Plaza club also hosts Young Professional events where the company and milage may vary. It's located upstairs in the Frost Building downtown. It's not really an event to get invited here for something "association" related, but it can get you exposure to members and staff that can help you secure a genuine membership, if that's what you're looking for that evening. Great view of the city that includes Hemisphere plaza and the Alamo Dome. Dinner is more familiar "club food" fare that you grow up with than like earth shattering world cuisine, so this is an ok place to be!

It has a unique atmosphere that feels very different from a typical downtown area. I especially enjoyed simply walking along the river and taking in the surroundings. There was always something to see, whether it was the architecture, the boats passing by, or the people enjoying the area. Despite being a popular destination, it never felt overwhelming, and there were plenty of spots to slow down and relax. The River Walk is absolutely worth visiting and is one of the best attractions in San Antonio. Whether you're looking for a scenic walk, a meal by the water, or just a place to spend a few hours, it's easy to recommend.

It's easy to walk, the tour boats are novel, rental bikes are everywhere, there are tons of places to eat and shop, and you can even carry open containers of alcohol along the River level. Art museums, hotels, the courthouse, and more can be accessed from the River, so it's easily a huge part of the heart of downtown. The city keeps doing more and more to make the space memorable, so permanent art installations, parks, and other similar features keep getting added as time goes on. If you're visiting from out of town, I can't recommend adding the River Walk to your trip enough. It's absolutely worth experiencing for yourself.

The members are always amazing and to see the community engagement was inspiring, especially in our current state. Food was fresh, meatballs were amazing. The gravy was en pointe and the Italian lady serving salad perfect amount no nonsense attitude that you would expect and respect. We also saw a very friendly homeless dog. We fed her, it was cold and raining when we went. It broke my heart. The cemetery is broken up with street name signs. If you know the street name that's the easiest way to find a grave. Very peaceful, some of it is well take care of and some graves need some TLC.

She was so friendly and did not miss a beat. Another waitress came at one point to fill our waters, she noticed it, and she complimented the other waitress and thanked her. The tables are smaller with some longer ones in the back, so we were barely able to fit 3 dishes on it, but the dishes are smaller but pack so much flavor and joy. We got the Big Red Barbacoa tacos, grilled skewers, and the Pork Belly tacos. With each bite I understood more and more why it was a James Beard semifinalist for best new restaurant this year. $9 a taco? Yes. And I would pay it again without hesitation. We enjoyed the pork belly taco the most, and what I loved is that we weren't chewing into a fat cap. This pork belly was tender, moist, perfectly seasoned and the slaw was perfect to cut through the rich pork belly. The Barbacoa tacos were also very good To Barbacoa tacos were filled to the brim with Barbacoa, and I loved the slight sweetness from the Big Red in the tortilla. I needed that pickled radish and the salty cheese to balance the meat, and it was delicious down to the last bite. The grilled skewers were also very good, especially the Wagyu, and I just loved how simple yet perfectly balanced the sauces were and how they complimented the meats without overpowering them. I honestly like the chicken more than the pork belly, but my kiddo ate that pork belly so fast I barely got to eat one! Perfectly crispy, not greasy, just a great end to our meal. We also got the Daylight cocktail which was such a refreshing cocktail during the day, tart and crisp and simple. I could drink that cocktail all day everyday! And the espresso martini looked divine, but I just couldn't have caffeine this late in the day. Anacacho was so good that we are heading over there now to grab some breakfast and coffee. Their corn tortillas were thick and strong and carried the weight of the inside of the taco nicely, and they have breakfast tacos that are calling our name along with some gluten free pastries too! The waitress was very well versed in gluten allergy concerns, and they also have a GF modified French Toast...yes please! Anacacho is a perfect place for some small bites, cocktails, and delicious food. The 3 dishes we got were PLENTY for all 3 of us to share and kept us full for hours. What an excellent experience! As far as I know, it is the only place in San Antonio , outside of the Universities and colleges , that consistently offers open drawing sessions in a professional studio, using live figure models. It even has open session for portraits on Friday mornings, using live models. Additionally it offers adult classes in oil painting, for beginners, intermediate, and more advanced painters. It has classes for children through its "Coppini Kids" program, and a "master class" in drawing for kids 11 - 17. As if this isn't enough, it offers workshops for members and the public, taught by popular and world-class artists who come in from across the country. If an artist is focused on representational art, the Coppini is a great place to investigate!
