So the first meeting was pleasant but later on discovered there was a lack of detail. We weren't given a sample to view nor if we wanted the green tint energy efficient windows. I should have asked as we had windows installed in the past but the contractor back then was more informative. We moved too far for that original contractor to come out to install so we looked for a new company. We picked this company due to the great review. Price was extremely high but wish the communication was better. So the delivery took a very long time, I understand the delays in supplier. Then the work to install took over a week to do. Ok the installation part was a disaster. Only two out of 3 people knew what to do and all the old windows were broken which resulted in a messy situation. It was a whole day event and I understand the work is not easy but they were not clean on the job. We had to go around the exterior part of our home and pick up glass and nails and other debris. Inside the home I had some much glass to clean, there was glass pieces on our beds under the beds, huge pieces to small pieces. It was insane cause when we did windows in out other home it was never this bad. My son stepped on a piece of glass , so I made everyone wear shoes all over the home. There was one guy that was working he was great and efficient, one was training on the job. Honestly the supervisor should have been here observing the job knowing it is a big job and he had a new employee. One and a half weeks it took. There was some damage to the wall tile too which was told that it was the person who installed the tile, to me basically a brush off excuse. The stucco guy was amazing I have to say! He and his employee were on time and efficient and I honestly can't complain the work was great! I think if I didn't have experience with a previous window install I would not know the difference. Shop around and make sure you see all the window options cause we paid a lot and not going to redo it for a energy efficient green tint windows. The boss or supervisor should really be on the site to see how things are going. The workers were on their own for a week and a half with no one really checking up. I got tired of the COVID excuse , I feel like it happens so much and that was the reason they were short people. I am happy the work is done and over with. Just do your research having all great reviews question it! No company even great companies will have great reviews. Contacted the owner to replace a foyer window and we provided the correct sizing. We received an estimate and ready to commit. We noted the size and picture on estimate didn't seem to match correctly and asked owner to revisit before deposit made. Owner sent out employee to measure the window. They made error in original estimate. It felt like a bait and perhaps switch deal as now the pricing substantially increased. We asked them to reconsider their mistake and perhaps a pricing error. Measuring employee, not owner, responded that estimate was correct and cost of doing business currently with them. We cannot recommend this business and will not be doing any business with them. We would have preferred to work directly with owner as originally started, and truly feel the pricing adjustment was more related to commission to employee now involved not simply a correction. We had multiple estimates completed and Kennan was now the highest to date. Some include the same brand of window product and features. Keenan did our whole house last year new windows new doors The sent a new crew to my house. All the windows broke inside my house. Made holes all over my marble floors. He told us he would send a floor man. He never did. When I called he would yell Jeff the owner is very rude. Also my French door in bedroom is terrible. It leaks smell mildew now. It was over a year ago. Cost us 50,000 dollars. My husband and I are 74 yrs old. I felt like it is elderly abuse. He should have fixed my marble floors. Glass was shattered every where in side. Ruined a glass cocktail table scratches all over it. I thought he was bonded and insured. He should have at least fixed my floors. How dare he send a new crew to my house. Everdentially I was the tryout house. Jeff fired them soon after but what about my floors and smelly leaky bedroom French doors. Elderly abuse!! read more

Had been thinking for some time about getting a new front door and replacing my French patio doors with new impact doors. Thinking IF I ever did it, I'd probably go w/ JVR. I rec'd my Best Pick Report Broward edition and found this company ( Keenan ) with outstanding reviews. I called them and 2 other local companies. I called JVR for an appt. but.... after 2 days I went to showroom to look myself. My job was tiny.. but did then set an appt. JVR came on a Wed, and by Friday I had to call them about my estimate, which was given to me verbally. I asked for it to be emailed, never received it. Who does that? 2nd place fella came out, rec'd the estimate, I asked for a change on estimate of a door.... never got back, no follow up. Keenan, Dan, came right out. Gave me a written estimate, I gave them one change to the order too, got that back to me right away. BOOK 'EM DANO. It was a bonus that the price was fair too. My order came in a few weeks early, their installers ( not contractors - which was important to me too) we great guys. The few usual tweaks needed after installation, were take care of after one call - the same day, like 2 hours later. Maybe I just got lucky. Keenan Windows is one of the best companies in Ft Lauderdale. They are so professional, they arrived at the exact time they said they would be, which was 8:30AM and were packed up and gone by 1:30PM... they installed 5 windows and a two door slider. I just knew they would be here much later. They came with a 5 man crew and started to work as soon as they got out of the truck. They came a week earlier and did some prep work, like removing the old storm shutters that were on the windows, so that saved a lot of time on installation day. I highly recommend this company. I live in a condo community and I am the 5th person to use them that I know of and all were very satisfied with them. They came highly recommended to me by all the other tenants... Installed 9 windows and new front door in about six hours, removed all debris (old fixtures and construction mess) from premises and broom swept/vacuumed the work area. I just had 3 sliding doors replaced with hurricane impact swing doors by Keenan Window and Door. I have found this company extremely easy to work with, they show up when they say they will, ON TIME. The install crew was outstanding! I know one reviewer rated them poorly for follow up customer service. I have not had any issues so cannot comment on that, however, based on my experience so far I do not have any concerns that if an issue would arise, they would be great about it. Really had a terrific experience with Keenan. Dan Anderson was very easy to work with in estimating and scheduling our installations. The team that arrived to do the work was professional, cleaned up after themselves, very accommodating to me and what I needed (we have dogs to contend with) and very timely. We have a small house but still the entire install of windows, front door, and new sliding doors took less than two days. We moved to South Florida a little over 3 years ago and had our 3 patio doors replaced with impact atrium doors, then later all windows, then the last project was a glass impact decorative front door. All three experiences with Keenan were outstanding. I left some reviews after those installations. Today, I must shout their praises once again. Our double front door, we were having difficulty getting that second door unlocked & opened, and we are expecting a furniture delivery tomorrow. I just had 4 hurricane impact windows installed in my house and used Keenan Window & Door. I could not be happier. Dan, the contractor who met with us and gave us the quote was honest and to the point, no fluff or trying to up-talk us into something we didn't want. He listened to us and even gave us some advice on a problem window that we are having replaced at a later date. Dan is not a slick salesman, he's a field guy and I appreciate that so much. The installers that put the windows in, Ray & Jason if I remember correctly, were also awesome. They were friendly, courteous, quick working, thorough, respectful and cleaned up perfectly when they were done. We have minimal touch up paint to do around the new windows which is impressive and they made sure to point out an issue with the shape of the existing window casing that makes the window look crooked when it actually isn't. They also went around and inspected and tested all the installed windows with me inside & out.
