We yelped lunch spots after our visit to the vatican museums. Walked into a clean crisp and welcoming restaurant. Our hostess Valentina was fantastic. She was so attentive and helped up choose the best dishes. The lamb that she recommended was out of this world , the carbonara perfect. Tuna was so fresh and perfectly cooked. The pastas were pretty great too. Definitely a must visit of you are in the area.

We came here after our Vatican tour & was seated inside immediately. The waitress did speak English & she was very kind. This wasn't a planned restaurant & out of our entire Rome trip, this place had my favorite Amatriciana! All the ingredients were perfectly balanced. 100% recommend. It was delicious!

Came here with a group, our guide lives here in the Borgo and this is one of his faves. Terrific service, the food fresh, yummy, the bruschetta was flavorful and not soggy. Many in our group don't speak Italian and there wasn't anything lost in translation It was busy, and not a huge seating area so a bit cramped but we could get by, elbows and hips occ touching others

Absolutely incredible experience! So beautiful! The food was so authentic. The Greek salad was the best we've ever had. The pasta dishes were amazing. I'm from the states and this is amazing food! Fabrizio is the best server around. If you don't stop here for a meal, you've missed Rome!

After our Vatican CIty tour we were ready for lunch and started our search. Yelp led us to this spot. We arrived around 2 on a Thursday afternoon and luckily a corner table outside was waiting for us. Surprisingly, they were busy. Inviting and cozy Trattoria with an enclosed outside seating area. We started with the Burrata appetizer and an Aperol Spritz and Moretti Original Lager. Topped with anchovies, the Burrata was delicious. Complimentary bread was a nice touch. For lunch it was Spaghettoni Felicetti Alla Carbonara -proper Carbonara with Pork cheek vs Pancetta-amazing. From "Our Proposal,"Noodles with Cuttlefish Ragout was excellent. House-made desserts were tempting but we didn't have room nor time. Interestingly, they have a Burger on the menu-the table next to us ordered one and was raving about it. Our server was excellent and took great care of us. If in the Borgo neighborhood, don't miss this gem!

We were able to make reservations for our party of 9 after our visit to the Vatican for 12pm. The inside was very clean, service was fantastic and the food was delicious. This was honestly one of the best meals we had the whole time we were in Rome. From the salad to main course and dessert. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality meal. It's only 8 ish minute walk from Piazza St Peter.

We got seated in the back room which had air conditioning-a pro. However the pros just about ended there. The amatriciana we ordered was hard and undercooked, which was a big surprise for Rome. You could literally see the center was a different color. I had a gnocchi dish which was decent, and the other dishes were so so. The one major issue was even by Italian standards the service was exceptionally slow, and the staff kept forgetting us. The last things we had ordered were two espressos, which they forgot and needed reminding when they brought the bill including the charge for it. The lunch took over 2 hours, and when we left, all the people in the restaurant when we entered had already left, and the place was pretty empty. On the plus sign the bathroom was pretty clean, and everyone was welcoming, if not forgetful.

OMG, so good. Went here after Vatican. Delicious pasta! We started out with the buratta, which was delicious. I had the Amatriciana, and wifey had the Cacio de Pepe which was delicious too. Worth the stop when in Roma.

Aperolized pear with Gorgonzola ice cream! If it's on the desert menu get it! One of the most creative deserts I had in Europe. Super delicious! The menu has a great selection of food choices. This was definitely one or our favorite spots in Rome. Its about a block away from the Vatican. The services is very good and super friendly compared to other locations thru out Rome. The services here was excellent! Very small restaurant with lots of room outside to take in the Europe dinner experience. Great place, highly recommend

Food and service was excellent. We had the rib of lamb, stuffed chicken, anti pasta plate, tiramisu, Black Forest cake and pear and ricotta. Everything was excellent. Best meal so far.

Daniel, the son of the chef and part owner was gracious and conversational and made great recommendations for our dinner. We started with a crispy sage leaf appetizer made simply with sage leaves lightly battered and fried in olive oil. Yummy! All of the pasta is made fresh and Mary selected Ravioli ricotta e Spinach while I selected Saltimbocca alla romana (Veal slices in Roman style) and both dishes were delicious. After dinner we opted out of dessert, but Daniel brought a treat to the table consisting of two sugar coated cookies and suggested we soaking them in our wine as a final treat. They were Wonderful! So far one of the best meals we have had in Rome. We would both highly recommend this restaurant, both for the family atmosphere and the great food. We hope to return before leaving Rome.

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

It's intimate, cozy authentic Italian charm. The staff here are wonderfully kind and welcoming, making an already memorable meal feel even more special. Show up right at opening if you want to secure a table immediately, as this local treasure fills up incredibly fast! We started with the artichoke, which was quite possibly the best artichoke I've ever tasted in my life. Ubelievably tender and served bathed in rich olive oil that elevated every single bite. The Amatriciana was my personal favorite dish of the night, featuring a rich red sauce packed with a subtle kick of heat and finished with a generous dusting of fresh Parmesan. The stuffed chicken was remarkably tender, juicy, and wonderfully seasoned with delicate flavors that don't overpower. Lastly, the lasagna was everything a classic lasagna should be: wonderfully cheesy and deeply comforting, yet light enough that it doesn't weigh you down. Easily one of my favorite dining spots in all of Europe. I already can't wait for the day I get to return again!
