"Authentic" is a state of mind- there are people who don't like McDonalds! What planet are they from??!! LOL- With that in mind- this place has what it has, good bad or indifferent, another option for us foodie bloggers to pretend like we know what good food is.. hee hee.. All the food is very tasty, seasoned well and complex in its own way. The textures play off each other without overpowering the food, Simple and delicious! Salsa bar and fresh strawberry drink, was refreshing in the heat. Homemade horchata, complimented the huge Chimichanga I had, The chimichurri sauce (orange one ) had a good bite to it, while the avocado sauce kicked really nice, spicy. There is a variety, burgers and fries, grilled steak subs and sides that is good for everyone, try the bacon wrapped hot dog! I recommend this place to all my displaced Tijuana/ San Diego/California, El Paso/Juarez people... did I mention that you can eat very well for under $10? Bring the kids!! And an appetite read more

I ordered a carne asada taco and al pastor taco both with the corn tortilla. No extra toppings other than the hot salsa (pictured). The asada meat had really good traditional flavors (no pic because I ate it all). It was a little shy on the amount of meat. The al pastor was not good at all. The amount of meat in that one was good, but it looked like chorizo (pictured). It smelled and tasted very porky, if that makes sense. I did not like the flavor and did not even attempt to eat it. The corn tortilla was ok, just how a plain white corn tortilla would taste like. Might go back for anything carne asada, but that's about it. read more

We ordered takeout here for cinco de mayo and the reviews weren't too bad. It was delicious! I was pretty impressed. I got barbacoa street tacos and my husband got the California burrito. This place was so good! Real authentic tacos! Not meat from a bag or been sitting there under a lamp all day. Made fresh to order. Street style is the way it's supposed to be. I wish I could have tried the other salsas but the green tomatillo was good on both the al pastor and the carne asada. Got a side of rice and it took up the whole plate. The rice was a bit bland but it was cooked well and spiced right. Just needed salt. But THAT is my only complaint. Not busy at all since we went at 1600. Make sure you speak clearly and enunciate. Also listen closely as I think the cashier said she was either hard of hearing or deaf and reads lips. She's also very quiet when she repeats your order. But everything was right as we ordered and no miscommunication. Just be respectful if she doesn't hear you the first time. Overall, highly recommend! read more

I stopped by the other morning and ordered a Deluxe Breakfast Burrito and it was terrible...you could not taste the chorizo, the eggs were wet, the diced potatoes were raw, and it was not properly folded....it completely fell apart after a couple bites...also bell peppers don't belong in breakfast burritos but it's your menu...I think you guys should revisit this item and or retrain your staff on how to properly cook this item. read more
