Amazing experience! We saw a concert last night at Arlington Music Hall. This was our first time here. TICKETING We found the concerts we wanted to see on the Arlington Music Hall's website. Then we initiated our purchases online through their ticketing agent - Eventbrite. We got a confirmation via email from Eventbrite. TICKET SAVING We downloaded the Eventbrite app and were able to download our tickets into our Apple Wallets on our iPhones. Perfect! PARKING There is free street parking in front of and around the corner from the venue. There is a lot and ramps within a block or two that are also free. Winning! DOORs vs SHOW Our show start time was 8pm. Doors for this show opened at 6:00. We were not able to go into the theater portion of the facility until 7:30. We arrived around 7:00. LOBBY, BAR, SNACK BAR There were staff members in the lobby scanning tickets for entry and that went fast. You may stand in the lobby area to wait for the theater doors to open, but the space there is limited. Behind the lobby is the Bar and Snack Bar area. There are a number of small, round high-top tables to stand at and there are cushioned bench seats along two long walls to sit on. The Bar also has some tall chairs for customer use. We didn't buy any cocktails, so no idea on the cost but I've read that its reasonable. The Snack Bar has water, beer, soft drinks, candy, popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, bbq sandwiches and such. And the pricing is very reasonable vs any other live music venue I've been too. RESTROOMS The restrooms are located near the bar/snack bar. I found the men's room to be clean, have a number or urinals and stalls. Very functional. THEATER GENERAL The Theater has two entry doors, so two long aisles from back to front. The sound and light boards are located between the aisles at the back of the theater (between the entry doors). About 2/3 the way towards the stage, there is an aisle going across the theater connecting the two long aisles. There is a balcony. Unsure if/when it is used, how many seats it has or how to access it. STAGE The stage is quite large in width and depth. It has a very high ceiling which likely easily accommodates tall backdrop set pieces and curtains. SOUND I saw short linear array speakers hanging from the ceiling in front of the stage. There may have been some subwoofer modules on stage behind curtains - unsure. The sound was quite adequate for this space. Note too that the walls seems to be concrete or stucco, so pretty reflective of sound. The sound team seemed to do a great job of managing levels and EQs. LIGHTING There are various uplighting on stage, downlighting above stage, lighting at the ceiling maybe 40 feet out from stage plus spot lights, likely up near the balcony. Lighting was well done and that team was responsive to the entertainers needs as he called out from stage a couple of times. SEATING / AISLE DEPTH Wow the seating was really comfortable. Cushy and wide and with cup holders in each of the arm rests. The aisle depth at your feet was enough that people could pass by you without the need for you to stand or leave your row. CONCLUSION We been to a lot of theaters around the country. This one is quite comfortable. More so that many we've been too. We have two more shows booked to see here. Love the comfortable seatings and friendly staff. It's a nicely remodeled venue. Acoustics for the place could be better. We went to the Dallas Majestic Theater the week after and found the sound system at Majestic clearer and more immersive. But the Arlington Music Hall scores for seats, bathroom, and service. I have passed this place several times on our way to Babes chicken to eat.Ive always wanted to check it out.Well once again we were on our way to eat at babes chicken and we saw Crystal Gayle coming Saturday.I got home later that evening and decided to get tickets to go see her.Let me tell you this place is a gem.This place is very intimate and there isn't a bad seat in the house.And the seats are really comfortable.They also have a nice little bar and the prices are actually pretty reasonable.They also have a little snack bar that sales hot dogs,popcorn,BBQ sandwiches and a few other things.I was impressed with this place and would highly recommend it if you never been there.Also after the concert we went to the bar to have a couple of beers and as we were leaving we saw Crystal over at the table taking pictures and signing autographs.Which was pretty cool.She was really friendly and would sign anything you had without buying anything but we bought one of her magnets.I can say this,she can still sing and put on a good show.A great night overall. read more

Warning, their ticketing system is HORRIBLE and their customer service is rude and dishonest. We ordered tickets for the upcoming Prince tribute show; we selected 4 tickets but we were charged for 8. We called guest services and were told that other guests had similar issues with their system, that it wasn't working properly. They promised to remedy the situation. After a week we had to call back. Now they are claiming they have no control over their own ticketing system and that they cannot help to provide a refund for a concert that is 72 days away. With mistakes like this we cannot afford to take chances with a concert experience at this venue again. read more

My husband and I bought tickets to the Patsy Cline Tribute. It was canceled due to Covid-19. When they rescheduled my husband was diagnosed with a serious heart condition and we requested a refund. We were told they would Not refund us but would issue a gift certificate. In July we were issued a gift certificate. We recently tried to book tickets to a show in December but the web site to purchase tickets would not except the gift certificate. We have made numerous calls but No answer as well as reached out through the email they suggested. They have failed to help us!! We reached out to the City Of Arlington and the suggested filing with the BBB as well as with Yelp. Our credit was for $115.21 that they are ripping us off for. Great venue for a concert. Large, comfortable seats with lots of room between rows so maneuvering down the isles is a breeze. Acoustics seemed very good and ample bar areas with good selections of liquors. I definitely want to enjoy another show there! I owed my wife a show since she's attended a lot of concerts with me for artists she really didn't care about. Turns out she picked Air Supply! Volunteered at Arlington Music Hall for Steven Curtis Chapman. This place was clean, spacious and easy to find. The staff was friendly and the sound quality was amazing! I can't wait to go back to see another show. I thought it was great that the food area was open and the food was great. They had simple food available such as hot dogs and nachos. I have seen many concerts at the Arlington Music Hall and they have all been really professional and awesome. That is until tonight. We went to see 1999 Tribute to Prince. Danny Allen was the lead singer. This show was a debacle, a complete train wreck. The sound was horrendous because the sound guy turned the microphones up as loud as they would go and the whole show sounded distorted. The singer admitted he showed up late at one point during the show and at times didn't know all the words to the songs. He shrieked a yelled into the microphone and my ears were bleeding. Good lord, we left early! I spoke to the Manager in charge and got an apology, but it felt hollow. No refund of course. I hope there hasn't been some change in management because if they think that show passes for entertainment then they are in trouble. read more

I've lived in Arlington for over 40 years and last night was the fist time I attended Arlington Music Hall, mostly because it used to be only C&W. We saw the Association last night and enjoyed the "oldies" concert. Like the small venue, employees were very attentive. Eats and alcohol prices were very reasonable. Wide aisles between rows and cup holders on each seat. Venue holds about 500 people. It was sad last night though, poor turnout. I think it is a lack of advertising. Newspaper ads (print and online) might help. Also, while waiting for the show to start the venue should show who is coming in the next few months on the screen. If they get more oldies groups, perhaps let the senior citizen centers know! We will return. read more

Never ever buy tickets from Ticket-Center!! Why Arlington Music Hall would allow such a vendor is mind boggling. Never ever get diagnosed with Cancer and the bottom falls out of your world and cant attend. Never ever try to get a refund from Tickey-Center, it will not happen. Never ever go to the Arlington Music Hall GM for her assistance, that wont happen either. Never ever pay $180.88 for tickets and have the emails too that were out of luck and less the $180.88 that could be used for gas to drive the 450 miles round trip DAILY to the hospital for care and NOT be entitled to a refund even on a humanitarium level. Worst customer service experience ever....if theyre so much better than us. Prove me wrong and walk on water...never ever! read more

I bought the concert with Felix Cavalier (Rascals) in June. A few of the band members caught covid and the concert was cancelled. I called the day of the concert to confirm the starting time of the concert. The person there said "there is no concert tonight. Its been cancelled, the band members caught covid" I wasnt notified and I need to have a refund. He took my name and phone number. "I will get back to you" Long story short, they never called back, I disputed it with mastercard and somehow they said to mastercard, it was my responsibility! Ugh!!! They can book who they want but booking Aaron Carter is a big ole bad judgement call. Many other venues have cancelled his shows because of his recent history. You can find the "stuff" all over with a search engine. His activities and history along with many, many allegations are right there on his own IG and YT posts. Many ppl have asked them at AMH to not support him but they sent ppl a rude email when confronted with proof of what he does and says. They DO NOT care, regardless of the other venues that did the right thing. Be aware that this particular artist had a NO REFUND policy for shows regardless of if he appears. I know when I'm in Texas, I'll never look for a show here. Not a great look for this venue. read more

I rented this venue for a Burlesque show last September which was so well received I was asked by the venue to continue producing more shows. The venue is beautiful and recently renovated with new comfortable seats, drink holders and it offers my patrons the ability to select the exact seat they want. Their Green Room spaces are some of the best I've seen. They offer a full bar and real food concessions that make it ideal. Plus, I love all the free parking options in the area. Way better than trying to go to Deep Ellum (which BTW is only 20 miles away). Easy drive from downtown Dallas by way of 30 & Center Street. Straight shot! Looking forward to my next production on March 8th, followed by one on 9/14. read more

Arlington Music was a really quaint event space. It was on the smaller side so it allowed us to have a more intimate experience. This was my first visit to the music hall and I was excited to hear the beautiful sounds of the holiday season. But, I have 4 words that can't even adequately describe the performance. "A Little Pitchy Dog". There was not one song that any of the performers sang by themselves or together as a group where they didn't butcher it. I kept waiting for the moments of music where they needed to give it their all and each one stopped short. The group appeared to not have been singing together very long, their voices did not meld together, they each were competing and several times I cringed. Almost every song was not in the right key or octave. The children were cute, the music box ballerina was the highlight for me and the funniest part of the show was the elf following the words with us big red pointer. I do not know if they held auditions or just accepted who showed up but I cannot believe we paid over $100 for 3 seats for a show that seemed put together by middle school students. read more

Loved this venue. People were nice. Seats were great. No lines. Lots of fun. Afterwards Mark's Wills stayed and signed autographs and took pictures by his merch table. I'm not sure if every artist would do this, but it was appreciated and made his fans feel good to stay and hang out. The music was way to loud.... when all the singers were singing (all loud) it was not a good mesh. Some parts were OK, the ballerina, the country fiddler, the Elvis's. they just need to tone it down a little. A lot of not mixing, a few off notes. Not the quality you would expect for the money we paid. the kids were good. If my granddaughter wasn't dancing in it (Arlington Colt Kickers), I wouldn't have gone. read more

If you're there to go listen to Arlington Symphony, be warned nobody below the age of 80 goes. The acoustics are god awful. The audience has no basic knowledge of orchestra concert etiquette (clapping between movements, talking while tuning goes on, forgetting to turn off their phones, talking during the music). The orchestra itself is decent at best due to the poor horn and brass section. The strings are great although the violins seems to forget how to play in tune when they go below a mezzoforte. read more

We went to see Gene Watson at this venue. Everyone inside was wonderfully friendly and helpful. If you get tickets in the balcony be prepared to climb several flights of stairs. We had our 87 year old mother with us so it took us awhile to get to our seats because she is a little shaky on stairs. The only bathroom is on the ground floor so take that into account also. All in all it was a great time and a wonderful place. One last note, this place is not second amendment friendly. There are 30.06 and 30.07 posted. This keeps me from giving it five stars. read more
