Obtained several quotes and BNT competitive but not lowest cost. Recommendation from a neighbour swung it. Three sliding doors and one window. Several options but salesmen very helpful in selecting right option. Delivery 12 weeks. Deposit 40% plus 40% on day of install. Better terms than some others. Tech came to confirm the salesmen's measurements. Two Brazilian guys installed efficiently despite rain. Follow up tech did punch list and inspection just fine. Final visit to finish a few minor issues. Always on time and clean and polite. Really could ask no more except no hurricanes please. Final nice touch. When I asked the tech on the final visit he said to spray with WD40 silicone spray. He did so and said " hey keep the old tin for when you need it". All in all good team and good work read more

Something terrible happened to this company over the past few years. They did phenomenal work on multiple houses of ours back in 2018/19, but this last experience has made it clear that the company we dealt with back then is gone. Due to poor communication, time-management and unfulfilled promises and deadlines, it took nearly an entire year to install two back-sliding doors and an impact door. The installation crew left paint stains on my driveway which were never repaired nor compensated for. To make things worse, we were served with a Claim of Lien that stated the supplier was owed money by BNT. This was three months after we first received a Notice to Owner warning us that our property could have a lien held against it if their suppliers were not paid (BNT told us to not worry about it. What a joke). We ended up calling the supplier who promptly gave us a Satisfaction of Lien release. We're hoping this marks the end to the nightmare that has been dealing with BNT. My family, friends and neighbors, all on OUR recommendation, have given BNT over $100,000 in business. We will NEVER recommend them ever again. If you're looking for a recommendation to hire this company... you're not gonna get one from me. Starting with the salesperson selling us a tinted glass. Something he knew full well wasn't going to happen and avoiding the issue afterwards. The entire debacle took a year when all was said and done, from signing the contract to the final faulty piece being reinstalled. At least three "no call, no shows" to fix problems and one for an appointment to fix issues after the primary inspection. This company's customer service is a joke and absolutely sub par. We'd wait days for responses to emails and phone calls sent about issues that they needed to address, it took the final tech to notice that the door handle and track were installed incorrectly. I wouldn't recommend this company even if they were the only company available. read more

Decent product (PGT) but horrible customer service and communication with customers. Once I made my initial deposit it felt as if I was no longer important. My sales rep would just not answer text messages with questions I had until after calling him a few times. Windows from the factory came in and some didn't look new as expected with tape everywhere and A LOT of extra silicone everyone. One of the windows Were measured wrong and had to wait months to get that installed correctly. The windows themselves I believe to be good quality. But this review is not about the windows it's about the company that provides the windows. My opinion stay with the product (PGT) just find a different dealer. Make sure they stick to their word and measure correctly. There's an extreme level of miscommunication with the staff there. There were a few issues with screens and one issue with a sliding door that the install team messed up a bit. After a visit from the service team the service guy clearly stated that they will be ordering a new panel for the sliding door that was messed up. I know these things can take months to come in so I waited around 3 months for a call. Never received anything from them. So I called myself months later only to find out that there was never an order placed at all. There's notes actually stating that I would have to pay for a replacement sliding door which was NEVER communicated with me I found out by calling them. All of this only after a few months of installation nonetheless. I asked to speak to the service guy Eric who promised me it'll be taken care of me. Only to find out that he left the company. Then I asked to speak to my sales Guy Bill only to find out he left the company as well. The team didn't know who the new service manager was at first. So now I'm waiting to hear back from him. In my opinion they don't have their internal processes in order which in return results into a bad customer experience. Windows and doors are not cheap and it's usually a once in a lifetime type of buy. So be very careful in who you choose to service your project as you should get what you pay for. PGT windows are on the higher end of windows compared to what else is out there so you would expect the service to match that. read more

Run! Run! Run! The worst company I have ever dealt with. Would give 0 stars if possible. Absolutely horrific experience with these guys to install a front door. Unfortunate because they did our windows previously and that went well. But the door... it has been 1 and 1/2 years (January 2024) since we signed the paperwork for the door and they never finished it! They installed the door about 4 months after placing the deposit, never calked the molding after putting it back on the wall, level nails sticking out, did not add the smart lock that was in the contract, installed the incorrect threshold..... you get the idea. Over several months we were able to get them to come and fix the nails and molding. They led us on for months about the other fixes with never coming back to actually do them. Then they demanded we make our balance payment PRIOR to them coming back and finishing the work. At this point it had been almost a year since inception and months and months of promises of them coming to fix everything. We told them we would pay them when they actually showed up and fixed it on the spot. They instead placed a lien on our property. I have talked to at least 10 people there, managers, etc. Nobody cares. The worst company I have ever dealt with. read more

I was so excited to have BnT install my new Miami Dade rated hurricane windows and doors. Over a year later I I continue to be highly frustrated and disappointed in their lack of communication and nonexistent product warranty. I am not able to wash several of my new windows because the screens are too tight and cannot be removed without having a technician come to my property. My back slider door handle mechanism is cracked and the coating is chipped off of the exterior handle. They ordered a replacement part over a month ago and it just never comes in. If they hadn't installed the original handle upside down, then corrected the problem and stripped out the screw holes, it may have been okay. Sorry that I wanted all of the lock levers to be consistent. Once the final payment was made, you just can't get anything replaced or repaired. Lesson learned. Choose wisely when you're choosing a company for your impact windows. I've been waiting for the Manager to call me back! read more

I used BNT years ago to replace 3 windows after Hurricane Matthew when they leaked. They did an amazing job! I am ready to replace all of my windows so of course I contacted BNT again... 8 months ago I sent an email to Brett, no reply then I contacted them 2 months later via Yelp, I still haven't heard back. I don't know if they have new management/owners or my job is now too small for them. But the polite thing to do would be to REPLY! A BEYOND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE We signed and paid on July 22nd, 2024. The authorisations were not filed rapidly as promised and so the authorisations did not take 30 days, as is common (see the website of the office for municipal authorisations) but 2 1 /2 months, and only thanks to BNT 's wonderful Tristin Balino's efforts. Work finally started Sept 20th and the workers installed windows are of good quality but also installed one that was broken. That happens, we get it. But whoever the property manager was (the first one, Ray Bergan disappeared from sight and we never once were able to speak to his replacement, a Mr Precious) did not bother to inform us, our own private oversight person (we live abroad so we hired someone to oversee the work , never imagining in a million years how many extra hours would be required). When queried BNT admitted the breakage and asked US to send THEM the information(model numbers, etc) written on the window label: As access to that window required a 2-story ladder, we refused. Time passed until at the end of October someone finally went to take the measurements and told us the second replacement window would be delivered in January. In January we called to ask for date of delivery and learned the order to replace the window had simply NOT EVEN BEEN FILED . It was refiled at last at the end of January. and we were told that the new window would be installed in February. In February our own oversight person went to the house for the instalment but the WRONG WINDOW had been ordered. It was REORDERED for the SECOND time . In March the right window was finally installed but the workers sat directly on the window sill and broke off a chunk. They had to come back to fix it and after first refusing to repaint , did finally send someone to fix all the damage. So ,to summarise: having paid and signed on July 22nd, the work was only completed 9 months later. We were unable to rent our house for the season as we had for the previous 15 years for this reason and we paid our property managers a large amount for all the extra hours of presence , waiting for BNT to arrive, do the work, come back, redo the work, come back redo the work. To cap it all off, when all the work was finally finished MR John Marco sent us a bill overcharging us $5000!!!! In the end, Inez Martin helped us correct the error, gave us a very slight reduction in our final payment. Not a tenth of the money we lost in income and fees paid to our oversight person A warning to the wise.... read more

I can't say enough about this company. From the time Amy my first contact with the company to the installers to Clay and Tom the company was absolutely incredible. They handled everything. Amy was amazing, she was knowledgeable, courteous and a real person not some salesman who just wanted to make a sale. The installers were professional and clean. I tell you as one was re moving the windows and doors there was another vacuuming and cleaning at the same time. There was a mishap with the inspector and Clay reassured me that everything would be fine and staying with me until the inspector showed up then installed the trim just to get the project completed that day. Horrible experience! Horrible customer service! Good luck getting a returned phone call! On the day of installation, they installed one window that was the completely wrong window and another window was measured incorrectly and could not be installed. I was assured the windows would be reordered immediately. Fast forward over two months and after daily phone calls for over a week I finally was informed the windows have not been ordered. They want to make the incorrectly measured window fit. The window with the wrong design was not reordered either. And after repeated requests to speak to someone in management, I still cannot get accurate answers about how to move forward. I would not recommend BNT under any circumstances. read more

Our project to change 3 doors started on October 25, 2022 and was completed on April 13, 2023. The project took much longer than planned due to multiple mistakes, unprofessionalism, and tardiness. I was staying on top of our project, checking the status of permits and inspections on the city's website and responding immediately to phone calls and emails. I felt like I work for BNT. 1. It took 1 month for BNT to submit the documents to the city of Aventura when they had absolutely everything. 2. When I requested the status of our permit the response was that it was still in review with the city. I checked on the city's website and the status was issued. 3. One of the doors that was sent was wrong. Therefore we had to go through a painful process of phone calls, emails, meeting with a project manager (who repeated the work of the installers who already took pictures and notes of the wrong door) , and then another visit from the installers to reverse the doors. 4. BNT could not schedule an inspection with the city for over a month and could not get a hold of the city official to get a response to a simple question for the same period (36 days) to be exact. When I asked if they tried sending an email to the city official or utilized the online communication platform, the answer was no. I found the email of that person, it was posted on the city's website, provided them with the email, and we received a response right away. 5. After waiting 36 days for BNT to figure things out, we waited another 3 weeks for a BNT technician to be available, then the inspection on March 7 was cancelled, March 8 was also cancelled, and March 9 BNT failed again. 6. We failed 3 inspections and finally got an approval on the fourth one. BNT didn't install our front door according to the manufacture's requirements. The inspector spoke with the BNT officials, posted his notes on the city's website but they didn't bother to address the issues. Not to mention that they were late for one of the inspections, I was calling the main number, and everyone from BNT that I have communicated with - nobody picked up the phone. It took me 30 mins. to get in touch with somebody and the inspector was gone by this time. This is just a short recap and I didn't go into much detail. If you decide to go with BNT be ready to burn out your PTO for numerous visits because they simply can't coordinate and do the job professionally. Do you want to be aggravated? These people ignored my calls repeatedly after I brought the house that was installed without the screens. The last owner wanted to wait to close until she received the screens but I told her that I wanted to be in my new house before thanksgiving. Had I wait I would have certainly lose a lot of money. BNT impact STORM WINDOWS was amazing from the beginning to the end. When I contacted the company, I was able to set up an appointment quickly. After they came out to look at my existing windows and do the measurements, they sent a quote within a few days. The quote was very reasonable and much better than other companies. The office staff walked me through each step and was extremely helpful & kind. I was able to get my HOA approval and they submitted the paperwork for the permit. Within a couple months, the materials were in and we were able to set up an installation appointment. The installers were incredible. They were on time, hard workers, and finished the job within two days. They covered the furniture as well as other areas in the house which helped with the dust. The inspection was scheduled as soon as they finished the installation. An employee from BNT came an hour prior to the inspection to check the windows and work. Very poor communication and responsiveness! I started the process of upgrading my homes window and doors with BNT back in March 2021. It is Sept 8 2021 and I still don't have them installed. Granted, I was advised it would take 60 to 90 days to get the product from the manufacturer but we are way passed that point. They send you an email with a tentative date but there is no follow up. I was told my installation was planned for sept 15th only to call today and learn I'm not on their schedule. If you are looking for a good experience steer clear from BNT. We really needed a new front door and had always wanted to replace our old windows. We did have to watch our finances, and BNT worked with us on installing our door and windows in stages. With a payment plan in place, we were able to replace all of our windows. It has been an amazing experience. The crew who did the installation was fast and efficient. Signed a contract on 11/19/20 for impact windows and put down a 40% deposit. It is now 7 months later and work hasn't even begun. From the beginning it has been delay after delay. They measured the windows wrong and had to come back. We emailed them the HOA approval several times and yet they kept misplacing it. Then they call us weeks later asking us if we had it yet. These initial delays are their fault, and likely caused several other customers to get in line in front of us. However, they take no responsibility for these delays and blame everything on supply chain issues due to the pandemic. Meanwhile they tell you point blank over the phone "we have 40% of your money and if you cancel, we'll keep it." After several calls (you have to call them, they never call you back) they finally offered me a measly $500 credit, which amounts to about a 1.5% discount. A measly 1.5% for sitting on my money for 7 months with no end to the delays in sight. They also of course have a lien on my property this entire time, despite being paid for almost half the job with nothing to show for it. This is preventing me from taking advantage of record low rates and refinancing my mortgage. They smugly told me if I pay them in full (after 7 months of zero work accomplished on my home), they could remove the lien. Zero customer service at all, you can tell in every conversation they don't care, because they have 40% of your money and know you can't back out. Update, since original review they have pushed installation date back 2 more times. Maybe they will get it done in 2022??? This company is horrible! The installation team, led by Rafael, was very careful on our property, making sure to minimize damage to our window frames during removal of old windows. it has been a horrible experience. was supposed to be a two day job and over a month and still dealing with issues. no communication, not miscommunication, none.No one to tell what's going on , can't get someone to return a call. Installers destroyed bushes, broke a AC drain line , left saw dust and garbage all over it goes on and on. False promises from senior project manager and zero follow up , we are having to chase them down.They just don't care. Gave it one star because I couldn't leave zero. read more

A brief summary: they damaged my property, left a dirty mess, refused to refund, then I cancelled my CC payment after that got some attention. During those 6 months of trouble, they came to my place 4 times, but they still have to change the sliding doors frame. Meanwhile, to claim they were not responsible for the mess, their employee made a hidden video of my father cutting some wood on the balcony, they were smart enough to talk about it with me even after I mentioned it was a federal offence...anyway, I even have this video in my email as well. So, if you are willing to have someone come and go to your place for over 6 months by fixing uncompleted job, as well as having contractors who infringe your privacy and violates laws - feel free to use them. As for me - I'm getting an attorney to boost their motivation to complete the project which another hassle. read more
