The installers were out of Fort Meyers and though overall I was pleased with the quality of their work, they arrived 5 hours late for the after-inspection clean up/ caulking because their schedule was so jammed. I had to wait- I had to call- no one advised me they would be late. The dispatcher was clueless. You would think someone could pick up the phone to return a call but everyone is too busy. Also if you are planning to use MySafe Florida Home, they are absolutely zero help with that. Quite disappointing. I wish I had researched this a bit more and got a locally based company instead.

They are not responsible for damage and repairs caused by installation. The stucco around the outside of the windows is damaged and can be seen from across the street. The estimate to repair the damage by stucco company is $1400. There is also a serious lack of communication by all the different parties involved. To begin with, Heath will be your consultant, measure and give you estimates, talk about color options, etc.. We went with dark bronze, which is a very rich dark brown (almost black). Heath is so great at answering questions and getting back to you promptly. He made the process very pleasant and stress free. Once the decision is made, the measurements will be double-checked by another person, and doors/windows will be ordered. They will work with HOAs and will do all the permitting and inspection scheduling. On the day of the inspection, you will have someone come early,make sure all is good, and then once the approval is done, finish all the details like capping screws etc Johnny and his son John were absolutely fantastic, so friendly, extremely thorough, and went through everything twice and more Any concern was addressed, and they literally took all the time needed to make sure everything was perfect. Some info: - Plan ahead as it took about 3 months for everything to be custom-made, so don't expect a fast turnaround - You will have a little out of pocket cost for fixing parts that are a result of changing old doors like tile or stucco repair (like if the old door was too big and the old tiles didn't go all the way). i contracted with sts impact windows and doors to install hurricane impact windows and doors in my…read morehouse in boca raton. the salesperson was friendly appeared capable and made several visits to measure with more experienced fellow workers. we spent a great deal of time together but i realized after the job that the company failed to communicate any of the potential issues or additional costs and they never took the time to visit the job site during the installation. the entire experience became a total disaster! on the day of the installation, i learned the installation crew were not employees but an outside contractor. after the first windows were removed, i questioned the method of removing them as the damage to the walls around the windows during the replacement was extensive. the sub-contractor told me his crew would do the repairs but at additional cost. as i was fortunate to have a contractor working at the house, i told the sts representative that i was not interested in his offer. *the cost of repairing the windows came to more than 25% of the total job cost.* no representative of sts visited the work site during the installation and no one mentioned we should expect the extensive damage that we experienced. after the installation speaking with sts employees, they told me the salesperson and the sub-contractor had been fired. we were told that the windows were custom made for our space. after the installation we learned that all of our window shutters were now useless since the new windows were a different size. sts failed to mention this and as we were getting custom windows, we did not consider new shutters would be needed. being industry professionals and claiming to pride themselves in excellence and their values, one would expect sts would inform their customer that the shutters would be rendered useless and the customer should expect to replace them. *we did replace the shutters and this added almost 30% more to the job.* so much more of this disaster to share. bushes were trampled and broken all around the house. a desk was taken apart without our knowing and damaged, new carpeting was not protected and was stained. finishing pieces for the doors were not available during the installation and took six weeks after the installation to install. sts has taken no responsibility for the lack of communication, shoddy workmanship, damages to our property and terrible service. *stay away from this unprofessional company as they have zero interest in customer service and don't appear to have any experience window experts on their staff.*

These are the most awful…read moreand dishonest persons I've ever met and I had the whole house remodeled from ceiling to the ground so I employed a lot of persons. It was not easy but most of the time people here in Florida are correct. All impact is just the single exception. They told us "don't worry it's written 24 weeks in the contract but it should be done before the hurricane season" and this was march the 1st. Our windows have been installed November the 7th and they just destroyed the walls and the windows have deficiencies. They said it was because of the manufacturing delays but did nothing the get the permit on time which made the delays even longer. We've had hurricane Ian in the meantime. They destroyed the fresh painted walls and didn't want to cure "because it's not written in the contract". So you as a customer will sign a contract that only engages YOU don't expect them to feel responsible for anything. If I had not retained the final payment until they cured they would have done nothing (he screens just fell on us, one glass has a distorsion and the walls were damaged) and they kept on harassing and threatening me to get paid. THE WORST COMPANY AND PERSONS I'VE EVER MET
