Professionalism: the lady they have working in their office could probably do with some customer service etiquette training. The service person also cancelled 3x before coming out to fix the gate with no explanation of service charges or an estimate before finishing the work. I told my mom going forward please get everything in writing from all people providing services, but I believe most professionals would give you a break down of services to be rendered so you don't get charged 314 dollars for changing the batteries in an automatic gate. We got charged for a service call, labor, and parts. Usually you only get charged for a service charge if you decide not to go forward with the work. Communication: my mom had to get in touch with the lady in their office several times in order to get a quote with part numbers and weirdly the numbers on the verbal and email estimates kept changing, leading us to believe they're not really charging based on anything written down. I think it's super unprofessional to not follow up with an invoice or estimate rendered but that's our fault for chasing them down, we should have just left it alone. Accusation: I overheard the woman on the phone say that my mom didn't want to pay the bill we were given and my mom explained the service person didn't take payment at the time of service like other people in other industries have done. The woman argued with my mom about the bill when my mom asked if she was going make changes to the invoice and send her an updated invoice. My mom explained the service person gave her nothing but the carbon for the 314 dollar estimate. I feel that this situation was very confusing with poor communication and service and a lack of professionalism and poise on the company representatives part. I understand that everyone has bad days and if the owner would like to chat about our experience I am happy to discuss it with him or her but I currently do not recommend this company as I feel they didn't hit the level of service the other reviews had left. I read reviews religiously and look at them as opportunities for business owners to know what's happening in their business, but I don't leave them without serious consideration. Unfortunately the customer rep was so unhelpful I am leaving this Google review. Thanks for reading. Update: Spoke to the owner, didn't feel he handled it professionally. Especially considering he just wanted to go on a rant about "libtards" and "snowflakes". Ok... great response to the question of are you aware of the specifics of the service call. They called me around 1 pm and said they had the wrong address so I gave them the right one and he showed up 5 minutes later. Ryan came in and checked the opener as well as the rollers, he opened and closed the door manually several times, got a ladder and went up and checked the box. He explained to me what he saw and how much it would be, gave me some options including an option of a slightly bigger spring since we were thinking of adding insulation for the same cost. Broke down each part, springs $300+, rollers $80+, and 1/2 horsepower Craftsman Opener $370+. This includes all the work and would take about 3 hours since they have to order the parts. They take half as a down payment and the rest when it's in to your satisfaction. I'm still getting quotes but it's a good 1st experience for us.

Had my 2 of my doors left open overnight because we thought it closed all the way but the second hit the bottom it would open back up as we came to learn. Happened half a dozen times. Before he replaced my doors they never did that, this was post install issues. Asked him to come check them out and troubleshoot it. He couldn't figure out why so he started getting upset at me and threw his hands up in the air (literally) "I don't know why they are doing that!" Not a solutions guy.
