Unfortunately, this company is full of lies and false advertisement. They advertise a free truck…read morerental which in actuality isn't free, they put $19.99 towards your rental (which is refunded and you have to go pick it up from the site), we ended up paying the same price as if we rented from Uhaul ourselves. Also, there is a two month coupon on the website that states it is for new residents only. When I went into the office to use this service, I was told the coupon is for residents who have rented for 12 months and can utilize the coupon for their 13 and 14th month. There is no fine print on the website showing these terms. I called the corporate office and was told customer complaints aren't taken over the phone. This company clearly lies to draw people in and do not have any remorse for it.

For Me it Normally boils down to Service (customer service). So no wonder after contacting Affordable Self Storage in Puyallup I became a customer. They met my standards. I called at the end of the business day after an exhausting search for a storage unit. I already thought I knew the location I would pick up a rental truck so I was not looking to rent one at the storage unit. Pat took the time; (remember this is at the end of his day), to let me know about Affordable Self Storage. He provided me with enough information that I let him know I would come in the next morning or early afternoon to look at the rentals. I arrived to find a gentleman behind the counter that was very customer service orientated; Pat greeted me as I introduced myself letting him know I was the person he spoke with the night before on the phone. As he had said he would do, he had my name written down on his day planner as his reminder of what I would be coming in for. He took the time in person to explain the company's Process/Policies concerning the rental units. It was raining!! Of course!! (We are in Western WA) he took me out to the unit showing me the 10x10 I had requested to see. Deal was done. Come to find out, I was able to rent a moving truck from him to be picked up and dropped off at his location. Great day for me all the moving needs I needed to take care of for the upcoming move done in one location. (Storage & Rental Truck) Note: Affordable Self Storage has a maintenance employee on site during the day very professional and helpful; forgive me I do not recall his name. QUALITY Customer Service, Friendly atmosphere, good conversation as documents completed. I would recommend this company to anyone seeking a company that has an employee like Pat working for them. So frustrating when it's supposed to be automatic. They also don't reply to emails, so you have to go in during office hours.
