitment to both customer service and the overall health and maintenance of our yard.

They took out the old asphalt which was already filled with potholes and poured new concrete over it. My nieces love it! They can now draw on the driveway with chalk, something they couldn't do before because the driveway was full of pot holes. The owner, Joseph, seems like a real stand up guy. Very humble and down to Earth. His workers were kind, too. Very professional and quick to respond. Price was reasonable for the type of work they did.
