We took a couple of our friends visiting from California to Bouchon Bistro for brunch, and it absolutely did not disappoint! This place truly caters to all your senses -- from the elegant ambiance to the incredible flavors and presentation. Let's start with the desserts -- not only are they stunning to look at, but they actually taste just as amazing as they appear. The rose-shaped cake we tried was a work of art, and when we cut into it, the cake was perfectly moist and flavorful. Huge kudos to the pastry chef for hitting the mark -- it's rare to find desserts that are both picture-perfect and delicious. My husband and I both ordered the eggs Benedict, and they were cooked to perfection -- rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated. And the coffee? So good that we all ordered an extra one to go! High off an excellent brunch, we left ready to explore Coral Gables and already talking about when we'll be back. Bouchon Bistro is a must for anyone who appreciates exceptional food, service, and presentation.

What a beautiful French restaurant! We went to enjoy some traditional French cuisine. The only downfall was it gets quite hot in there, but luckily they were able to pass us out some paper fans. They put a piece of braided bread on our table with french butter (if you know you know) so delicious. The Som recommended a delicious red to have with the food. I forget what it was called, but it tasted like a cab. We did the Miami Spice menu. I started with the escargots de bourgogne. Absolutely delicious snails with a garlic butter and puff pastry. For an entree I had the steak frites, but i subbed mashed potatoes for the fries. WOW these were some of the best mashed potatoes I ever had. Buttery, smooth, decadent, I ate the whole plate. Way better than the fries. For dessert I had the bouchons au chocolat. They were warm and delicious and topped with vanilla ice cream and a chocolate sauce. Our waiter was very nice and prompt. No notes 10/10. Actually, get stronger AC LOL. ;)

I came here with a friend. We decided to check out the Miami Spice menu. We made reservations and we were sat immediately. The waiter was very nice and helpful. They brought out a fresh loaf of baked bread and a side of warm pistachios. We both decided on the escargot for our appetizers. They came out very hot. They had little flaky pastries on top of them. The escargot was very small. I've had them several times but they've never been this small before. But they were delicious. As our main entree we both ordered the steak frites. The filet mignon was delicious with a tasty herbed butter on top. The fries were ok. They seemed like previously frozen fries. Not the high quality you would expect at a restaurant of this sort. But, the steak was perfect and that's the most important thing. For our desserts we both ordered the Bouchons au Chocolat. It was yummy, but honestly it just seemed like a cylinder shaped brownie. They were very small, which was perfect because by that point in the meal you're already pretty full. A small amount of dessert is all you need, and even then, we didn't finish them. I usually like to have a glass of wine with dinner, but it was VERY expensive (even by the glass)! The Miami Spice menu was $60 per person and the wines were $30-45 per glass on average. It was pretty busy on a Friday night and it got pretty loud. We could hear each other fine, but I got a call and couldn't hear anything on the phone. They charged us $7 for the flat water and added an 18% tip to the check. Our checks came to $80 pp. So if you're going out to try the MS deal, plan on spending more than the $60 price. We parked in the garage next door and parking was $5. We tipped extra because our waiter was really nice.

wow- incredibly romantic date night spot. This place was busy in the dead summer which says a lot for a Miami eatery. The exquisite high quality food, attention to detail, and highly professional servers were a standout. I came for the Miami spice and was NOT disappointed- escargot, fish and dessert I'll be dreaming of for days.... A total treat.

Excellent service and delicious food. My favorites were the escargot appetizer and the mussels entrée. Highly recommended.

We had an exceptional dinner at Bouchon Bistro in Coral Gables. The entire staff was extremely knowledgeable and attentive, and we appreciated that the restaurant was family-friendly, with a few kids present during our early dining experience without any issues. Dinner started with a warm bread service, along with homemade butter and pistachios. The meal itself was exceptional, with dishes like escargots and steak and frites cooked to perfection. The escargot were a group favorite! They were topped with a puff pastry and marinated in the most amazing garlic butter sauce. The truffle potato special, which came with potato dumplings topped with fresh truffle shaved in front of us, was a highlight of the meal. The steak and frites were cooked to perfection, medium, rare, and just melted in our mouths. If we ever came back, we would definitely start with escargot and have the steak and frites again. We also tried the mussels which were so fresh and cooked in this savory and herby butter wine sauce. The wine list was pricey (which made sense for this type of establishment), but we were able to find a more affordable option in the La Fete Du Blanc, which paired perfectly with our food and was just as incredible. The desserts were also incredible, with the citrus tart and crème brûlée being standout options. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Bouchon Bistro and would definitely return. The delicious food, good wine, and excellent service made for a memorable dining experience!

Had an intimate dinner at their courtyard and the food was very good. Service was great and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic date night. We absolutely loved the lamb and the roasted chicken was very good. Profiteroles for dessert were on point and they had a great selection of French wines. I will be back for more

This is a nice place to go have really good food, good service and a nice atmosphere. A few veriety of delicacies with so much flavour in them. Also, they have a vast variety of cocktails in their digital cocktail menu that you can try along the entire dinner. The staff is so knowledgeable of the menu and will recommend you accordingly. Paid parking nearby.

Great service and really really good food for Miami Spice! There was another very loud party that made it hard to enjoy the ambiance- but other than them the decorations were lovely

We love this place. Never disappoints. The steak frites, escargot and oysters are always a good option. They have a very extensive wine menu with sommelier in house. The service is always great and the vibe is chic French cozy vibe.

Decided to try out this restaurant as part of Miami Spice. Great selections for dinner for this event! Service was courteous and professional. Restaurant is good for any kind of dinning whether family, friends, or date night. All our food selections were fantastic. The filet medium was juice and perfectly cooked. The escargot were very flavorful. The deserts did not disappoint our sweet tooth either. I look forward to coming again to try other menu items.

Very nice ambiance inside, great service but food was a bit disappointing. I got the lamb and it turned out to be very traditional French, the beans very very tasty but the lamb itself was underwhelming, I think 3/5 for the food, but 5/5 for the service and decor, so that ended up lifting my overall impression of the evening.

I had my first visit to Bouchon Bistro and overall really enjoyed it! The food was delicious -- my steak was cooked perfectly, the oysters and deviled eggs were spot-on, and the service was super friendly. The only thing that kept this from being a 5-star experience was the pacing. We arrived a little after 5 when the restaurant was empty, but everything came out way too fast. Before I could finish a bite of my oysters with my cocktail, the first course was already hitting the table. At one point, we had bread, pistachios, deviled eggs, escargot, and gazpacho all crowding the table at once, and I hadn't even settled on wine yet. It felt rushed, and for a Thomas Keller restaurant, I expected a little more thoughtfulness in timing. That said, the flavors were fantastic, the vibe was great, and I'd definitely come back. Next time, I'll just make a point to ask for a slower pace so I can really relax and enjoy it.

The music was great and people were enjoying their time. We had 1 cocktail each and went on our way because we just came to check out the spot honestly. I had the fabulous martini which has a purple hue to it, it was very refreshing. I love that they garnish it with a lavender. The espresso martini was made with Don Julio Reposado, and had real fresh espresso as per the menu. It was good but a bit strong too! We had asked for an extra shot of espresso on the side just as a pick me up. But our server told us that it comes cold, which is odd because the menu literally says freshly brewed espresso in the cocktail description. It was fine though, we still enjoyed the drinks. Overall, our experience was nice! If you are ever in the Hialeah area, you should totally check this spot out. They also have bites you can order but we were full from dinner and didn't get a chance to try anything. Definitely have to come back to try some more cocktails and grab some bites!

We've come here a few times in recent weeks and the place is running nearly the same as it always has for at least a few decades, through changes in drag hosts, management and even changes to this venue's name over those years. We tend to come just before showtime so there's normally always a cover (worth it for the entertainment patrons get to see), friendly bartenders and a drag show featuring talented performers, with at least one normally interacting with patrons and doing comedy during a break in the performances, before opening up the floor for dancing once the show is complete. Azucar isn't located near much of anything else when it comes to nightlife, it's a bit divey - definitely nothing fancy or glamorous, and it's probably not worth the drive from the beach just to check it out, as at least one other reviewer mentioned. Also, all shows and entertainment, aside from lyrics to a few songs here and there are in Spanish with no English translation, so if you don't speak Spanish or have someone who can interpret at least some of the funniest bits that get the most laughs, you may not fully understand what's happening or may feel a bit left out. That said, if you're just looking for a solid drag show or appreciate Latin nightlife, this is definitely an option.

So I was a little surprised when I arrived around 7:00 and there were literally no other diners! But it turned out to be terrific: the food, drinks, setting, and the personalized service I got from my waitress was outstanding. The hospitable vibe made me feel special, like I belonged, as opposed to self-conscious or on display in the empty room. She did assure me that it fills up frequently, and two or three other parties did come in towards the end of my visit around 8:30. Maybe people just tend to eat later around here. I started off with a Hemingway daiquiri, one of my standards these days. Fresh-squeezed lime juice, a decent rum, pronounced cherry flavor, and a nice sugar-rimmed glass. Not too sweet and very strong. Enough so that two would have been irresponsible as a driver. My second and last drink, Portlandia pinot noir, was above average for a house wine, a good size and under the going rate for wine glasses. I noticed Fever Tree sodas at the bar. That's an excellent brand and I don't see them often. Speaking of the bar, it was nothing too fancy but I loved the the white monkey figures swinging from the vines overhead, illuminated by the changing colored lights. Salsa music playing quietly. There was a bartender who I didn't interact with, somehow keeping busy the whole time. I wonder what he was doing with nobody else to serve drinks to? Taking my time before describing the food because I took my time too, studying the menu and taking in the scene. I started with Serrano Ham and Manchego Croquetas: 4 croquettes, browned and firm on the outside and soft, hammy and cheesy inside, sprinkled with cheese on top and aioli underneath. Couldn't be better. Entree was Salmon A La Plancha: the grilled, seasoned fish served on top of a large pool of the aji amarillo sauce. A different sauce, sweet and brown drizzled sparingly on top, a very charred half lime for squeezing on extra flavor. Jasmine rice on the side and a small salad with great greens, a sweet dressing, and pickled onions. The salmon maybe just lightly overcooked? A trivial complaint! Fantastic. Totally unexpectedly, as if it wasn't already special enough, at this point another plate arrived: an appetizer of tostones and a very generous quantity of guacamole, limey and cilantro-laden. Free of course. Well I was pretty full at this point but I thanked her sincerely, tried some - it was excellent - and took most of it home for the next day. Then it was on to dessert. A Cafe Con Leche flan with Kahlua sauce and meringue. Nicely chilled, brûléed, smooth consistency, and toasted meringue that actually tasted good, not like the usual that I just scrape off and discard. Complete with caramel popcorn, salty and sweet, fruit and mint garnish. Equally important as the taste, it was a beautiful presentation. I finished with a flawless espresso. Truly a perfect dining experience, no exaggeration.
