I made the mistake of coming back here after one of the barbers, Steve completely gave me an uneven fade the last time but I was in a bind as my normal barber in Plainview was not working today and I had a flight going to Chicago later this evening. I ended up going here because of convenience and ended up getting Steve again. Not only did he royally mess up my hair cut again, he was supposed to give me a fade but instead ended up giving me a faux hawk. Not only does this guy not know how to do a proper fade, he started saying I should've told him not go up so high. Seriously? I've never had to tell a barber not to give me a faux hawk before ever! Rude! I took my 3 year old in for a cut. I picked a number from one of the posters, to which the barber said, 'sure'. Ten minutes later he asked me if i liked it...but it looked nothing like what I had picked. And it didn't look good. I asked him about the cut I had picked and he said, 'well your son's hair is different.' Why hadn't he mentioned that before he butchered my son's hair? Then he moved onto the next excuse, that the cut was bad bc my son had moved around too much. So first he didn't have the right hair, and then he moved too much. Alex has been my barber for years. He is an absolute artist. I also consider him a good friend. We have lengthy conversations about life when it's slow, but also when it's busy. He's in high demand! Just stepped out this place. The guy opposite from Armani cut my hair (Don't know his name). I told him "give me a 2 on the sides and low fade. Do not go high" He uses an obviously lower number than a 2 then tries to tell me that I don't know what a 2 is. And cuts it so short and high. Terrible barber. read more

Alex is an excellent barber. Since I have hair as thick as a horse, he did a wonderful job fading my mane. Price was decent too $15 for a really nice fade. Funny conversations and the old time feel of a barber shop, completed with a hot towel. I would definitely go back here. Espn on 3 Tvs, so sports is always on. read more

First time i went there, dude cut me. Second time i went there an older dude who must of just gotten his barbershop license and looked like he never cut hair before, "cut" my hair. The reason for the quotes being it looked like i didn't even get a haircut, I went to Sal and Gabi's barbershop 5 minutes after i went to this one and the dude straight up said i looked like i hadn't "got a haircut in a few weeks." If you go here, go to Alex only, i hear he's not too bad. read more
