Very happy with every level of my experience with this company. 1. Price: they run about middle of the road in cost compared to other companies. I was solely looking at PGT windows which are considered high quality.. They also carry other windows as well . 2. Consultation: Very transparent, to the point, and honest which is what i loved. ( when dealing with other companies I felt as if I invited a used car salesman to my home. They would quote some ridiculously high price then ask for friends phone numbers, or to leave a sign in the yard for discounts.. which immediately turned me off) 3. East Coast Windows and Doors We chose East Coast to replace the original, 30 year old windows with new hurricane windows and front door. Neighbors of ours used them and highly recommended them. The sales rep., Jason was excellent and very experienced. The owner came out to do the final measurements. The office followed up every step of the way and did exactly what they promised. 10 weeks later the crew came out. They worked like a well oiled machine. 5 guys came our and each one knew exactly what they where doing. They explained everything they were going to do, then hung up tarps, covered everything with plastic got started. They cleaned up much better than expected. In 2018 I hired them to install six impact windows of various sizes in the upper part of my townhouse. Due to the age of building (36 years old) the installation took longer then originally thought. Anyway, they did an excellent job. They cleaned up after themselves, too! So, I hired them again in 2020 to install three sliding glass doors and one bathroom window. read more

We decided to have hurricane impact windows and doors installed throughout our house a few months ago. We had a few companies come out and give us ideas and a price. Due to some good reviews and word of mouth we decided to go with East Coast Windows & Doors. We met with Chris and discussed the best way to go, then the owner,Ed came out for final measurements and finalize the plan. We were told by all the companies it would take a few months just to have all the custom made products manufactured. Once they were ready they would send out a crew to install. Andre and his crew came out and spent almost 5 days installing and making modifications to, they did a fantastic job and made sure we were very confident with the installation. The day after they were done they had the city inspection scheduled and Anthony from ECW came out to make final adjustments,fine tune everything and finalized the installation. Had all windows replaced 3 years ago or so. Now looking for a roof. Realized that yelp was helpful for me to avoid bad businesses and realized I owed East Coast Windows a review. They were very professional, did my windows quickly, laminated and insulated PGT Vinyl Hurricane Proof windows. Their crew was responsive to my every request and the icing on the cake was after about a year or so, one front window had a leak that caused damage to my home. They not only came out promptly and sealed a tiny crack in 2 places, but redid some other caulking that I requested without any charges! It gets even better. When I told the owner I received damages on the inside, he didn't just turn it in to his insurance company, he told me to get estimates on repairs, which I did, and he settled those damages with me quickly fairly and equitably to my satisfaction. Now I'm looking at other work and am going to use East Coast because they are among the best businesses down here in South Florida that I've had the pleasure of dealing with, PERIOD! read more

About 6 years ago, I had them replace all windows and doors of my home with hurricane proof ones. It wasn't until 2 or 3 years later did I realize the problem. Instead of using proper outdoor caulk which is mold and mildew resistant, they used the cheap stuff. So after 2 or 3 years black mold began growing on the caulk. I tried cleaning it, I tried special solutions, I tried everything but you cannot fight the outdoor conditions in South Florida. Finally, I had to get another company to come and remove all of the crap caulk around every single window and door and replace it with the proper material. Don't use this company - they cut corners and you will pay the price. read more

Had our windows installed by East Coast approximately 11 years ago. After about 9 years they started to whistle. Made more than 10 calls to service before I got a return call. When the technician arrived I showed him the windows. Unfortunately the wind wasn't blowing. He asked if I had a recording. I said I didn't, thinking this guy is trying to blow me off. I asked if they could be repaired without removing the windows and he said yes. After about a week of waiting for a follow-up I never received one. Don't know if this company has technicians or just installers. Very disappointed in this company and would not recommend them. read more

Had also gone to a big competitors showroom: while the door was the same the experience at East Coast was far better and instilled much more confidence in the operation itself. Highly recommend. I had impact sliders installed by another supposedly reliable company - what a disaster! East Coast was professional from start to finish. Their quote was on time and highly competitive. Their crew showed up at 8 am, worked all day without breaks, and didn't leave until 6 pm. They warned me the job would be "messy," proceeded to cover all furniture and probably left my home neater than they found it. They sent out an installer "just in case" on inspection day. Inspection passed with flying colors - the inspector indicated that they were a top notch company. East Coast Windows and Doors installed my impacts windows and doors on April 23rd and 24th of this year. The company is very professional. I interviewed two other companies and chose this one due to the time that they spent with me during the initial interview and the time that they took to measure the windows and doors. The owner also came before the order was placed to introduce himself to me and do a final measurement. One thing that really impressed me about this company is that I am one of thousands of customers at any given time, and the office staff knew me by name if I called with a question and were excellent customer service representatives for this corporation. The gentlemen that were here the two days working at my house were extremely professional. Before they finished my job, they asked me if I was satisfied with everything and if there was anything else that they could do for me before they left. They put the original hardware back in my new hurricane proof door and hung my blinds, which they would not have had to do. It pains me to write this review. We had worked with East Coast for years and used them for multiple homes. We ordered a replacement door after the hurricane last year. A year later they have yet to install the replacement door. It is a simple slab door, no design to it, no glass. I hear story after story after story measured wrong, bad delivery etc. The last contact was December 17 saying they would be in touch. They never follow up. I always must chase them. They have had half the door cost for over a year. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Luckily, we have a broken door place. I wouldn't want to depend on them. read more

Overall we were really happy with our experience with the company. We had 3 hurricane windows and 2 sliding glass doors installed in a condo in Surfside. The first day there was a little hiccup with the parking situation and so they were unable to start. However, they came out the next day with a smaller truck and larger crew so that they were able to get everything installed in one day. The following day they just had to come out to do some finishing touch ups for a few hours. All of the employees seemed very professional and as far as price goes, they were a couple of thousand dollars cheaper than the other bids that we received. I have recommended the company to several neighbors so far and will continue to do so. read more

I just had 8 windows and three doors replaced with hurricane impact rated materials. These are not cheap but their price was reasonable. These guys were on time, polite and very meticulous with the work. They came back twice to adjust a few minor details. The finish was top notch and detailed.
