My 90 year old grandfather told me, "call Huether." They have been so fair and trustworthy. They repaired the heat last year for $270 and replaced the entire boiler this year for less than HALF what Isaac tried to scam me out of last year. It is clear he has no idea what he is doing and is just out to get your money. We had 2 natural gas heaters partially installed by a previous contractor who did not finish the job. We asked James to go through the installation and be sure all the parts were proper. We also asked him to seal one of the vent pipes through the roof as it was actively leaking. He said we needed boxes built around our pipes as well. We assumed he knew what he was doing and came out to work at our place - with his 12 year old. He brought him to send him up on the roof of building to have his 12 year old fix the leak I only figured this out when they were leaving and his kids hands were all black from the "roofing tar" he used to seal the leak. After we paid him the $1200 for this project, both front and back vent pipes were now leaking. My husband got up on the roof himself to see if he could figure it out and saw what a disgusting mess this pipe was. That led to us googling and figuring out that the initial roof boots used were incorrect. They were black ones, not rated for high temp. The high temp ones are orange, so he was not responsible for installing the incorrect ones but we do feel he should have recognized they were the wrong ones when he went over everything which - he never said a word. And he used roofing tar to seal it which we now know melts and cracks under high temperatures. Then my husband went into the crawl space to look at the boxes and they looked like something a child put together. A few 2x4s nailed together. Was not tall enough to protect the pipe from the insulation. We then messaged James and told him we were disappointed in the level of service for the money we paid and we would not need him to return. This is where it gets good. He had the audacity to call us and start yelling at us, at 9:30pm, taking no responsibility whatsoever, no apology and placing blame on us. Totally and utterly unprofessional and childish. We would never hire him to step foot at our house again. We also gave him a chance to do the right thing and refund us at least half of our money which he did not.

Amazing response to our A\C problem a few weeks ago. Came out a few hours after we called and told…read morethem our Air conditioning was not working-given that it was almost i0 degrees outside, we needed a quick fix. After looking at our furnace and A/C, he told us both units were 18 yrs old -we've been in the house for 6 yrs, so fixing it was not cost effective and our unit was 80% efficiency. After we agreed on the appropriate size and high efficiency-we scheduled for next day install. They also said that a technician will be coming by later that day to install a portable A/C , at no cost to cool our bedroom for the evening as well as the next day during the install, which was an 8 hour job. Excellent service, professional from start to finish and followed up with us as promised. What also was a pleasant surprise is that they at no time try to sell us stuff we did not need. When finished, they walked me thru everything that was done, answered any questions I had and included a 1 year free check up/cleaning. Could not be more pleased.
