Shoutout to Stockton, CA…read more Stockton is home to one of the oldest universities in the United States, the University of the Pacific (UOP) . The baseball team plays in the NCAA Division I, West Coast Conference. Klein Family Field is UOP's baseball stadium. The stadium is less than 8 minute drive off Interstate 5, West Alpine. The games are open to the public to attend. I try to attend a game or two each season. Other schools in their conference includes Gonzaga, Saint Mary's, and CSU Sacramento. Occasionally they play demo games against the Pac 12 schools such as UC Berkeley and Stanford. The Klein Family Field is a 2500 seat baseball stadium. The stadium has foldable individual seats which surprisingly are comfy. The admission is all general admission, first come first serve seating. Tickets can be bought online or at the box office on game day. Ticket pricing increased from last year by a third. Children (ages 5-12) is $10, seniors (60+ years) /staff/faculty $13, and adults $15. Parking on the weekends is free. But check before you go, as things may change. The field is beautifully maintained. Natural grass, looks full and green. But by golly, they do have to do more to maintain the entire infrastructure. The public women's restroom was in bad state from the start of the game. The toilets smelled of stale urine. The floors and stalls were dirty, and two of the three sinks automated water dispensers were broken. Hubs stated the men's restroom also smelled awful like backed up sewage.

Went last night to watch Lincoln and St Mary's in a sectional playoff game, it is oriented similar to Banner Island Ballpark, with excellent field views, and parking right across the street. Only drawback was the fact that the only concessions open were in the Spanos center, about 2 minutes walk. A warm early summer evening, a fun crowd (packed with parents and kids. a great place to watch a ballgame.

I spoke with Sarb, and he was very helpful. He told me they still had availability for our event, which was a relief. What impressed me the most was that they offered us time to set up before the event started. When we arrived, the place was clean and ready, making it easy to get everything organized. Since we were working with kids, we didn't use the throwing axe area, but we did enjoy some exciting laser tag. you could bring your own water and cake or cupcakes, but you needed to buy your food from them. They used Mountain Mike's pizza for food orders, which was located off Robinhood. There was a bit of confusion among the workers because some understood the rules differently than others. However, I decided to stay patient and ask questions until I got clear answers. After discussing it, everything worked out well for me. My food arrived exactly on time, just like I had requested. The laser tag room was amazing! It had two stories and was really well put together. Honestly, I can't explain how fun it was--you just have to see it for yourself! The kids had a blast playing there, and believe me, it's definitely a workout! They got to play four different games, so there was always something new to try. When you first arrive, you need to sign some waivers and set up your account. They take a picture of you, which goes up on a big screen at the end of your game, showing your score. Everyone was excited to see who had the most points! The atmosphere was lively, and everyone was laughing and cheering. It was a great way to spend the day, and I can't wait to go back again. If you're looking for fun and excitement, this place is a must-visit!

We ended up at Alpine Blue Farms on a whim because the first farm we went to didn't allow dogs,…read moreeven though my dog was in a backpack. Alpine Blue not only allowed dogs, but had their resident farm dog sitting on the passenger side of one of the carts going up and down the dirt road. This local farm also beats others in prices! At the end of May, only cherries and blueberries were available to pick and everything was $4 per lb except the yellow cherries which were $4.50/lb. What a steal with today's inflation! The 1st farm we went to was way more than this. I like that this farm is widely open and you can explore anywhere you'd like. There were so many variety of cherry trees to choose from and I was surprised how large of an area there was for the blueberries. Not sure if we missed where the ladders were, but some folks near us had one. The place is clean and well maintained. Some paths were full and lush with grass. There were families just chilling and having a picnic in the orchard. Another plus is that it wasn't crowded like some of the other farms; we hardly saw anyone while exploring. They even offer rides up or down the road. All the workers there were so friendly. The sprinklers were on at the time we went, which made it fun dodging water and helped cool us off in the near-90° heat. There were portable washing stations and potties, and a sink by the check-out in case you want to wash your hands or fruit before bringing home. Overall, a great relaxing experience. Huge orchards, unbeatable prices, fresh fruit, and dogs allowed!
