Been wanting to come to this place for a while for their live music. They have $15 valet or self parking on the street with the pay by phone app. Also add $5 cover fee to bill for the music. Since it was just me I was able to sit at the bar without a reservation. I got the Evan's Espresso Martini and ordered the Jazzy Chicken Francese with the truffle fries. Apparently they make their own spirits in house so nothing is made with branded liquor. Small dining menu with very generic cocktails. The food & drinks were delicious but nothing out of this world. Also New Orleans inspired menu but no beignets?? Broke my heart. I think they rely too heavily on the atmosphere & live music and could put a little more love into the overall dining experience. Good spot for live music and drinks with friends or a date night.

Armstrong Jazz House was the perfect place for a late-night cocktail and live music. I got my usual old fashioned and it was perfect. My husband and I shared a dulce de leche Pavlova. It was so beautiful and even more delicious. My husband isn't really a sweets kind of guy but even he loved it. The jazz band was amazing. They even allowed a guest to sing Sinatra's "My Way". The guest made singing that song look easy! Service was fantastic. Our drinks were never empty. I plan to come here again on my next trip to Miami!

Great music, horrible wines. Pleasant jazz atmosphere in a dark jazz club vibe. Will definitely return but prefer to pay the corkage fee, next time. Didn't eat but the food around me looked great. Service was as expected, pay 20% for 5% worth of value. But again, the most shocking experience, was how horrible their wines by the glass were. I wish them well, it's a great jazz concept for Coral Gables, but please improve on the wine offerings, especially when you don't have a liquor license.

This place is a gem. Surrounded by live jazz and great service, we started with cocktails and the chicken tostones appetizers followed by the French onion soup, blue note shrimp salad and skirt steak. Wrapped with the tres leches dessert. Chef's kiss!! Oh, and the Bordeaux was Devine. If you visit, you must experience this place!

Wow! We finally found our perfect go-to place for jazz, great food, and relaxing atmosphere. The place may be small but it's huge in personality and great personnel. The staff was friendly and, oh sooo efficient. Upon arrival they give you a complimentary shot of their passion fruit cocktail. It was delish We went as a big group to celebrate our friend's birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our complete experience. The manager approached us and offered some of their specialty tea at table outside (on the house.) It was such an unexpected treat. He is definitely a gracious host. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful intimate space with lovely live music and good bites and drinks. I got the espresso martini and it was fantastic and so well balanced. The truffle fries were good and so were the tostones. Great service and the welcome shot we got was such a fun introduction to the establishment. Reservations are strongly recommended as the place is smaller and can fill up quick.

We went here for the music. The place doesn't have a liquor license so it's pretty much mocktails . Service was ok the waiter was a little pushy- wanted us to order food right away and reminded us of our 2 hour stay limit. 4.2 stars.

Despite its name, this is not a place for serious jazz listeners, it's a nice restaurant with tasty food-albeit limited menu, excellent cocktails and great jazz themed and vintage decor. Very recommended for first dates or for a special occasions in particular if you choose corner table adjacent to the entrance. It's a small location but does have sidewalk seating. My companion and I enjoyed our meals-jazzy chicken francesa and the Cajun shrimp/calamari. The full house was not there for the music, they didn't even applaud throughout the evening. If you want a nice upscale evening with live background music, fabulous however, if you're looking for a serious jazz listening experience, stay away.

Nice vibes with food, drinks and live jazz. Service is good with attentive waiters but this place required reservations to be inside to see the band. Otherwise you're not gonna be able to go in. It's limited reserved seating. For after hours you can always sit outside and till enjoy the vibes. I'm giving it 3 stars because we couldn't go in and they don't sell real liquor. Their cocktails are all inspired drinks. It's still good but it was alittle disappointing to me that I couldn't get a real old fashioned.

I'd like to come back, sit inside, and try the food. I love Jazz and I like that Armstrong appears to be a popular place to watch live Jazz in Miami. I can't speak to the food, but the cocktails we had were decent and the service was pretty good. It was full inside, so we sat outside at a few tables on the sidewalk yet we could easily hear the band. The Jazz? On the particular evening I went, it was somewhat boring and even a bit uninspired - almost like background music. Maybe that's the point of Armstrong - it's a place where you can enjoy light, easy-going Jazz for good conversation (if you can find it), food, and drinks.

What's the best day to visit & music?

Every night has a different venue as far as music so what I would recommend is see who's playing that night and look them up on YouTube and hear some of their music that appeals to you then look for that night I like Richard bravo and his group and…

Was on our way to grab wine in Miracle Mile and stumbled upon what now happens to be one of my favorite Jazz bars in Miami.
