These windows while manufactured in Columbia the delivery was about what you would expect from any windows being manufactured in the USA. The quality of these windows are excellent. This is my 3rd set of impact windows in this house over the last 30 years. And by far the best and hopefully the last. I visited the showroom in Hallandale to verify the quality and the quality was there. The price point on these windows is fantastic also. Assured has a great staff and great communication with the customer. Tina always answered all my questions. Installation of the entire house was completed in one day. The upside there was very little stucco repair. The only con was the few stucco repairs were not to my standard so I used my guy and Assured covered the cost no questions asked. Ron was a great salesman. He even dropped in during installation to see how things were going. Most salespeople just sell and don't care what happens after the sale. Not so with Ron. read more

Everything u need to know about this company is in the first three letters of their name. Nothing but issues right from the beginning. Was told windows would be installed on 8 to ten weeks by salesman Anthony. That turned into 8 to ten weeks from HOA approval which was about two months. Salesman left gate open and fortunatly I found it before the dog did. Then they were going to install on exterior garage door on the wrong opening. The crew were the best part of this whole operation but office communication was horrible and their truck messed up part of my paver drive. Then one of their outside representatives called me for payment while there were still outstanding issues, kieth, a real clown. He tried and tell me the pavers got messed up cause the company that did them did a lousy job. I told him no money till all outstanding issues were corrected. About a month later they were corrected as well as the inspection. At which point ( now 6.5 months later) o was told by a concerned owner he was sorry and for all my aggravation I would receive $1000 off my final invoice plus double the 2.5 referral fee on another job worth $12,500 or $625. Well that didn't happen, only got the $1000 dollars with a bunch of BS. They were the cheapest of three bids and now I know why. I'm a contractor so I know what the right way to do biz is but many of these elderly residents think this is normal, it's not. read more

There are hammer marks and scratches on multiple windows and doors where they banged the crap out of them during the install. We are having a leak and ask them to come out to see if it is a widow issue. The man they sent out was extremely unprofessional and rude. He yelled at me and was very snippy with my husband. When I called to complain they gaslit me and told me that couldn't be true and if it was everyone has a bad day. While that is true it is your job to remain professional, we are not your employees or friends and that is not how you treat your customers. I wouldn't recommend this company. Avoid Assured Storm Protection for ES impact windows. problems with workmanship from install day. Took over 2 months for fixes and stressed me out health wise and sleepless nights. Too long a story to detail but they threatened lawyers and blocked. bullied me- wanted to be paid at door to fix, and install screens and screw covers, and only would do after inspection/which has minimal standards. They give curt replies and do not care about the customer. Finally got corrected and completed when I got county inspection involved. Now the owner asks me what I want for compensation to remove bad reviews. No. Nothing can give me back my sleepless nights and health or time spent with lawyers on phone consults etc.... worrying. Bad and very rushed workmanship. whole house in 5 hrs. Further damages, they broke marble sill and floor tiles, chunks out of wall. window treatments damaged, not covered contractually. I had panic attack at install. I also don't recommend ES windows which many companies use. I wish I had gone with PGT in hindsight but really do not use Assured Storm Protection for any service. read more

We used this company to replace all the windows and doors in our home. The installation went smoothly, but we failed the inspection in April 2024. Despite numerous calls, emails, and requests to speak with a supervisor over the past two months, I still have no resolution. The office staff has been unhelpful and rude, showing no concern for my situation. After finally resolving the permitting paperwork with the city, an inspection was scheduled for July 2. However, Assured failed to send anyone for the inspection, and now has to reschedule. This company is definitely not reliable, and I am truly disappointed after spending so much money. read more

I felt the need to follow up regarding my previous review for our windows and door installation. Our city flat out failed the permit. To quote the city ," Entry door frame bowed and not sealing properly. Able to see light at top and bottom. PERMIT FAILED. The head inspector stated that this $10,000.00 large door is defective. However Jake at assured continues to lie to cover up their mistake and avoid taking responsibility for this. He even went so far as to lie to the credit card company stating it passed inspection. Additionally they destroyed our outdoor shed, broke 4 tiles- which I had to pay for. Good ,hardworking honest people out there. We are still waiting for our high impact windows . They are way over the delivery date . Do yourself a huge favor find someone else . The delivery of the windows were timely. Installation was in August. When the inspector came, he said I could delay inspection until locks came in. I did not want to prolong the inspection process. During the installation, and on other occasions, I heard from some on your team that the window product I ordered was "new" and they had "never worked with this window". While I appreciate the transparency, this sentiment does not elicit much confidence from the homeowner. After installation was " completed" the locks on the sliding doors were giving the installers difficulty. They kept digging into the wood on the door post. Finally admitting to me there was a problem with the lock. I was instructed to get a piece of wood to stop the doors from opening in the event of a burglary. "Don't worry you have dogs no one is coming in here". Any remnants of confidence quickly slipping away. Not until November did the locks get installed. At this point one of the doors which could barely be opened by one of my very fit and strong adult sons, was removed and something revised on the bottom by Phil and Barrington the door was replaced. Finally the door locked and moved freely! I would have overlooked all of that because everyone was very nice and my concerns were addressed in a polite manner, but the aforementioned was not the main cause of my dissatisfaction. Almost every marble window sill was damaged. Not a little chip but severed, cracked, chipped and gouged. It was obvious attempts were made to plaster the damage. But nearly every window sill was damaged. I was told to purchase the sills and ASSURED would replace. I did not trust the workmanship so I did not do that. My pavers both near the windows and in a trail to where our hose is are covered in a white concrete like, impossible to remove substance. I personally had to paint the white/gray compounding material framing(on all 4 sides) the three sliders in our lanai. If I had used your company first I might have expected this damage to be inevitable or the norm. However the other company which had installed the upstairs windows, broke nothing, and left my second story in tip top shape. Although I painted the unfinished, and thus very unsightly door posts I still haven't been able to clean the hardened concrete substance (your workers left)off of the pavers. read more

I recently had 32 ES Impact Glass Windows and 3 Impact Glass Doors installed by Assured. In the past I purchased accordion shutters and 5 impact doors & windows. Based on past experience I requested a quote from Ron Silverberg. I liked dealing with Ron because he's very professional and not the least bit pushy as some sales reps are. I got four other quotes because of the size of this job. Ron's quote wasn't the cheapest, but not much more. I ordered about 3 -4 months ahead of when I wanted them because of custom pieces. The process went very smoothly. Installation crew was excellent. There were so many installers who work as a team they had 80% of the job completed on the first day. By the end of day two everything was complete and they cleaned up. All installers, led by Flavio, were skilled and respectful of my property. I'm very happy with the quality of their work. Every window/door was installed plumb/level and functions perfectly. This is the same result I had previously. The city building inspector remarked that he was impressed that they didn't miss a single fastener in the entire job, highly unusual. My neighbor went with the low bidder company and is very disappointed with the quality of work and that it took weeks to complete with half the number of windows. They had a crew of two installers that are "free lance" and did very sloppy work. I highly recommend Assured for an all around quality experience. read more

I would never use this company. I am in the process of getting several quotes from different companies for accordion shutters. After speaking with someone on the phone I received a text that my quote would be $4500 plus permit, without ever having someone come to my house to measure windows. I inquired about having someone come out to measure and the response was "I've been doing this for 22 years, that's a close ballpark estimate." The estimate was $1400 higher than my highest estimate. They offered to come out to measure after Being rude and telling me I never called them back(lie as we had spoken on the phone already) then apologized and said they get so many calls, they're confused. I originally decided on this company after reading their great yelp reviews. Unfortunately, my experience did not match that of others and I now know why. This company offers a free 5 year warranty for any customer willing to write a positive review so keep that in mind when making your decision. 1) The first issue was that my shutters came in about 3 months later than promised. A big deal when you're trying to beat hurricane season. 2) Poor communication. They did not communicate the delay to me. I had to call and ask for updates. When the shutters did finally arrive, they scheduled an install date without first speaking with me to see if that date worked for me. 3) Their receptionist/ front desk staff is unprofessional and rude. If you have any questions or concerns they give you lots of attitude and are less than helpful and will try to bully you into making the final payment, even if you have outstanding issues. 4) The man who installed my shutters arrived late, and then stated he needed to take a break for 3 hrs after working for only 20 minutes. Take note this company does not mind wasting YOUR time. 5) My shutters were installed crooked and i had to fight with them to have it corrected. they claimed my flooring was uneven.....we'll here's a thought, since these are custom made shutters, shouldn't you have accounted for that in your measurements??? The fact that i had to go back and forth with them over a common sense issue was very upsetting. 6) They do not respect your property. They damaged several of my items. A rug that was moved out of their immediate area, a huge hole in my patio, again not where they were actually working, and left my tool shed in pieces. I would not recommend this company. They have good reviews because they essentially bribe their customers to write 2 or more favorable reviews. Also during the estimate, they make you sign something about them not being responsible for any damage that they may cause. I naively thought this was just a precautionary measure but after observing their haphazard handling of my items I now realize they take 0 caution or efforts to preserve your personal property. I will give them 3 stars though instead of 2 since they did eventually fix the shutters. They sent out one of their lead/ higher up installers. He was incredibly helpful and actually knew what he was doing. They did not respond though to my email that contained pictures of the items they damaged. And though the shutters were eventually fixed, when it comes to business and purchasing large ticket items, I would have expected it be done correctly the first time. read more

When we decided to go with Assured Storm Protection, we assumed we would receive top quality work and professionalism as indicated on their website, google, and yelp reviews. Needless to say, we experienced the opposite and are extremely dissatisfied with the company. The initial experience, the sales rep. was nice and responsive, but there after signing, the professionalism went downhill. Red Flag #1: Once the initial deposit were made, communication process was nonexistent. As a paying customer, we should not have to babysit and constantly call for updates. #2: We had the wrong color shutters installed. If the phone representative claimed to have called and confirm the color, this would not have been an issue. They denied the mistake. Our contract says otherwise AND HOA approved the color. Although their mistake, they wanted to charge another $1500 to correct the color shutters. #3: During the installation process, besides the obvious damages, they mismeasured and drilled extra holes and didn't patch them up. The caulking and sealing are a mess and some areas were even missed! Unprofessional. #4: Per their checklist that was given to us on the day the contract was signed, we could retain 5% of the final payment until the final inspection. Instead, received an email the day shutters were installed requesting the remaining balance, otherwise, they would put a lien on our property. It's been over two weeks since replying back..no word yet. I am not one to write reviews, and as much as I would love to write a positive review... This company was such a big disappointment and not to mention the headache having to deal with HOA due to their mistake. I would like to get this resolved. Be prepared to babysit!!! Terrible customer service. I am writing this in hopes that management will contact me to remedy this issue. I followed up with Greg to obtain a quote on aluminium storm panels; I received a quote for approximately $2400 but I have NOT received any response to my follow-up emails asking to view the panels before I purchase. I am 99% ready to make the purchase yet there's been no reply to my inquiries -- including confirming if your panels are rated as "Miami Dade Large Missile Impact" and how the H + F tracks work. I realize that $2400 may not be the biggest sale of the month, or even the week, but I would hope to nonetheless receive a meaningful response as a customer willing to pay for your products. I wish to make this purchase. I just have a couple of questions and wish to view a sample of the panels; I'm even willing to drive to your store location if I could just receive a reply. If I do not hear in a reasonable period of time, I'll be forced to take my business elsewhere. $2400 is still business to be conducted. read more

When he sent us the quote we noticed that he incorrectly quoted us for shutters where we wanted windows & asked him to revise the quote. ANTHONY sent us a revised quote but he had left out 2 windows so we kindly asked him again to send us the updated quote with the correct number of windows and shutters he got very upset at me and said he couldn't go back & forth and said he wasn't interested in moving forward. From the beginning we had problems. Took months to finish the job. Phone call after phone call. To this day the front and guest door has been aligned at least 3x. The most recent time they asked me to stay home all day and then showed up when I wasn't home on the wrong day. Now they say we were just responsive and we should get the hamdyman. The girl in the office told me on a Thursday they could not get out that week and Monday I should wait all day until they called. Well the guy showed up that Friday and of course I was not home and his call went to voicemail . When I called him he said it was my fault and the office said it was my fault I didn't answer the phone. So now there doors are not aligned and they refuse to come back out. What storm door after thousands of dollars keeps needing a realignment?? In addition the inside frame around the front door does not fit properly, inches above the bottom of the baseboard! I had windows installed on December 5 2017. I did not want to have to put up hurricane shutters. The company assured me that these windows were so strong someone could beat on them for 8 hours straight and not break the glass. As you see from the photo my upstairs window is broken. Apparently they do not answer the phone on Saturday so I don't know what the resolution will be. But since we did nothing to cause stress to this window I am no longer comfortable with the product 1/22/2018- Update- they called to say my window was in GREAT!! I had my husband call to set up installation and they said there was no window . I called to figure out what was going on and apparently had to leave a message because no one there could Check and the person in charge did not have a working cell phone. Accordian shutters installed last month however taking off my shutters to replace they took off the concrete and paint and refuse to fix two large areas causing me hundreds of dollars to fix. I was also told in my contract states not responsible for damage which I don't see and also told they charge additional to take off hurricane shutters which I do not read anywhere that has to be done to put on new shutters. If that was included in my paid price after all a sales person and engineer came here and made NO mention before installation. read more

Omg this company is a disaster. Let me tell you a story (see TLDR at bottom)... I contracted Assured Storm to install panels on my West Boca townhouse in April 2020. What happened next was a comedic level of screwups, and terrible customer service like I've never experienced before. To start, we needed HOA approval before installation. As requested, we emailed Assured's team a list of what was needed. They provided everything except a copy of their Palm Beach license. No big deal, right? I replied to Assured Storm with the request. First email....crickets. Second email...nothing. My HOA needs this doc, so I call to request it. The woman who answered says "Someone else in the company manages this. I will let them know you need it and they will email it to you". 2 more days go by with nothing. I reply to more of their team a third time...nada. Finally I had to email the request to the sales rep that sold me the package and he finally replied with the needed doc. Whew, finally over that hurdle. Next up after all HOA approval is scheduling the install. A few weeks go by and I don't hear anything about scheduling which seems peculiar so I call to check in (because I have zero faith in anyone's ability to respond to an email). Of course, the first woman I talk to doesn't have any info, so she says a manager will call me back (oh boy...). To my delight, one actually does call me back about an hour later (yay!), and promptly delivers the news along with a handful of apologies that....they.....literally....forgot about me. They took my deposit then forgot I existed. This process of contact - no response/"don't know" repeated itself multiple times. Installation day actually went ok. The install team accidentally left a few of my panels back at the shop, but they did deliver the missing panels within a few days which I appreciated. Overall, if I would have known all this would happen from the start I would have gladly paid lots of extra $$ for anyone else to do the job. TLDR...Assured Storm will take your money, provide the worst customer experience imaginable, & forget about you. read more

This is a bad company. Do not get involved with them. They rip you off. I signed a contract with them on May 11/2020, for Storm Shutters for all the openings on my house. I also, signed for two Impact Doors. I had to call and complain through out the whole process and still no inspection was done by Fort Lauderdale because they never submitted the correct paperwork to the City. They have giving me so many promises and excuses for almost 10 months. They don't seem to care since they already got most of their money ($14,329.53).
