It's for all ages that they can enjoy the pool, but only certain age could be going on the slice. That's a big slice that gets 2 turns inside the tunnel and water pushes all the way from the top to bottom. It looks so much fun. The community center is also renting out the meeting rooms for different occasions, like parties. On the wall, there are different programs information. I have spent time doing work here to change things up. There is free wifi and places to sit down to work. I did that well before the pandemic, so I'm not sure what things are like these days. This community centre used to be a voting poll. I have cast my vote a bunch of times over the years, but it seems to have been cast off the voting poll island in recent years. Armandale Community Centre took over that roll, except for our recent federal election. Pacific Mall took over, which was nice and weird. The washrooms aren't the cleanest here. The last time I used the women's washroom, it was disgusting. I hope that things are better these days. There is a large pool. If you are a parent, you can watch your kids swim from afar through windows. These days, I simply go through the McDonald's drive-thru. Depending on how hungry I am, I'll either park and eat, or take five minutes to drive home. Recently, it was the former. Afterwards, I threw my garbage out. The recycle and garbage area is in front of the main entrance. There is also a recycling depot here, just behind McDonald's. You can drop off Styrofoam from electronics and appliances, which I had to do recently. I liked how the Pool sign was missing the letter l in front of the main entrance. Milliken Mills High School is next door. Perhaps a student there decided to cause some mischief. I enjoyed the laugh! (385)

A lot of people have the WowFactor when they walk in because it's huge! Entering in the main blue doors, there is a mini area where the vending machines, offices, changerooms and washrooms are before you enter the revolving doors and into the dome. There are two individual washrooms here - they usually do a pretty good job of cleaning these up because a lot of kids use these and kids seem to have a difficult time using washrooms sometimes. It used to be a little unclear for people, but please push the door to the right because when one person pushes the door to the left, the dome will begin to deflate and also, the correct direction of the door will become stuck. Inside the dome, it's fake grass so it works year-round and it's equipped with two large nets and four mini nets for younger children. There are soccer balls available and is used with the City of Markham and Unionville Milliken Soccer programs. Many other people who rent the dome will need to bring their own soccer balls.

This soccer dome is pretty standard - 4 change rooms, plenty of bleachers to spectate, and 2 benches for the teams to sit on. The net are miniature compared to outdoor, but that's expected. The ceiling is pretty high (higher than Mt. Joy), and so the ball rarely goes out of bounds in this manner. The field is a good size and allows for a nice game of 7v7. The only negative about this place is the parking. There are very few parking spots in their parking lot - probably only enough for 1 team's cars; however, there's a McDonald's parking lot right across that has plenty of space.

Anyone looking for some sand action, here's your fix. Beach Blast offers Friday night and Sunday…read moreafternoon drop ins. I've been to the Friday night drop in ($17, from 9pm - 1am) a few times now and actually quite liked it as compared to the other indoor volleyball courts in Toronto. HUGE area with super cool post industrial/factory "decor" from the previous operation. A little challenging to get up there if you don't have a car, walking up a dark street from the bus stop..is not for the faint of heart. Getting home from there at night via TTC is another challenge. Best advice: carpool/ taxi, or go for their Sunday (DAY ITME) drop-ins Liked that it's not too cold inside since it wouldn't be nice to freeze the moment you stopped playing/ waiting for the next game. It's usually not too busy when I was there, so it's awesome not to be sitting around and wait. I find that people that play there are friendlier as well. Good mix of people playing 2's, 4's and 6's. Not too hard to find a partner/team if you go alone. Here's how it works when I was there, Winner stay, loser out. You find a partner/team and go to the court you want to play in, call the next game and play the winner. If there's a lineup, then usually peeps would agree on maximum 3 wins per team consecutively. Sometimes there's a flipping score broad laying around, it will be great if you can ask someone along the side to keep score. If not, just keep score and call out every time one serve. Yes, yes, it's just a game, why take it so seriously? Well, nothing is more annoying for people who are called the next game just to found out that NOBODY were keeping score. There are lots of space and showers in the washroom. Go through a maze and then you will find the ladies washroom. A little sign/direction where the washroom is will be much appreciated for the first timers. Beach Blast also offers leagues, clinics and tournaments of which I have never been, but heard good things about. If it's not for the location, I most likely will sign up for more activities at Beach Blast.

Beach Blast is worth a shot if you're looking to get your beach volleyball fix…read more Pros: Lots of courts (including outdoor) Cons: Poor ventilation (leads to very hot temperatures inside) I came here for a tournament on a Monday night. First thing I noticed as soon as I walked in was how hot and humid it was. This places doesn't have very good ventilation at all. There were 16 teams at this tournament so there were a lot of bodies inside which made it worse. It was a hot day temperature wise outside but it was like heaven compared to inside the venue. They need to do something about that. Other than the heat problem, Beach Blast is otherwise not a bad place to play. There are a good number of courts available. They even have some courts dedicated to beach dodge ball. Outside, there are another set of courts available (why weren't we playing there?) as well. There's a little bar at the front that serves cold drinks. I was not able to located a water fountain of any sort so bring your own water unless you're willing to pay for it. Something to note, if you come in the evening, it's very dark when you l;eave as the lighting in the area is not good at all. It's located in an industrial area so plan accordingly, specially if you don't drive. All in all, Beach Blast is pretty much like all the other indoor volleyball courts I've been to. It's not going to wow you at any point but you'll have a great time nonetheless.

At least when it comes to Trampoline! It's been a while since I bounced here but I did for two years. You will regularly rub shoulders with Olympic medalists who are all really nice and friendly. Cons: Some of these are cons for me, but might not be for you, so just a heads up. They only have drop in sessions during the summer and during the winter its class only. During the drop in sessions I find 1/5 coaches helpful, and learn more from other bouncers then the trainers. That said, there are actually 2 or 3 really amazing coaches that have done wonders working with me and I still think this is a 4/5 star place.
