My sweet baby
Audrey S.

I absolutely love this place! Dr. Frey has been a godsend for my fur baby with IBD. I found Arlington Cat Clinic after one of my cats had been hospitalized in January for vomiting and not eating. I immediately felt better knowing it was a cat only practice. Dr. Frey has helped us through some tough times of not knowing what was wrong with my baby. Endless tests and phone calls of me asking so many questions. She has been so thorough and patient with me. The vet techs are also amazing!!! I can never say enough good things about this place. I live in Highland Park and will gladly drive the distance. Midnight and Baby Cat are so grateful for everyone who works here :) Even through covid, I have had many vet visits, and the phone calls during the visit have been so thorough. I've felt completely comfortable waiting in the car knowing my babies are in good hands.

After Dr. Gloria and Dr. Bob left/sold the place it went downhill fast. Would NOT take my cat there at all.

Ask the Community - Arlington Cat Clinic

Do you do boarding for cats? If so, how are they cared for? Are they caged 100% of the time, or do they get any "fun time" like dog boarding places do?

What can your clinic do for fleas on my cat? The store products we bought are not helping her. We are so stressed.

Ok. Don't panic. I've been through this a couple times. You've got to get this kind of treatment from a Veterinarian. Frontline & many products like it are preventative not a post facto mediocre & ultimately ineffective option. Get to your vet ASAP,…

So, we were lucky enough to see Dr Gloria and she was kind, compassionate, and gentle with my beloved boy.

During the appointment, Dr. Kumar was dismissive in tone, raised his voice when questioning me, and left the room while I was still asking for clarification about my dog's condition and available options. I did not receive clear or supportive communication during a very serious medical visit. After I expressed that I was uncomfortable with the interaction, a nurse told me word for word: "Dr. Kumar is a little biased right now." The nurse further explained that this was due to an interaction with a previous customer yesterday. I want to be very clear: the term "biased" was not my interpretation or assumption it was the exact language used by a staff member. Additionally, details about another client's interaction should not be shared with current customers in a medical setting, especially as an explanation for a doctor's demeanor or judgment. Being told that a veterinarian evaluating a seriously injured animal is "biased," for any reason, is alarming and inappropriate. It directly affected my confidence in continuing care at that facility. Because of the conduct during the visit and the statement made by staff, I chose to leave and seek care elsewhere. I was still charged for the appointment. I subsequently took my dog to another veterinary clinic, where the doctor was calm, professional, and took the time to clearly explain the situation and next steps. That experience showed how unprofessional my experience at Randhurst Animal Hospital truly was. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Randhurst Animal Hospital or Dr. Kumar, particularly for urgent cases where clear communication, professionalism, and emotional neutrality are critical.

He then told us that the levels were high in August but they did not alert us until we had another appointment in November. If they knew about it in August why would they not tell us? He shows no sign that he cares and said he would send over a list of specialists. We receive it and it's just a list of other vet locations (no doctor names) and no specifics if they specialize in our dog's disease. The vet techs are friendly but I do not recommend this doctor. Also they charge you $ if your dog pukes in the hospital which I think is pretty messed up cause it is a hospital and our poor dog was sick.

It was very obvious Dr. Gill did not care about the wellbeing of my animal and during an emergency, he advised me to come in so he could check on my dog and when I got there, without even looking at my dog, he had a staff member tell me it would be in my dog's best interest to go to the ER. Obviously, having me drive an hour to Dr. Gill's office during a MEDICAL EMERGENCY, only to be told they did not want to give treatment and to drive to an ER 1 hour away, in the opposite direction, is NOT in my pet's best interest! One staff member was especially rude to my mother when she was trying to understand the medical terms he was using (english is her second language) and spoke down to us and treated us like we did not matter. Most of the vet techs were very kind and treated us like human beings (one of the girls was very kind to my dog and I am so grateful for her compassion), but I can't say the same for Dr. Gill and his main assistant. Bottom line: If you love your animal and want them to see a vet that actually cares about their health/wellbeing, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE! Instead, find a vet that won't treat you like an ATM!

I'm not one who generally leaves reviews, but Dr Schaele and his team deserve mention. You and your pet will not regret choosing BGAH for your pet's needs. Can you tell how much I'm pleased? Ha! Giving Dr Schaele a solid 10 starts out of 5. ********** Thank you Dr Schaele for the phenomenal care and comfort you have ALWAYS provided for Katie, and me, too. You're the BEST!!!

The most frustrating part was Apoquel: I was quoted roughly $600 for a month's supply through their preferred option, while Amazon Pharmacy had the same medication for about $90. That is an enormous price difference, and the lack of clear communication made the whole thing feel unprofessional and unnecessarily difficult. The facility also felt very outdated and not especially well maintained. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this clinic.

Maggie simply and immediately accepted Dr. Kriner's presence, decided she welcomed pets and affection from this sweet person she had never met.
