I went here with a friend. We ordered some drinks and appetizers. I asked for a dry martini it was wet. I went to the bar and I told the woman bartender that was blonde that it did not taste like a dry martini ( Too much vermouth ) she told me" she thought a dry martini is more vermouth and a wet martini less vermouth.. She then took away my drink and gave me a smug smile. She then proceeded to say if, I didn't like it , she make it whatever the way i want her to make it , with some kind of an attitude.! I told her okay .. very sassy. Customer Service was so rude when I was being very polite. I hope that they will improve their customer service when it comes to the bar instead of making me unwelcome. I felt very uncomfortable and inconvenience when they are in the wrong. Additionally Christina ate cake while just watching us wait for drinks for 20 mins without asking us if we wanted anything . And then she proceeded to hang out cake for another 10 minutes without acknowledging us . The employees after shift sat at the bar drinking and I had a confrontation with a few of them. The manager actually contacted me regarding the situation, they ended up banning the member that was verbally assaulting me. And insured my security, which is good since I do love this place and its food. Glad management acknowledged the severity of the situation, and took ownership. I'm so grateful, I'm able to come back to enjoy my meals in peace. read more

I don't play poker but my husband does. I've been to the SA Card House a couple of times when he plays tournaments. I played for the first time ever last week during one of their "free" tournaments. I had to pay a membership fee and also an optional employee appreciation fee. Everyone was so nice to the newbie and I had a great time. I will play these "free" tournaments again. Phan Tommy 1 review 2 minutes ago very disappointed in that place ..especially security staff. very rude and racist . my wife sat behind me during play and rudely told to move elsewhere after she got busted in cash and tournament play. she paid her dues to play to support this establishment and was wrongly treated . management witnessed it and allowed it to happen surrounding tables assured me that they were wrong and sided with me . how can u treat ur members in such way I couldn't understand and felt violated. Legit legal poker environment in SA. I went there on a friday for 8 hours or so, it is somewhat costly as it's $10 per hour, but it's not really that different than if you won 1 pot per hour. Would be back again if i had the free time. read more

Very unprofessional. I play higher stakes (5/5) in Austin because that's where I live but today tried this place out since they regularly get a game going. I play often so I understand that a 5/5 game is usually full and has a wait list so I show up and enter a 1/2 game and put my name on the list for 5/5. After an hour and a half of playing 1/2, I ask where my name is at and it turns out it was never placed on the list. Ok, I understand accidents happen, but at this point it is 1:30 am, almost closing time so I ask the manager for a refund on my 20$ fee since they made the mistake and never put me in the game and he says because of "state law" there is nothing he can do. This is completely false because I've gotten refunds before from other card houses that didn't put me in the game I wanted to be in. I feel like most card houses reviews are mostly positive or negative based on people winning or losing money. I won a few hundred playing 1/2 but will never return to this place due to everyone being very unprofessional and not tending to the customer's needs. Try Rounders or Alamo card house if you want to play in SA. read more

This place was immaculate as soon as you walk in. There was food and all kinds of drinks pretty much whatever you could think of. Bailey is always working and between her friendly attitude and huge "feel at home smile" she always has on i will definitely be back just because of her!!!!
